Sunny Days Hotel

The manager greeted us on arrival and allowed us park on the car park from 11.40. The checking in process was very organised as he was organising the car park when we arrived and making sure people were not going to be blocked in if only staying for 1 night like we did. He was very polite and helpful. The room we stayed in was nice and spacious (family room with sea view), clean and beds were comfortable. Good location.

The fact we stayed on the sea front, we could hear traffic until the early hours including the clip clopping of the horse and carriages but this is not something that can be helped and a sacrifice you'll have to make if you like a good location.

This hotel is easily the best hotel I've stayed at in Blackpool, and one of the best I've stayed at in general, arriving at the Hotel around 3:30 and still plenty of parking left, which is a huge thing for me as I didn't want to leave my car where I couldn't see it. Checking in was easy and meeting the owner got us off to a good start as he couldn't do enough for us, the room, was really clean, and had everything we needed (bed, kettle, tea, coffee, milk, wardrobe, desk ect.) The bathroom was also very clean and the shower was high pressure (which was a shock as usually hotels let me down with low lressure showers), the room had an amazing sea view, and despite being on the promenade the room was quiet. During the week we ran into the owner again who would always ensure we were okay, and ask how the room was, and if he could get us anything else, genuinely felt like he couldn't do enough for us, we also used the bar in the hotel, which was nice and quiet, with a pool table and a good selection of drinks, the bar staff also couldn't do enough for us. Closer to the end of our stay, when we spoke with the owner, I had asked about the negative reviews that have been left, and he was more than happy to explain to us about them, and personally, I don't belive the negative reviews are a true reflection of this hotel or its staff and judging by pictures left on reviews (especially the one of the stairs) are old, especially because the stairs are no longer carpeted 😂, In short, for what we payed, for a Monday to Friday, for a sea view room, perfectly placed between South Pier and Blackpool centre, for really nice staff and a down to earth owner, this hotel is worth so much more than what we payed and we can't wait to return next year, if your thinking about this hotel, go for it, you won't regret your choice.

The property is nice, very clean has all amenities needed for a lovely break away. The bar area is lovely with games room for kids which my kids enjoyed. All drinks from alcohol to soft drinks fantastically priced. The rooms are clean, the beds are the comfiest we have ever slept in and the added bonus is there is no noise from around 10pm onwards making it the perfect place for families. We will definitely return to this hotel now that we have found it. The sea view rooms are the BEST to wake up in. We didn’t have breakfast as my son has autism and is very fussy but it was fairly priced. Watching the sunset over the sea from the hotel room was amazing too.

We booked into sunny days for three nights for my daughters birthday, the hotel owner was brilliant, he couldn't have done anymore for us, was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel room was clean and tidy, with enough space for us all, can't fault it at all. Hotel owner also gave us information on Blackpool Promenade as to the best places to visit. We all throughouly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to sunny days if we go to Blackpool pool again"

The staff were friendly and helpful, the front of house was very presentable and the location is excellent offering free parking which is quite rare in Blackpool.Also they offer a pay later scheme which I have found to be an excellent help especially during the current climate.

The room could have done with a bit more of a thorough clean as there was still old chips on the floor from previous guest. However general cleanliness was still good.

We have never stayed here before, however we would recommend to anyone this is a brilliant place to stay. The view was great looking out towards the sea. The bed and pillows was lovely and comfortable. The shower was always working great hot or cold however you like it. The place itself was clean and tidy, great positioning on the sea front. The people who own it are there 24/7 and are always happy to help. Very friendly and welcoming. A+++++ place

Nothing I loved my stay

The location was brilliant being in between central and south shore and the staff were very pleasant at all times we were made feel very welcome also the beds were so comfortable and cozy

They don’t offer any breakfast at all except on Sunday’s, I felt if there was at least some self serve cereal and toast with tea, coffee or fruit juice available that would’ve made our stay that little bit better

Fantastic hotel! I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The manager is so friendly and does everything he can to ensure that your stay is a good one. Nothing is too much trouble. Perfect location, fabulous bar, family friendly, clean and comfiest beds ever! Please ignore all negative reviews, you will not find a better hotel, I certainly won't be booking anywhere else in future!

Coming home

Staff friendly and made the whole experience fun.

Just a few things, the toilet lid slid off the pins holding it to the seat as the seat wasnt fixed properly to the toilet, there was a strong smell of what cleaning agent used to clean the rooms inside the cups so had to rinse them out before use. Other than that I can't fault the room it was a lovely overnight stay.
