The Wilton Hotel

Perfect little break for myself and my two children (11,7). Warm, friendly welcome from the owner, who was very helpful and accommodating. Delicious breakfast and lovely clean room - very comfortable beds, best night sleep we've had in a while infact! We will definitely be returning, for longer next time! My daughter (7) especially loved the lego box and selection of games in the lounge, which allowed for 5 minutes peace for mum :) the owner was also kind enough to allow us to leave our car at the hotel for a couple of hours after we had checked out as we had booked to go swimming before our journey home which was a godsend! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😊

The only 'bad' part of our stay was having to leave and wishing we'd booked for a longer stay 😞

All good really for what we needed. Host friendly and welcoming, very good cosy bar area, and breakfast room looked nice though we didnt get up in time for breakfast. Good value I think for price.

Some minor points not a major concern. Bathroom tiny but fine. Toilet needed a closer clean in my room but everywhere else was fine and clean. Breakfast a 1 hour slot from 8am to 9am but would have expected say 7/8am to 10am these days. Check out 10am but most hotels I go to are 11am these days.

initially I noticed that it was the only hotel that had some seating outside, was nicely decorated and had the vibe of a proper British hotel/b&b. We were surprised how immaculate the rooms were, everything looked freshly decorated and nothing was out of place. lovely carpet and fresh towels etc. Josh our host was communicative all the way up, and when we got there which was only 10 minutes before they stopped checking in he was still happy and 100% welcoming and professional! I witnessed him going above and beyond for all guests. oh yeah and it’s got a cool little bar with a pool table! we didn’t use it but if we’d stayed longer I’m sure we would have 🤣 10/10 value for money.

The hotel is located in the middle of Blackpool tower and pleasure Beach so it was quick and easy to reach attractions. Hotel owned by 2 loveley guys. A big shout out to josh who hosted us all weekend. Always helpful and at hand if needed him. Room was loveley and warm , clean and very comfy. Breakfast was included in out stay which was very tasty.

The staff were fantastic and friendly, breakfast was perfect every morning. The room was perfectly clean and had all the amenities we needed for the stay. The location couldn't have been better as it was right on the front with a tram stop no more than a 5 minute walk from door to stop. We will 100% be staying with the Wilton again.

We would've loved to have been able to chill in the bar area but as it was out of season it was closed. I understand completely but it would have been great if we could've used it as a sitting room even without the use of the bar. Otherwise there was nothing we could complain about.

There was not one part of this hotel we did not like specifically the whole place was class the staff were exceptional out standing through out our stay most welcoming place i have been yet would advise any one to try it great value clean tidy and wholesome the beds were super soft i had a single room the basic and it was spot on all the others had double rooms and every one says the beds rooms and facilities in each room where great

There was nothing we didnt like about this place at all if you can find a fault with the place then u lack brain cells you cannot find faults with it

Lots of parking at hotel but you have to reverse down a tight ally way so you either need a small car or be a really good driver 😂 showers were small but sufficient for a weekend away, no soap in rooms so bring your own and the breakfast is pretty small so if you have a big appetite you may need a snack to keep you going thought out day but very good food!

Staff extremely friendly and welcoming, great well stocked bar and cheap too, lots of games, pool table ect to keep you busy of an evening, breakfast really tastey too. Comfortable rooms and all nice an clean! Would deffo stay here again the people just make this hotel 🙈

The hotel is very clean and the rooms have everything you need. Secure entrance allows you to come and go as you please with no fear of being locked out. Bench area at the front of the hotel is ideal to sit in the sun before breakfast.

The hotel is not suitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs as no rooms are on the ground floor.

Absolutely lovely hosts who were willing to go above and beyond for their residents. It really felt like a home from home experience and one which we definitely be repeating soon. We stayed in room 12 which was a room for 4 ( 1 double and 2 single beds.) The room was of a fabulous size and was also very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was served between 8 and 9 and had a good varied selection of alternatives aswell as all being freshly prepared. We are actually sad to have to be leaving this morning but will definitely reccomend this guest house to others. Thank you for a fabulous stay Josh and Chris. We will definitely return soon 😁

The bar was unfortunately not open due to an electrical fault but all facilities within the bar area were still available to use e.g. pool table, dart board and children's games. You could also bring in your own alcohol and use the tables so this was not a problem atall.

The location is great, only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the bed we stayed in was very comfortable. We were also able to park our car there overnight and I enjoyed the breakfast the following morning. The staff here also very accommodating, they were very happy to help me in everything I asked for, so thank you :)

There wasn’t many downsides at all, I would say the rooms could have been a little cleaner. nothing major, just noticed a few hairs in the shower and could have put more toilet rolls in the room. Other than that, it was ok.
