Very comfy room. Very big bed.

Only one bath towel between two of us. Another was provided by reception but only one left again after the next morning's visit by staff. No "do not disturb sign" available. No means to lock room via chain or similar so room service entered when we were asleep!

Quiet, Fairly Good Parking, Fairly Clean.

Spoon In The Room Wasn’t Cleaned Properly, Needed Plug Sockets Next To Bedside Tables Preferably.

The cleanliness, location and room were ideal. The hotel was typical of. A large business hotel.linen was changed daily.. one of the best showers I had come across. Plenty of very hot water

For the money I felt that 2 plastic beakers in our room for a 7 night stay was poor. The lighting in the room was poor. The room was a long way from the reception and lift. I have mobility problems and even after asking at reception the room location was poor.

Very Nice rooms. Comfortable Modern Good facilities, everything I needed for a two-night stay. WiFi was a bit slow, but OK.

Bar Restaurant was OK, but I didn't feel it met the standards set by the rest of the property. Had all the standard 'corporate' beers. - I always like to have something local, and there are a lot to choose from in the area. Buffet breakfast was fine, but unexciting. I had an inclusive rate, if i'd been paying the separate full price I wouldn't have felt it was worth it.

The hotel is clean and modern with very friendly staff. The room itself was on the small side, but not too small and there was a nice view of the surrounding fields. The food at dinner time was very good. Reasonably priced and of a high standard. Breakfast was also good, though could have had a little more variety. Would have no qualms staying here again.

The lift was a bit dodgy. There was no indication that the button had been pressed once the door closed and it was quite creaky. We avoided it after the first ride!

Good value for money, room was spacious, great location. Breakfast staff were just absolutely amazing! Very friendly and service minded.

When checking in later in the evening (around 9.30pm), the hotel was deserted. Staff could not really be bothered. Bar staff was nowhere to be found, even after ringing a bell few times or asking receptionist. When finally there, she clearly was not happy with our custom. Prices are very high at bar (pint of Becks plus small bottle of prosecco -> £ 28.60, when making a comment, reply was: these are hotelprices). We have travelled far & beyond but never experienced these prices.

Nice clean hotel, in a good location. I've stayed here a couple of times when there's been issues on M6.

The food dinner menu isn't great, the first time I stayed I had a starter and dessert, and this second time - after the refurb they marketed the restaurant really well, but unfortunately it was the same menu as before. I just got a sandwich at the subway opposite.

From the outside it doesn't look much but the minute you walk in the place is stunning. Good location, room was excellent value for money. Came with iron and ironing board plus hairdryer which was a bonus. Bed was very comfy. Drinks from the bar were reasonably priced as well.

All good facilities only suggestion would be to rethink breakfast the beans were in a pot next to Sausages and eggs next to black pudding. As a vegetarian it would have been better to have eggs and beans together just for reassurance that they had touched the meat but that's personal preference.

Rather sombre black paint in from reception area to stairs/lift...gave the wrong impression of the decor of the rooms awaiting you

Staff friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and food was hearty and served promptly. Aircon in my 'Privilege' room was particularly welcome on hottest days of the year!

Although hotel was clean the decor in communal areas was tired and in reception weird (matt black and low lights don't help if your eyesight is poor - I struggled to read documents on the desk in reception). Externally the hotel is quite shabby with old wooden fascia above restaurant outside area hanging off.
