Victoria, is an excellent host! Yado hotel is close to all amenities, within a 10 minute walk to Blackpool tower. The hotel is VERY clean and comfortable. We had a heat wave whilst we was there and Victoria made sure we had a fan in both rooms. The décor is a not to my taste but that really did not matter- the hotel is clean and comfortable. Our double room was small but had everything we needed, including tea and coffee which Victoria asked us if it needed replenishing. However, the kids(older children) room was large and airy. You can hear some noise from the rooms next to you but that is to be expected- nothing that interfered with our stay. There is no breakfast on offer, however, there is a room downstairs that offers a football table and a sofa with a TV and better WIFI signal, according to my children. For families, this is an excellent place to stay, everything is within walking distance but far enough to not be surrounded by noise. Just down the road from Yado we discovered a place called Peek a Booze which offers an excellent breakfast- I highly recommend this for your breakfast and evening meal as it is freshly cooked at a good price. Victoria, we will be back and thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel was very well maintained and clean. The room no6 and ensuite was lovely and clean and spacious. The bed was really comfortable. We was pleased we had tea coffee and kettle in room. there was loads drawers and hangers for clothes. great all round

There was only one little mirror in the room and it was quite high up. would benefit from a full length one. i would also change the sealant around the base of shower as its coming away and makes it look unclean

stayed with my husband and 2 kids (5 and 5 months). the hotel was very clean and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. the location was brill and was very close to where we needed to be and not far from the sea front. the room was big and spacious and the bathroom was super clean and big.

only got 1 pillow :( I found it so difficult to sleep with such a flat pillow, i ended up having to fold my coat and put it under my pillow. other than this, it was great, but the stay would have been so much better if we have 2 pillows each :)

Ideally located for us,5 minutes walk to the tower.very clean and comfy beds.The whole room was spotless with a huge bathroom compared to others.The gentleman on reception was helpful explaining where the nearest car park was and we even got to check in a little bit earlier.great stay and would definitely be going again in the future.Nice to find a clean comfortable place in Blackpool.Thanks.

Was nice & clean, beds were comfortable,lovely sized bathroom. Shower was amazing 🤩

Door to bathroom from bedroom was a foldable door, which wouldn’t shut properly so no privacy, so just left it open & warned each other when going loo. Bedroom door didn’t shut properly so had to bang it, because was coming in late felt guilty if disturbed other guests, but think they were all there for same festival so hopefully didn’t wake them.

Bed was comfortable.clean and nice size The room was bigger than I thought would be for advertised small Room.. The teas and coffees in the room where top brands. There was a nice size TV but we didn't watch it. Bathroom clean with clean towels and shower gel The staff where helpful and friendly, offering to take my case up to the room on arrival. When we left they let us leave the cases in the hotel while we looked around Blackpool before our afternoon Train.. It's also near the bars and the sea front and not far off the railway station and north pier And as a bonus,. They are returning a phone that I left in the room,

Didn't want to leave

The room was really good for what I have paid! They provided kettle, Coffee and tea powders, Sugar, Milk, shower gel, towels. If you want you can make use of microwave, dining table, wash basin and other kitchen utensils available in the ground floor which is common to everyone.

Only thing I felt is that the duvet cover and bed sheet looks old. It's time to buy new ones.

Host, Victoria made us very welcome and moved her own car so we could park outside the hotel. Her husband was around when we came in from seeing a show and was very pleasant too. Hotel just close enough to be handy to walk into town.

Board outside the hotel advertised a bar but was not obvious to us. View from bedroom windows left a lot to be desired.

Everything, the lady who runs it was absolutely lovely, the room was nice and cosy , warm all throughout the night , everything was in there you needed I'll definitely be back again ❤️

The only thing I would say for someone checking in so later on in the evening maybe we should of been allowed a little more time throughout the next day instead of having to be out for 10am this didn't let my trip down though or my stay.

The Gentleman who checked us in was very polite and helpful. Took us to our our room helping us with our luggage. The room was clean and adequate for our needs, bathroom was to a high standard. The common room was a nice touch with a large tv and a pool/air hockey table and a foosball table, and other activities to keep the kids occupied on a rainy day. The lady who was there on checkout was also very polite who also offered to help with our luggage. All in all a pleasant stay.

These points are more for REFERENCE only and not CRITICISM. The double bed was uncomfortable for us but that’s not to say that it will be uncomfortable for others. Not much storage space in our room for a family of 3 for clothes if we were staying for more than two nights. Not much parking in the area at peak times as all the car parks are full, but this isn’t really the fault of the hotel. But these minor faults would not stop us from staying again.
