Great breakfast, charming, helpful, staff. Nice feel throughout. Welcoming, everyone seems friendly, guests and staff. Comfortable bed. Panoramic views if on the front.

Faded grandeur is pleasant, until it turns a bit tatty in a few places.

EXCELLENT location and dedicated staff. Initially I was disappointed with check in as I was unwilling to accept room on floor 3 and 4 as the corridors on both floor looked dismal and ilkept with the rooms no better. Floor 1 and 2 were welcoming and the rooms very much better. I stayed on the 2nd floor. Room was well appointed, spacious, very clean, comfortable and amazing value. Breakfast was excellent, buffet breafast.

The 3rd and 4th floor. Lack of hot meals / snacks during the day

family attending on different dates and we were able to reserve a large table for breakfast, so we could all sit together for our birthday

after booking directly a superior family room for adults and children on checking in we were expected to pay extra for beds for the children and then after questioning about it had to pay additional cost for breakfast after them already being on a bed and inclusive breakfast rate. then during our stay, when we had already paid for 3 rooms, 3 lots of car parking charges. my son was challenged about paying for the children's breakfasts again! luckily my husband overheard the conversation and was able to step in.

Friendly staff. Food was good, both breakfast and dinner. Plenty of parking, cannot imagine the carpark would ever be full. Nice public rooms.

Empty soap dispensers in bathroom and only a few tissues in tissue box. Reception said these are replaced when empty but that doesn't work when you're having a shower and there's no shower gel. Should kept topped up all the time. Didn't appear to be a wine list and we had to pay for the bottle of wine we had at the bar. That seems a little unprofessional.

The location was close to the Grand Pier (which is currently closed),and the view over the beach at sunset was quite nice. The staff were young and very helpful, for instance, in recommending nearby restaurants. The building itself was a grand old pile and must have been, once upon a time, quite a great place to stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and functioned well. The breakfast was good, with mostly standard fare.

Our room was small, but not tiny. The decor was very plain, and one got the impression that some renovation was in order, not only in the rooms, but in the public spaces.

I loved the huge comfortable room with high ceiling and fantastic view over the whole bay. All the staff I saw worked very hard and were brilliant, lovely kind people. I took my mother who uses a wheelchair and the staff were very helpful to her. The domestic lady also came to my assistance when I needed help. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. I liked the interesting photo display of historic Weston. The buffet style breakfast was superb. Lots of hot food with plenty of choice. Perfect for big eaters or a smaller appetite in a big restaurant area. We used the bar for evening food and this was very good value and very tasty. The gammon was probably the best I have ever tasted. Thank-you everyone for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely return asap and I consider it well worth cost.

Located within a stones throw of the town centre, beach and pier. Room had a lovely sea view , we checked in early and was able to leave the car in front of the hotel, gentleman on reception kindly gave us the heads up that our rooms would be ready much earlier than expected very much appreciated after our long drive . Loved the old mouldings on the ceiling in the dining which have been kept with the more modern style decoration .

Lift was very small so had to go up as 2x2 lots with luggage. Room was compact and whilst adequate for one night would have appreciated more space if staying longer. Breakfast was hot but quite limited.

The hotel is a beautiful building full of character. Rooms were lovely as were the staff the views from our room was lovely. As it was The FACup Saturday was able to watch it in the lounge bar so a jolly time was had by all

Sorry to say the food was not particularly good the breakfast was great nicely cooked and tasty. The lunch was very nice . But sorry to say the dinner was not very good a real disappointment very odd food put together and pretty basic to be fair. . Such a shame as would love to visit again but food on a holiday is one thing to look forward to. May have to just do bed & breakfast

Check in was quick, my room was on the second floor, there was a lift, but decided to take the stairs as they was not too steep. My room was a single room, which was quite big and had a double bed in rather than a single, there was a bath with overhead shower, which was clean. There was a kettle in the room so was able to make a hot drink and there was a hairdryer in the drawer and in the wardrobe their was a fan and extra pillows if needed. Parking was extra, and cost £6 per night. I didn't have breakfast, so can not leave a comment for this
