Sandford Promenade

Stayed at the Sandford Hotel for 7 nights, with a sea view. Our host mark was excellent, he went above and beyond and really made us feel at home. The best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting in all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Blackpool. Mark and the team made our stay comfortable and was always available if we ever needed clean fresh towels, toilet paper or our bins emptying. The sea view rooms are quite small, but that’s just how the buildings are and it didn’t cause us any issues. You have tea/coffee facilities, a hanging rail, storage drawers, a ceiling fan, a small tv, a very comfy bed with an extra duvet and ofcourse an amazing view of the sea! The shower was very good, up until the second to last night when our trip was ending.. due to road works which caused our shower to not produce enough water to have a shower which was in no fault of the hotel. I spoke to mark who instantly rectified the issue and gave us another key for a room with a working shower. The breakfast was superb. It’s served between 9:00-10:00 and you have a variety of choices. From full breakfast, toast, cereal, breakfast bars, biscuits, coffee/tea & juice. The breakfast is well cooked and you always leave the dining room with a full stomach! The hotel also has a bar which has always been open, they also have a pool table and lounge. The hotel is in a perfect location, in the centre between south pier and central pier. It takes roughly 15 minutes to walk down towards the pleasure beach and roughly 15 minutes to coral island… they also have a tram stop across the road from the hotel so it doesn’t get better than that really! Overall this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Blackpool, I would highly recommend this hotel above most hotels in Blackpool. Mark and his team couldn’t do any more for us and we will definitely be returning again in the future. - Tyler & Natalie

Had a wonderful stay at Sandford Promenade and would definately choose this hotel as a future accomodation when we visit Blackpool again! Mark was a very kind and welcoming host and made sure everything was as desired. Breakfast was excellent and the location of the hotel is ideal as it's situated right between the Pleasure Beach/South Pier and the city centre. There is also a tram station right outside the hotel. The room was clean and well maintained with a brand new ensuite bathroom.

Water pressure in the showerhead was on the lower side, however more than enough to take a proper shower.

Weekend away We arrived early evening on the Friday, we were greeted by the owner Mark. He could not have done anymore for us, he was very polite and helpful, we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was really nice, small but enough room for me and my friend. The room was spotless and we had a brandnew shower room which was also spotless. We were told the door will be open until 3am, but if we wanted to come back later, we could just give Mark a call and he would open the door. The reception/bar area was really nice and felt homely esp the massive sofas. In the morning we went for breakfast, breakfast is 9-10 am, not too early. Breakfast was amazing, there was a massive selection of cereals, pastrys and fruit bars aswel as a fry up. My friend is vegan and everything was catered for, Mark got some veggy sausages in especially. All of the other guests were friendly and although there were small children there, it was really quiet. All in all our stay was great, and the location was perfect. I would like to say a massive thankyou to Mark for everything and we will defo be returning soon. I would recommend this hotel. 100%

loved how welcoming mark and his family were as well as the communal space was stunning for Christmas so much to do even if you didn’t go out. Such an amazing location directly opposite a tram stop making it easy to get to either side of the promenade. breakfast was amazing and always offered more if needed. (though we didn’t need it as already gave us so much amazing portion sizes!) The rooms I’ve heard people say are small but was perfect for what we were looking for as got an ocean view every morning!

Just returned home from the Sandford. A small BandB. Mark and Nicky cant do enough for the guests but not intrusive in any way. It was my Husband’s birthday during our stay and they put up birthday banners for him.Even charging my scooter for me. Yes the breakfast is fantastic and cooked to perfection. Yes Mark even the toast. Our room was a little small but it didn’t matter because we spent little time in it. The lounge is lovely and comfy. The bar well stocked and very reasonably priced. We will hopefully be returning in the near future . Thank you so much for making our short break fantastic.

Nothing at the Sandford .

What a find! Wonderful hotel run by Nikki and Mark, who are the most welcoming, friendly and accommodating hosts. Delicious breakfast and so much of it! The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. The location is perfect. Right in between the Tower/Central Pier and the Pleasure Beach. There is a tram stop right across the road. We will definitely be going back.

We had a Seaview room, which was a little on the small side. Next time we'll go for a larger room at the back. Even so, this did not take anything away from our stay.

Such a warm and welcoming family. As this was a very last minute booking after refusing to stay at our previously booked hotel, our room wasn't ready when we got there, which was more than okay as there was a lovely bar in the hotel for us to wind down in for 10 mins for a good pint. Very nice and clean room, gorgeous view with free WiFi! Lovely cooked breakfast. Location was perfect and a decent walk from Blackpool's main attractions. Turned our holiday from hell to heaven. Nothing is too much for everyone at the Sandford. 100% will be staying there again when we go back.

Wasn't a massive fan of the parking, or leaving our car keys with them while we went about our days(this does make sense when you see the style of car parking available at the property), but wasn't difficult to over come as there was plenty of parking across the promenade.

Everything! from the moment we arrived we were greeted by the owner, he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! the staff especially the owner were so friendly and it really felt like a home away from home, the parking is brilliant as was the breakfasts! we stayed for 2 nights and can’t wait to go back, this is by a mile the best Blackpool hotel I have stayed in, the rooms are so clean and modern and the beds so comfy.

the hotel was very lovely and very clean the cleaner did a really good job of keeping the bedrooms and lounge area tidy, all the staff are so welcoming and polite I will 100% come to this hotel when I come to Blackpool again.

Great location and the best family hotel that I’ve ever stayed in Blackpool. the owners couldn’t of been more helpful and more friendly. Breakfast was 10/10 they went above and beyond to make everything to suit us. We had a sea view room which was amazing rooms were super clean and the beds were super comfy and had a fan in the room which was well needed in this heat! Great selection of drinks from the bar which kept us going at night time after walking around Blackpool all day. The owners work very hard and take pride in their hotel which certainly doesn’t go unnoticed as most of the other guests come back regularly. Great hotel all in all.
