The Leagate Inn

The inn itself is just lovely, very authentic with lots of original features. Lovely comfortable chairs and a very large outdoor space. Very well kept gardens. The rooms are spacious and the decor is lovely.. The twin room is on the ground floor so great if you have mobility issues, has a huge bathroom with a walk in shower. We had a lovely evening meal and the breakfast was tasty, fresh and plentiful. What makes the whole experience special has to be the friendly, warm, attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and can't wait for our next visit.

After a traumatic journey the warm welcome we received relatively late at night was very much appreciated. Our room was perfect, the breakfasts & evening meal were faultless. Fabulous accommodation, friendly atmosphere & nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money. I was travelling with my 8 year old grandson who was made to feel very welcome.The owner even drove us to our next accommodation when my car wasn’t repaired in time, an act of kindness that we were hugely grateful for.

The only thing I would have liked was a plug socket next to the bed, not a deal breaker but these days we always seem to have things that need to be plugged in overnight.

A lovely pub/hotel with roaring fires and a warm welcome. Friendly staff and a nicely styled bedroom with a fantastic rain shower.

Disappointed at breakfast to appear to have been forgotten, we did arrive with 30 mins to spare but waited 45 mins for food. Top tip, pre book taxis, if required, well ahead of your visit. Acquiring one on the day is simply impossible. Tried all 4 locally to no avail, midweek! Perhaps a courtesy coach for guests in the immediate area would be an idea for the future, with the possible positive outcome of expanding your repeat customer base.

The bedroom was lovely - very tasteful and clean with nice view over the garden. The bed was super comfy and the bed linen was good quality. The hospitality tray was well-stocked and it was nice to have bottled water in addition to tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spotless - huge bath, fab towels (and face cloth) and quality complimentary toiletries. We had a great night's sleep! We enjoyed our dinner in the dining area - the food was tasty and the service was excellent.

We were a bit disappointed with the bar area.

Room very spacious and comfortable enough. Both dinner and breakfast were good. Location was perfect for us for a quick visit to aviation museums and the local castles.

The dark decor of the room was a little oppressive. The room looked out over the garden which was pleasant but there was quite a lot of noise from a busy road close by. Felt that the price for breakfast should at least have included tea/coffee which had to be paid separately.

The property was lovely and in a great location as we were visiting family in Woodhall Spa only a few miles up the road , we booked a family room , king suite with garden view and a double room the bedrooms were immaculate, plenty of space to relax with comfy beds and gorgeous bathrooms. The breakfast was great with lots of choice , and we had a meal there on one of the nights and the food we had was amazing , the staff were all very pleasant and helpful .

This Inn is tastefully decorated and has very spacious rooms. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. We were pleasantly surprised as the photos don’t do it justice.

The noise from traffic was noticeable but earplugs were provided in the room so not problem. I was a bit annoyed about having to pay an extra £30 to check in earlier. I was going to a wedding close by and if we could of just got the room key and checked in without going into the room before, I would be happy with that but this wasn’t an option.

Exceptional Inn. Perfect rooms furnished to a high standard, very good food, great selection of drink and helpful, friendly staff. Second time I've stayed here, it could be easy to overlook how effortlessly well it is run. This is a Inn that cuts its own path with confidence.

It's difficult to find genuine fault, I'm sure most determined could but there was nothing wanting for me.

Everything exceeded our expectations, the staff were so warm, friendly and so accommodating. We took our dog, but this did not mean that the accommodation we were given was second rate. The room was amazing,it even provided a dog bed. We would absolutely recommend staying here, we felt as though we had had a spa weekend, thoroughly refreshed and rested. Thank you.

We would have appreciated a radio, or IPhone docking station in the room so that we could listen to Radio 3, or our own music as we do not really like television. That is only an addendum, as everything was wonderful

I was travelling for work in Coningsby, and was booked by the company. Sometimes rooms in pubs are a bit basic and noisy, but the Leagate Inn is definitely not one of these. Very nice pub, seems to have a lot of custom from locals which always bodes well, menu is not the biggest, but the food was really good, and they had a good specials board as well. I ate twice, both meals excellent, all staff were friendly. Room was amazing, clean, nicely decorated, sat on bed for a coule of minutes after getting there, and woke up 2 hours later. Really comfortable.

Couldnt watch come of the TV channels as they kept cutting out, but not a great issue.
