Queenswood Hotel

This is a stunning property, lovingly converted from a much loved family home into an extremely homely, beautifully presented and welcoming Boutique hotel. We absolutely loved every aspect of it. Everything in the hotel is top quality. We had a fabulous room with a big balcony and enjoyed superb views out over the sea and the Grand Pier. We loved the complimentary touches, luxurious bedding and great room accessories (there was everything in the room you could possibly need during your stay). We enjoyed a fabulous, perfectly cooked, high quality breakfast. The owner was super friendly, as were all staff we met, and we loved hearing about the hotel’s history from the time it was built in 1910 to the present day. There is nowhere we would rather have stayed and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we return to Weston-Super-Mare in the future. There is nothing to disappoint in this hotel and everything to love. We can’t recommend the Queenswood Hotel to future guests highly enough.

We loved everything.

The breakfast was good, I couldn't eat it all, but it was tasty. My only criticism about the cleanliness was that I had to get the toilet cleaned again, as I did notice a little bit of something, however, I do have OCD, so everything has to be perfect for me. The bed was super comfortable, but I was very cold at night, as they turned the heating off at night. I was able to stay in the lobby area for an extra bit of time, as I needed to stay for a little bit longer. the owner is super friendly. The price of the room, wasn't the cheapest, however, I do understand, as the cost of living and they are an independent business. If I need to in the future, I would stay here!

Everything was amazing. The location was great, a super quick walk from the beach. The view from our room was so stunning, definitely worth paying a bit extra for to get that sea-view. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was HUGE, and the bathroom was nice and newly refurbed. The breakfast was lovely, the service for it was absolutely incredible, just put us in a great mood for the day. They gave us great recommendations for dinner, and answered my question that I sent online within a few hours. The bar and lounge area were cosy and looked like a nice place to play boardgames on a rainy afternoon. Also, for any queer couples, we experienced absolutely no issues/worries/hassle during our weekend!

This is our second time back as we loved it last time and this time Mum wanted to come along for a break too. She couldn't fault anything and didn't want to go home. We were both upgraded to lovely big rooms. Everything was ideal with plenty of tea/coffee available in the room and the beds are amazingly comfortable and huge. Every room is very individual and each seems to have its own little quirks and we have loved seeing these both times. No run of the mill standard rooms here! Andrew is always very chatty and helpful and the breakfast was very tasty and set us up for the day. We are already planning our next visit!

I have been welcomed by the very friendly owner. He helped me to park my car in safe place and leave it there for another 2 nights. The room I was staying in was specious, with a big bathroom and definitely exceeded my expectations! Comfortable bed, very well stock up with tee, coffee but also snacks bring a smile to my face. When I was going out I have been recommended a few places to go. One of the best hotels I have stayed in, definitely if I will be back in Weston I will be back in that hotel!

Staff were lovely, location great , bed and bedlinen were great, the little extras in the room were a lovely touch, the downstairs was very comfy and if we had stayed longer would have been nice to sit and have a drink at the bar, breakfast was great.

Some of the bulbs needed changing in the room and bathroom as not all were working, a few stains on the carpet by the window and a few places needed touching up, the shower tray round the edges needed a clean.

The room we booked looked great, but we were offered a chance to upgrade to a balcony room (+£10) which had a view, across rooftops, of the bay and pier. We were offered fresh milk (UHT is one of the worst feature of hotels and B&Bs). Miles (Somerset-based) tea & coffee was better than average offerings. 2 comfortable chairs (so many rooms only have one!). Mood lighting in bathroom, great for finding your way around in the night. Thoughtful decor. Spotless. Excellent breakfast – good choice undelivered hot.

This is nitpicking – the toast was delivered to the table before the full english.

Checking in was easy and I found the room had just about everything I could have expected. From my window I had a reasonable view of the beach in the near distance yet still had total privacy with no other properties overlooking the hotel on my side. The room itself was warm enough & the bed was comfortable so I had no problem sleeping with no aches and pains in the morning. Really liked the shower which was very spacious, some I've found difficult to use due to them being on the small side. During my stay I was left alone & didn't have the cleaners knocking on the door to service the room every day which has been an issue at other hotels I've stayed in.

I really can't think of anything. Everything met or exceeded my expectations so I have no valid complaints.

It was a brilliant stay! I recommend it to everyone. The room is clean and has some snacks available. In the bathroom, you can find shampoo, body gel, and hand soap. The bedsheets and towels are clean. It has a great central location and a sea view! Many thanks to the hotel staff for their fantastic service and to the friendly hotel manager, who is always here to help and advise on where to go and what to see. We'll definitely be back!

There was nothing not to like from when we arrived to when we left. We were very kindly given a a room upgrade which overlooked Weston Super Mare Coast line. The room its self was lovely with everything you needed for a wonderful stay and just one thing the bed was amazing. Just as we thought it couldn't get.any better we went for breakfast. OMG it was one of the best breakfast I have ever had and the staff are all so lovely here. We will definitely be back ....Thank you Queenswood for a.lovely stay.
