Very clean and well kept within the bedrooms, nothing was too much and each request I made was met with positive attitudes and smiles. My son and I were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I would gladly go back again, the food was very nice and came quickly although there were several other people there when we ordered. There is a limited menu, so I had the Korma, rice and naan bread both nights and my son had chicken nuggets and chips. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and up to the standard of mainstream Hotels so for 120 pounds for 2 nights I was pleasantly surprised!

I would perhaps have liked an option for a cold fruit juice in the morning as the bar was closed - and maybe a cheeky dessert to satisfy my sweet tooth at night. But other than this there was nothing that was umpleasent about the stay at all!

Staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean. We had a great nights sleep in a large comfortable bed. Room was lovely and warm too. We've stayed previously and it was nice to see the bar open during our stay this time round. Also a great selection of drinks available. The self check in instructions were very clear and concise with the room key in a lock box and code sent over before arrival. The bar area had a gas fire which was so cosy to sit in front of with a glass of wine.

It’s no that accident happen it’s what you do after! We had no shower Chloe went over and above to sort the problem. Although the problem was not fixed we have been offered an extra night. The place and Boston are so nice we will come back.

Food OMG beef and mushroom pie made me want to come back (this is 3rd time), it’s delicious pub food prices Michelin quality food 😍👍🏆 The bed quality and comfort- I thought Premier Inn nailed it with Hypnos bed but this is quality and if I could take the bed and the pie home LUSH !!! 💤💤

It was a surprise to find that the check in was unmanned. However, I received a text with information on how to operate the key safe and it was fine.

on a cold night Room wax freezing Cold could of put heater o. for us prior to arrival at 9.00pm

Although it was a self check in service, this was communicated very well and the staff were extremely helpful on the phone. Rooms were great, very clean and beds extremely comfortable. Ample parking which is always a bonus.

We loved our stay at the Poachers. It was a last minute booking but the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable and we had all of the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay again!

TV tiny, no space to hang / dry bath towel, hot water came out of cold tap?

Cracking little pub / hotel. Nice pint, food was ok. Will be my regular for Boston now.

Close to the road, but rooms are away so no noise and it wasn't busy.
