Evan & Tina were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them, very accommodating and professionally run. Great room exceptionally clean and the whole experience from start to finish orchestrated to perfection, at the risk it being fully booked next time we visit Blackpool we would highly recommend The Fame Guest House to all and we wish Tina and Evan all the best and thank them for the great job that are doing.

Nothing to not like. just a great experience from start to finish, not your normal Blackpool Guest House, we usually stay at 4 star hotels and we honestly rate The Fame and its owners as achieving 4 stars.

We had room 2 with a bay window overlooking the front, excellent room can even see the tower

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like

We were attending a gig at the nearby Waterloo Bar (walking distance). We had room 2 which has a seaview for 2 nights. Could not fault it! The room was spotless, lovely and warm with a sea view you can look at from the really comfy bed. Lots of coffee pods for the coffee machine. Owner was on hand to park us up outside the front of the hotel. Bargain price for the location. Velvet coaster spoons nearby for breakfast. Thanks Evo & Tina for a lovely stay! Would defo stay again!

`Shower not very strong but can't be helped in a property that size. I would prefer kettle just because I find it easier than sussing out those coffee machines.

Location was spot on, away from night life noise and only 15/20 mins walk to the Tower. Plenty of tea/coffee and extra milk etc was given on request. The shower in our room had a back-to-front dial which we didn't know until 2nd day, however, we used shower in another room. Hosts Evan and Tina were great, very welcoming and always there to help. Thank you for adding to my partner's birthday celebration 🥳 much appreciated. Bella 🐕was an added attraction and is lovely natured. Would stay here again but in a bigger room. The refurb is something to look forward to and we wish you both all the best with that. Lovely atmosphere which comes from great hosts 😊

Our room was a little cramped, however, we had a sea view with a table and chairs to enjoy the view and a cupa. No sockets near bed but not an issue unless you want to charge phone while in bed, not an issue for us. Plenty of sockets located other side of room.

Great location on the seafront between Central and South Pier. Plenty of parking available. Accommodated a fairly late check-in (9.30pm), which was appreciated. Helpful and responsive owners - provided extra milk on request to make tea in the room. Bed was comfortable and room fairly warm with an additional heater to use when necessary.

Room small and not much light - window faced onto another building. Only two plug sockets by the table for the room, and only one light over the bed worked.

The room was beautifully decorated everything was themed like a French room the coffee mugs matched the wall paper which was a touch I really liked. Bed was really comfy shower was just pure heaven specially as was warm. The owners were so friendly an was able to have a chat with them will def be trying to stay if rooms available when I go next

Great prom location, on site parking, friendly staff. Room, and bed in particular, was clean and comfortable, made to feel welcome, owner was very helpful. Facilities were clean and perfectly adequate. Great value for money and would deffo return and use again. A nice wee find and a perfect base to have. Enjoyed our stay.

No hot water from tap for hand washing till about 8am but wasn’t a massive issue as likely most guests will lie in till well past that time anyway, and shower was electric so could still wash.

perfect location. welcoming accommodating staff who came out to greet us upon parking and our birthday banners up for my daughter. comfortable beds/bedding. nice atmosphere - always had nice relaxing music playing in the reception/bar area.

nothing. our view out the window wasn’t spectacular (being in a middle of the building room) but I bet the front rooms were being on the promenade/sea front

What a hidden GEM. The room was beautiful & absolutely spotless with everything you need. A fantastic coffee machine in the room, the bed was so comfortable and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. I also loved the sea view. I would HIGHLY recommend this Hotel to family and friends. Cant wait to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
