first room had an issue with the window so they moved me to another one ( was a bit weird that they gave me that first room, as it was already flagged as having a problem and was waiting to be repaired) bed was perfect, ferm, big room was clean, very good heating !!

noisy, very close to big main road ... if you are a light sleeper you will find it hard to have a good night sleep maybe a bit more options on breakfast the food in the buffet area was not really kept very warm

The staff went above and beyond giving us a board room so we could eat a takeaway with my children in peace. They were polite and made the stay. The manager James was exceptionally courteous and so good with the children too. One staff member Lauren, had driven her tractor to work and gave the children a go in it. Thank you 🙏 to all the staff. It’s rare to have such a friendly bunch these days and so welcome. Breakfast was good and room was clean and comfortable.

Nice clean, modern room, kettle and basic tea bags/coffee, a couple of milk cartons (more would be good) comfy bed, Did not try the breakfast on this occasion as was meeting back up with family in town the next morning. Toby directly across from hotel, the shared car park

This was just a brief stop off for a nieces wedding. Quite a taxi ride to and from the wedding venue, (Town Hall) we literally got to the hotel around midnight, had a cuppa, went to sleep then showered and left, Nothing wrong with hotel room other than lack of tea bags and milk so we could both have a cuppa at night and the next morning.

Breakfast had gluten free toast for a coeliac. Excellent as could have scrambled egg and fresh tomatoes on toast. Dining area kept clean Room clean and comfortable. Bed comfortable. Bedding clean 2 extra pillows provided as requested, but sadly not good quality pillows even though we had 4. Shower room clean and good quality towels

No cheeses at breakfast. For my husband the croissants were not covered and therefore not hygienic

The room was spacious and clean. We didn't have any breakfast so we cannot comment on that. When we arrived we noticed there were a lot of rowdy groups and we asked if we could be put in a room away from them, but the chap on the desk advised that they were fully booked and we would need to accept the room that had already been allocated. It was actually very near to a group of very loud girls, so when we returned from a 50th party we expected to be kept awake by them, but surprisingly we didn't hear anything and had a good nights sleep

The fact that the price of the room was extortionate! Most probably because it was during the school holidays. You should consider that it is just a room that we are paying for and nothing more. A lot of people are struggling with the price hikes in petrol, food, and utilities so this should be taken into consideration when setting the prices....

The windows blocked out the noise, the curtains blocked out the light, The male member of staff on check in was great.

The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were awful. The room was dusty and had long hairs oj the floor by the sofa as if it had not been brushed and mopped prior to our arrival and it was not just one or two hairs. The shower area of the bathroom was awful, theres geout missing from between the tiles on the floor and the shower floor became slippy on using it ...the water took a long time to drain and i was concerned about it going out of the door because of how much it was rising. We was not told on arrival about any facilities onsite so wasnt sure if we could buy breakfast or anything so used the toby over the way.

The Hotel was just off the motorway, easily reached, plenty of parking, plenty of green areas to walk my dog. Rooms was a good size with a comfy bed.

When we arrived we asked about having Dinner to be told they couldn’t accommodate us for quite some time. Luckily there was a pub nearby where we had a reasonable meal after a long drive. Breakfast was chaotic and reminded me of being in a school hall. Plenty of choice, but due to the way breakfast was laid out, it was a case of squeezing past people to get to the various items. Reasonable for one night.

Good breakfast

Stayed for 3 nights. First night was in a room on the first floor at front of hotel (room 138). The room was directly above an 'unofficial' smoking area, where people were having a beer and a fag and a chat. We had to keep the window closed to avoid fumes and noise. Complained next day and requested a change of room. Facilitated by a very nice front of house person (Mabel), who deserves a mention. The hotel is totally budget ... no air conditioning, very basic facilities, good for an overnight stopover but not much more.

We arrived very late and the all night reception was a great bonus, the staff were pleasant and helpful - even in the wee small hours. The breakfast was substantial and the late check out of 12 noon meant we were able to catch up on missed sleep and leave fully refreshed. Its good to get exactly what you expect, reliable standards are the most important point for hotel stays.

Not really anything to complain about.

Quick check in, helpful staff on the desk. Room with all you need, nothing you don't. Clean and uncluttered. And genuinely no noise from other rooms. Comfortable bed, enough space by the sink in the bathroom for all your bits and pieces, two huge towels, and - most importantly - they allow doggy guests, and have quite a fair bit of grass all around the building for 'walkies'.
