Breakfast: Absolutely no faults, the staff on site were fantastic! The food not only was presented well on the plates but tasted even better!! Room: Our room looked over the main road and we could see the start of the Loch. Was very well lit and the cleanliness was top notch! Location: for it being next to the main road it was very quiet. It was very peaceful and made me feel very calm Staff: Mary, Stacey, Kira, Chris and Rowan are the staff I remember the names of and they were phenomenal!! Fantastic service when I had dinner with my partner on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night. During the breakfast run of that week both staff on running the restaurant were lovely welcoming and very accommodating. I'd be here typing all night about the staff but to sum it all all staff did a fantastic job!

My only complaints would be the shower pressure and how hot the room was overall. There was a window that we always kept open because of this so it was easy resolved and there was a fan we could turn on as well. The shower pressure was pretty weak but I know this sometimes cannot be helped. I know I personally like a lot of pressure but that down to personal preference.

Great solo stay on way to a conference. Didnt feel intimidated as a lone female in the bar or hotel itself. Felt very secure, lovely clean comfortable room and staff were really helpful and friendly. Will hope to stay again next year but will aim to arrive a lot earlier to have a mooch around with a friend who I have also recommended the hotel to. I am a vegetarian and mostly feel shortchanged by breakfast options but the included breakfast was top tier! Breakfast was so good two of the other tables were from nearby B & Bs but preferred to come to the Tullie for a treat!

Better vegetarian options or plant based options on evening menu

Loved the location, the bar area/ restaurant is lovely, staff we dealt with were lovely , our breakfast was 1st class ,absolutely beautiful, freshly cooked and piping hot

Our room was very warm, was ok having windows open but it was quite noisy,( room 14) we didn't get much sleep at all and that was with window closed, room was stuffy and because we looked out onto the roof we could here the constant noise coming from the power system , air conditioning etc , also bed was too small We would definitely come back again but would book a different room as everything else was fine

Nice central location. Very handy for train, 10 mins walk to Loch Lomond shores and nearby restaurants. Cruise is just right across. Breakfast was good. Loved the location of the inn, price was very reasonable.

The hot water took 5 minutes to come thru. The pipes were empty and shaking. The bath took so long to fill up and most of the time the water was really cold Put some towels under the bath and they got dirty from the floor. We couldn’t eat dinner in the inn we didn’t know needed to book by 4pm and check in was 2pm. There was empty seats but the website wouldn’t let us book dinner. Had to go out and buy water for tea/coffee. Would be great if they supplied some water for guests since the water from bathroom didn’t taste so good. Phoned up reception using the number in the business card in evening since no hot water and didn’t hear back.

Room was nice bed comfortable, and had the comfort of a hot radiator so room was warm.Breakfast was a bit Disappointed, tea offered but do not like twinning tea and although the pot of water was hot but not hot enough and was almost finished by the time breakfast came. The man was busy on the phone and therefore when I got scrambled eggs on toast it was not hot enough either and to be honest the egg did not looked scrambled it looked like boiled egg mashed up.The location is very nice. Overall good stay and would come back to the Tullie Inn.

Have more staff while we had evening meals, the restaurant was not that busy conservatory had quite a few and a party of about six turned away as told at least 40 mins wait although plenty of seats.Only one lady seeing to everyone and help from another working in the bar, so they definitely could not cope with more guests just walking in, which did happen. This however did no effect myself.

Easy to find, good location next to station (very quiet,)and river, with lovely walks nearby. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Large bar, beer garden and restaurant, with well placed seating, and pleasant background music. Everywhere was clean and tidy and well maintained, nice decor in room. Warm and heating in room controllable.

Room had no view, drone of fan from kitchens annoyed my partner. Toilet was in very narrow space , which would be awkward for some. Would have preferred a buffet at breakfast as all options were not clear from menu provided. Were not aware cereals were available, though we probably should have asked. Tea at breakfast had an odd taste and did not like that hot water and tea bag brought separately as didn't brew properly.

Spacious twin room with a coffee machine, which was unexpected and very welcome! Comfy beds and bedding, pillows. We had an evening meal in the pub/restaurant which was very good indeed.

The en-suite did not have an opening window or extractor fan, so was tricky to demist after showers. Also, the breakfast service was very slow and we were forgotten about after ordering! I appreciate staff shortages are rife in hospitality at present, but a quick nod or update about the wait/delay would simply have made us feel a little more like valued customers, than an inconvenience. When it finally arrived it was good, but we were very rushed after a 35 minute wait, as needed to get on the road, hence nominating our preferred time the evening before.

Lovely family rooms with adjoining door. Made life easier. Lovely comfy beds, bath and shower great. Plenty storage space. Nice food down in the bar. Very friendly welcome..

We've stayed here before and so compared breakfast to earlier stays and unfortunately wasn't as good. Eggs and avocado on toast... was 1 small egg white, no yolk and guacamole! Minor details for us and wouldn't stop us staying on our journeys north (but wouldn't order that again).. Rooms are the main thing and they are lovely.

Lovely location, very central and right beside the tiny train station. The room was small but very cute with all amenities you would expect. The restaurant and conservatory were beautifully decorated and all employees I met were very friendly. Both the breakfasts and the dinners were excellent, and fairly priced. I had a great stay, and will be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Very minor things that probably can't be helped due to the building nature and build - bathroom was a little chilly, and could hear everything in the corridor and adjacent rooms.
