Staybridge Suites Birmingham, an IHG Hotel

Location great. Staff great. Cleanliness of hotel throughout great. Breakfast and coffee all day great. Cannot complain and will visit again.

1) Only complaint was tv in room. Suprised!! Small screen for size of room. with no digital features such as I player,Netflix and screen mirror. 2) why is check-in 15.00 and checkout 11am. Asked for late checkout - £10 each hour? Feel like I am being short changed!! Other hotels when visiting b'gham have always offered extra time for free.

Generous breakfast and laundry room included facilitated our stay. You can walk around and it's just few hundreds meters from the train station.

They assigned us a room for disabled persons which made me uncomfortable and they were not able to change it. The reason they gave us was not acceptable in particular since we were staying longer than most of the customers You can't turn off the noisy ventilation unless you cut the power.

Big rooms with high standard. Comfortable beds and even A small kitchen with a fridge, dish washer, microwave and an induction hob. everything was really well maintained and looked clean and fresh. The breakfast was okay. Both Cold and warm dishes was served at the buffet. The location was perfect! close to everything from shopping to restaurants and bars.

Only one thing disturbed us and that was the fact that the receptionist didnt want to help us call A taxi when we were going to the airport. This should be A standard thing to do in a 4-star Hotel.

My Studio suite was lovely, there was everything Ineeded for my stay, Breakfast was great and there was plenty of choices, and you could even pop downstairs for a hot drink anytime during the day. There was also a laundry room and a fitness room downstairs which was very handy as well. The Staybridge suites were located about five minutes away from Birmingham new street station and the shopping area's and bars were on the doorstep, overall I has a fantastic stay and I will definately be staying here again in the future, because the staff were also exceptional.

There were some noise during the night fron the roadworks outside, who were digging up the tram tracks.

The room was very large and clean. There was a TV and the kitchen facilities were useful if you wanted to stay for a longer period of time and cook for yourself. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise despite the central location and closeness to the lift. The location was excellent - within 10 minutes of bars, restaurants and the train station. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice.

The air conditioning was noisy, therefore once the room was sufficiently cool, I turned it off so that I could sleep. It would have been nice to have a bath in the room as well as a shower. Not all the lifts worked, but it was not too much of a problem. The prices of the food and drink was expensive - £1.80 for a can of Pepsi.

Exceptionally clean and spacious room and comfortable bed. Great breakfast buffet layout, lots of of continental choices but also Bacon, sausage, eggs, beans and potato bites. Freshly ground coffee, choice of teas and juices. The location was excellent and close to NCP (High Street) carpark.

Information could be clearer when booking regarding discounted car parking at nearby NCP car park, and the fact you need to download the NCP app and use this when entering carpark. We were given instructions and a code on checkout but as we didn't use the app when entering prior to arrival at the hotel we couldn't access the discount, it ended up costing us 49.90 for 2 nights which was more than double than we should of paid.

The service and the facilities were fantastic. I couldn't ask for more.

Everything was great but constant construction work in the city centre wears you down. It will look great eventually but it seems endless.

I liked everything about the hotel which reflexs in my answers.

The only thing was the food we bought from the pantry. 2 ready meals which was ok. And we bought a pack of 2 cheesecakes which was stale and it all cost £24.

Lovely big room with kitchenette, looks the same as the pictures, comfortable bed, chain on door for safety, peep hole on door, clean, quiet, central location, good value, nice customer service and complimentary breakfast with a vast variety of food and drink. Second time staying and I would highly recommend no issues either time.

Could be more gluten free options at breakfast, as there is just gluten free cornflakes or honey flakes which is fine but everyone else gets an amazing selection of food so I can't help but feel a little jealous though I don't know that other hotels offer this so its not really a mark against it just a wish. Other thing to note is that although its in the city centre the 2 ubers I got to it weren't able to drive close to the hotel so left me walking 5 minutes through Birmingham at night on my own- more an uber issue of not knowing the area I think but worth bearing in mind there is no parking or access directly outside the hotel via car and a couple of roads shut near it so just a heads up.

The location is excellent.  In the middle of shopping center. The place is quiet & provide good sleep. Breakfast is good. Washer & Dryer are free for use. Staffs are extremely helpful especially Christina who greet us every morning at the breakfast table. Staffs at front desks are kind and very patient in providing me advises. I decide to extend my stay from 1 week to 2.

It's right by the tram track and thus no pick up/drop off by taxi in front of the apartment. The drop off point is around 200m away and walk uphill, so can be difficult if you are traveling with big suitcases. Car park is also a 5-10 mins walk away up/downhill. Luckily there's a discount on the parking fee provided. Breakfast is the same everyday, so for a long stayer this can be 🥹. Hope some variants can be provided.
