Loved the room. Very nicely refurbished. We struggled with the heat and were very grateful for the loan of the fan. Comfortable bed. Thank you for the complimentary drinks & coffees and biscuits, etc. Nice quiet location and attractive premises. The breakfasts were nice. A fresh fruit salad would be a welcome addition.

I was disappointed with the evening meal that we had on our first night. Despite quite a few members of staff in attendance, we had to wait a long time for service, and when the meals and drinks eventually arrived, the meals were underwhelming and especially my smaller size fish and chips, the batter was thick and hard and hardly any fish at all. It was a shame.

The location was excellent, parking was easy and there were plenty of tables outside. The room was one of the new ones in front of the car park and it was very tastefully decorated, a good size and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a good size with a large walk in shower. Food was good, we had dinner and breakfast.

The room was very warm and there was no way of cooling it down. In hot weather, a fan should be provided. Wi-Fi code was not given to us on arrival or left in the room and by the time we realised, it was too late to find someone. Staff were friendly but service was slow, especially at breakfast.

Exceptional attention to detail. The room was beautifully decorated, light and airy, very confortable bed with lovely bedding. Great selection of teas and coffees and the mini bar had a selection of good quality drinks and snacks. Enormous shower with lovely shower gel and shampoo. Good hair dryer. Ironing board and iron. TV with netflix and radio. Really good breakfast.

Everything was perfect but if I had to find something I didn't like it would be the fact that the car park was right outside our room. It didn't really create a problem but it spoilt a bit the general beautiful atmosphere of the place.

There was monbana hot chocolate, a cafetiere and ground coffee, which made the offerings feel very premium. The room was comfortable, the linen clean and soft, and the shower was very large. And there was a carafe of milk in the fridge! Even a dog bowl with a small bottle of dog wash in it for people with dogs. An amazing stay!

Lots of flies in the hallway leading to the rooms, although I don't think it's something the inn can do anything about. The fridge was very loud in the night, which was ok for me because I have earplugs but my husband had a restless night.

Gorgeous spacious room. Flexible check-out which helped me juggle travel and unexpected work calls. Great dog-friendly local company in the bar / restaurant when I was missing my own. Good wine too. I’d have liked to have stayed longer to explore the local area. Next time!

The food was average and the menu items I’d looked forward to weren’t available. It was also unusually clunky trying to book. I’d called to make sure that I could get dinner and offered to book direct but it was more expensive and a table couldn’t be guaranteed. But I could book a table online and a room cheaper via Booking.com which then got upgraded.

Brekky was yummy. Very fresh and table service. Love that you bring your dogs inside and that they also have a pet menu! Staff were very friendly and great customer service. Loved the whole place. Beautiful comfy room. Very clean and great coffee in room with fresh milk in the fridge, not long life baby caps of milk. Yummy cookies in the room and percolated coffee. A Dyson fan was brought to our room when my hubby was hot and lovely classical music playing quietly in our room on arrival. Definitely will be back.

The pub had a good cosy vibe and a good selection of food. They have a good variety of options for breakfast and all the ones we tried were delicious. The room was very cosy, the lights can be deemed, the bed was really comfortable and the shower has perfect water pressure (which sometimes is not the case). The staff was very lovely, I had to leave for a flight early on my last night and they prepared a too go breakfast for me and left it at the rooms door.

I liked everything, my room was above the pub and during the whole night the noise was never a problem. However during one of the nights we did wake up with some strong talking noise but we assume it was just guests leaving outside or arriving to their rooms inside. Nothing the Swan Inn could control, I wouldn't lower my review because of this, I'm just leaving it as a heads up for future guests and the staff :)

We had been to this lovely pub on a couple of occasions for breakfast (yes, excellent) and lunch, but this was a first for an overnight stay. Dinner was super - very tasty, good portion size, locally sourced. Although we live a long way away, the Swan is just 15 minutes from Bristol Airport, which makes it a really great location for meeting/dropping off/getting an early start. The room was furnished like a beautiful boutique hotel: extremely comfortable and surprising quiet given the bedroom was over the pub itself. Will definitely be back.

Really can't fault anything here.

The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary items (don't miss the prosecco, as we did) were very welcome. The cooked breakfasts were delicious too, although a bowl of meusli wouldn't have gone amiss.

The dinners were pretty good too, although the mains we chose were both off. One was veggie and only left the veggie burger and the other was a fish dish which only left fish and chips. In the end, the mains we chose were very tasty, as was the dessert, but a little more choice (veggie and fish especially) would be appreciated.

Excellent, spacious room with good facilities, including mini-bar. Spotlessly clean with a very comfy bed. Amazing value for money and express check-in/out very useful. Free welcome Prosecco, and beer was a nice touch, as was the choice of teas and filter coffee in the room. Pub was cozy and food both at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and well trained. Location would be perfect for touring the area or walking in the Mendips. Close to Bristol Airport.

Nothing, it was all excellent and exceeded our expectations.
