Great value for money, the location is very close to train station and tram & bus stops, and within walking distance (5-10 mins) to city centre (bullrings, canals). The room is very clean and convenient.

I wonder if the location can be as great as the Holiday Inn City Centre, however for this price range, I cant complain & only 5-10 mins walking to bullrings or grand central is also a great thing.

We like the room as it could accommodate all 4 of us, thus being the beds and the room itself. The bathroom was lovely and the soap was Dove which was great as that's the only body wash l use. Breakfast being included in the price was great too and finally when we about to be late for check out, a staff member told me if l joined to become a member l could check out at 1pm which was awesome.

We left the notice to say we were put of the room and they could clean it but we came back and it was still the same. In addition we went to breakfast on the Saturday morning and when we arrived there was no one to direct or lead us to a table so we went ahead and got breakfast and sat at an empty table. Just as we sat a rude staff member came and asked me straight away, didn't greet us or anything she said "did l give you that table" l said no as l hadn't realised we had to be seated since there was no one in the lobby. So we moved on to another table and it was dirty so had to start cleaning it, the girl then went on to say " you should wait for someone to clean it" without consideration that my food would get cold or simply to say l will ask someone to help you clean the table.

Firstly the staff were lovely. The young man on the desk when we arrived, Dave, was so helpful and kind. Throughout our stay he was present and full on with customers and staff, guiding and organising. We were so impressed. Folks working in reception and in the restaurant were equally delightful. We realised just how important it is to feel so comfortable in a strange place. Room The room was very comfortable and the bed as comfy as my own, which is no mean feat. Very quiet on floor 18. Public ways clean and well decorated, nice quality carpeting. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Good quality ingredients and plentiful. All in all fab!

I can’t fault anything really. Looking forward to stopping at other Holiday Inns. Hope they come up to this standard!

We were asked if we wanted a quiet room and that lived up to expectations, however, being a high-rise city centre location the room was air conditioned and therefore slightly ‘white’ noisy. Breakfast was continental, fairly basic, but perfectly okay and was as expected and as advertised. Although on city centre ‘edge’ the location is a shortish walk to the main centre hub. Parking is expensive but the hotel gives a hefty 50% discount. We used the B4 Parking which is very close, decent large bays and modern, with ANPR in use. As an example, we joined the B4 Parking membership and were parked overnight for 18hrs and charged £14.40 which for city centre parking we thought very reasonable.

When driving to the hotel best to remember it’s Birmingham city centre and the signage on the hotel is….shall we say not obvious, although there is a drop off point.

The staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful (Shout out to Mr Manager man and Mr A) The location is pretty good. The view from the top floors is great. Yes you cannot open the windows but that is health and safety and you could imagine an idiot will drop something (like a coin) from the 19th floor and kill someone. Bed was comfortable. We liked the rainbow flags. Breakfast was included!

The air conditioner was there as in there was a physical object that was shaped like one but oh God it was warm despite us trying our best to deal with it, please allow clients to be able to control the airflow and temperature in a meaningful way... Or give us a tinner blanket or a ceiling fan The breakfast could have done with some boiled eggs and the toaster could have been used to cool our room the previous night, had to run the bread three times through it and it was vaguely toasted by that point so I gave up.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was delish, the room was spacious and had a nice view. The location was to die for! The little mint at the end was nice. The bed was fit for purpose. The building was inviting. The food in the restaurant was nice. I liked the silk curtain. We would definitely come back again we loved it and miss our room already ❤️

The little knob on the sink plunger was awry ie broken. The gym left much to be desired says my boyfriend but tbh he has quite a high standard about these things. The TV crashed whenever we tried to watch Friday night dinner and some of the menus didn't work.

clean, excellent breakfast which is included, suite zone even if it is near to Center -discount for parking 50%

- we had to use the sofa bed for kids and wasn’t comfortable at all and some metal was coming out risking to hurt them -it so a parking available next to hotel , even using the discount we had to pay 20£/day - even worst , for those who are not familiarised with zero emission of Birmingham , we had to pay the emission zone for 2 days -penalties :) . We arrived late on evening and went off very early morning . in all this time I have not being able to see the signs. Strange or just me … or level of tiredness. It was first time when we cross Birmingham. I was thinking it could be helpful for visitors as us , as the hotel staff to remind for those who have cars to check if they have pay the zero emission charges . Better 8 £/day then 60 £ later!

Location good, room good, Staff very friendly Price reasonable.

Airconditioning "head" leaking and causing a smell in the room when turned on. As room very warm and no natural ventilation available Had to turn on cooling air con. one towel used to catch drips "and quieten the dripping noise preventing sleep). Staff informed but not resolved during our stay. Breakfast good in general, architect need shooting, big hotel very small dining room! No egg whatever Sunday neither boiled fried or scrambled Bacon and sausage overcooked both days of stay.

The breakfast was nice, got very busy but staff did an excellent job getting tables clean and ready for new guests and also topping up the food.

Rooms are extraordinarily hot and the so called air con did not work properly, it was set to 19degress, and it could not be changed, plus the lack of any actual air coming from the machine was null and void. Signage to the hotel was rubbish, mostly blocked by construction, so if you come at the hotel from the wrong angle, which we did, you had no chance of seeing it, thus taking an impromptu tour of Birmingham.

Everything was perfect really. I enjoyed an excellent view of the city, the building is ideally located and the rooms cosy and clean. The breakfast was also excellent and the staff very friendly and professional.

The only point I didn't like was the presence of a massive dog which I also spotted unleaded and even in the dining area. I would suggest the hotel to be stricter with the pet presence. For instance some dog types shouldn't be allowed all together. It would be ok for a family sea side hotel but I wouldn't like to see big dogs or pitbulls in a city centre hotel.
