The location is very convenient. It was a happy accident To book a room here as I normally book hotels. However, I booked this at the very last minute as all the hotels in the area were full. What can I say, it is a home away from home. It was incredibly good for my whole family. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming. Everything was perfect and I was extremely glad that the shower was controllable and had the power I find lacking in some other establishments. I now know that I love the charm and familiarity of staying in a clean, tidy and immaculate homely environment. My kids loved the garden and seeing/petting the lovely horses and guinea pig

We'd read the reviews before we booked, so knew what to expect. And we weren't disappointed. Denise and Stuart were very friendly and engaging and made us feel like returning guests rather than first timers. Due to a very filling meal the night before neither my wife or I felt we would be able to eat the full English breakfast, settling instead for cereals and toast. A bottomless coffee pot and home made bread made for a refreshing change. However a fellow guest did have the full English and I have to say it looked really good. The room was great, the bed really comfortable and we both enjoyed a great nights sleep. With family living in Boston we visit fairly regularly, although we rarely stop over. However as and when the need arises in the future, we will definitely be returning to Westwood Lodge.

Easy to find, very clean and comfortable. Stuart and Denise were great hosts. Breakfast was as good, if not better than we've had elsewhere with more expensive stays. Heinz baked beans!! Dining room is not huge, but there was a family who wanted to get in there nice and early, we and our friends wanted a later breakfast, so suited all. Ideally would make a nice base for a 3/4 night break. Away from the towns.

Blackout blinds or dark curtains would have cut out the light in the room. But it would go against the all white (light colour) of the room. How you get round it I don't know.

I have lost count of the times I have stayed at Westwood Lodge. I work as a consultant and have been working in the Boston area since June 2022, the Westwood Lodge is my go to place. Denise & Stuart are great hosts who have the right balance between engaging with guests but respecting your personal space and time, the room has always been immaculate and comfortable and the whole experience has a homely feel about it. Denise’s home cooked breakfast (with homemade bread) is fantastic and always sets me up for the day. I look forward to my next visit as it does feel like ‘Home from Home’.

The hosts were so lovely and were very welcoming. I would recommend staying at this B&B. The room was very good, very clean with en-suite/shower and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was excellent.

We’re used to a kingsize bed so found it a bit of a squeeze. It depends what you’re used to really. The friends we travelled with didn’t mind the double at all.

Outside appearance was clean and tidy and well maintained, upon entering building was a fresh pleasant odour and a friendly greeting from Stuart and his wife ( cannot remember her name). After introductions we were shown our room although not a big room it had en-suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe, the Plus side it was clean tidy and again smelt fresh. There were plenty of tea/coffee making facilities and it had fantastic view of the well maintained garden. Breakfast, the dining room had a grand selection of choices, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts a selection of cereal and of course the “full English” complete with homemade bread and a selection of jams/marmalade’s. All in all an exceptional stay Stuart and his wife were always willing to help and offer advice and had a good local knowledge about where to go and places to eat. Definitely would stay here again. Could find no fault

Quiet location yet close to the town. Lovely family home - superb finishes, furnishings, spaciousness and level of comfort. The bed was particularly comfortable and having a sofa in the family room was really good. Good shower and facilities. Pleasant, spacious breakfast room. Friendly hosts who made us feel very safe, welcome and relaxed. 1 small problem quickly resolved with minimal fuss. Excellent breakfast and service, particularly given our very particular dietary requirements, including a vegan, and 3 vegetarians, one of whom has a serious fruit allergy. Home baked bread!

The heating wasn't on in our bedroom when we arrived in the early evening. Given that it's over the garage it had chilled quickly. However, it quickly warmed up once we had asked for the heating to be turned on.

We had an enjoyable stay at Westwood Lodge, our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The house is large and spacious, a nice sized bedroom with a comfortable bed, and cleanliness wise everywhere was spotless. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereals and a first class cooked breakfast with a plentiful supply of tea! We would definitely return if we were in the area.

From arriving at the property first impressions said it all from the welcome from Stuart and Denise. We were made to feel very welcome, the cleanliness of the property was 100%! The room was extremely comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities on hand, toiletries provided …what more could we ask of😊 The breakfast was exceptional and so much choice … We will definitely return and most certainly will highly recommend the Westwood Lodge! The Hosts, Denise and Stuart were friendly and very attentive. We arrived late in the evening and offered suggestions for our evening meal and laid the table and cleared away afterwards. They offered us the use of their fridge and microwave. They catered for my dietary requirements (Vegan); even changed the ingredients in the bread that they made, just for me. My Husband had the cooked breakfast which he enjoyed very much. We enjoyed the chats we had with Denise and Stuart. My husband and I agreed that this was the best place we had stayed in. The property was well looked after, decorated beautifully and was spotlessly clean. The room was a good size with all the usual amenities, a large shower and a comfy bead. We slept very well. We would happily recommend this to our friends and relatives. Thank you, Denise and Stuart for a very enjoyable stay.
