Maples Hotel

The guys that own this lovely hotel are absolutely fantastic hosts , everything was explained clearly , with plenty of tips on what to do around the area . We got a room upgrade with balloons and banners and bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday . Room was very spacious with tea coffee making facilities in a kitchenette with fridge freezer , bathroom was spacious with a double shower . All was fresh and very very clean . I could not fault our stay just a shame we had to cut our visit short due to an emergency at home . Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to friends . Lovely friendly people who ran the hotel. Couldnt have done enough for us. Hotel clean ,bed very comfy tea and coffee available in the room. Food was lovely nice cooked breakfasts. Would definately recommend !!! Fab value for money! Didnt get chance to say thank you to the land lady who was lovely so if she reads this thank you making it a lovely stay for us 😊 x

The location was a tram ride away to the piers. Tram was quite expensive had to keep buying a day saver ticket as the hotel was a 20 minute walk into the town. If we wanted to go back to the hotel to get ready for the evening and go out again the Trams only worked til 11.30/midnite so then had to pay for taxi as well to bring us back for the night.

Apartment balcony was beautiful with view of the sea and illuminations outside. We worried the room would be cold but it was lovely and toasty even with the balcony doors open. Breakfast was lovely, everything we needed, and owners (mother and son team) were friendly and helpful. I asked for the room to be dressed for a birthday and it was beautiful.

Friendly and welcoming. Ideal location, tram stop just across the road. Good value for money and nothing is too much trouble. I asked for an extra pillow at breakfast and by the time we’d finished it was there by our room door. Breakfast perfect start to your day, hot to order.

Noise travels a bit but it’s more about people being more considerate staying there as it’s an older building.

The whole stay was perfection. We parked up right outside the door and were given a lovely welcome. Our apartment room was absolutely stunning. Had everything you could wish for including a magnificent view from the balcony. The breakfasts were great, freshly cooked to perfection. The hotel is in a great location for everything Blackpool has to offer. Would love to stay during the illuminations..

We loved everything!

Enjoyed our stay. The owners were very nice . breakfast was nice. The bed was comfy. The room was ok but didn't really look like the pictures we saw on booking dot com.

We didn't realise it was has far out off Blackpool has it was ,we walked into the centre 3 times took us about 25min ,we caught the tram too £6.20 each way .our shower in our room wasn't very powerful

We just wanted somewhere simple and quiet to stay and thats what we got. The lady who runs it is absolutely lovely, so kind and always made conversation with us. We didnt have the breakfast because we like our lie ins, not once were we disturbed. Shower is small but does what it needs to. Bed was comfortable. We had a sea view room which was lovely. Tram stop almost directly outside so travel is easy! Will happily be back here next year!

Nothing really!

The owners were very welcoming and asked how our previous day was at breakfast each day. They also engaged my Grandsons in conversation about what they had done. The Breakfast was excellent and it was really quiet at night enabling us to get a good night's sleep each night. We can't wait to go back. I would thoroughly recommend Maples Hotel 10/10.

Food excellent.room was spotless.staff very friendly and helpful

Asked for a Seaview which we got unfortunately it was on the top floor and both my partner and myself struggled with the stairs.we should have mentioned this when we booked though.room was a little cold through out the night but radiators were on early enough.

the owners was very good ,hotel was very clean for a old building .room was ok abit small bed comfy pillows abit hard ,intime just needs a bit of painting update ,outside would benifit for a sighn that lights up .we will be going again thanks wayne n joanne.

i would of liked the bar to have been available but infernas they did tell us why it was not .room was still cold even with radiator on maybe update rads at a later date.
