Food excellent, staff spot on good choice of ales and a good size food menue and specials board, resturant and bar area all well kept and spotlessly clean big outdoor area to sit out as weather was excellent when we stayed. Bedrooms excellent with massive king size bed also great walk in shower in bathroom.will definitely stay here again on are way down to Cornwall.

Nothing all good

Food was divine. Location very good and loved the fact that dogs are allowed in the pub. Staff very helpful. Large bedroom/ensuite and it was nice to have a bath. Breakfast was also lovely nice selection and choice. Location very good would definetly recommend for food and overnight stay

Room 4 twin beds unfortunately mattresses a bit hard for us I didn't get much sleep. And if you turned over in bed it moved forward then back slightly and banged the wall this was the bed by the window. (Mat for bath needed as they wasn't one) also kettle in room didn't look very clean inside so didnt use it.

Nice large room , immaculate decor , everything nice and clean and very well maintained. Room planning great notably eg both hairdryer and mirror easy to hand , a failing of so many hotels. Superb shower. Breakfast was also excellent and proprieter on hand providing first class service.

Nothing negative ref the room. Parking tight. Location on a fairly busy junction but there was no noise disturbance from the traffic.

The only complaint I have is the curt bordering on rude way one of the cleaners told us that the check out time on here was incorrect and we needed to leave as she had to clean the room. Please change check out time on here if you want your guests out by 10 as one of the reasons we booked it was due to the later check out.

Good menu for evening meal. Excellent full English breakfast cooked to order in a comfortable room served by a very pleasant member of staff. Room was spacious and comfortable with everything that we needed. Hotel situated on the main road with easy access to get to Cheddar where we needed to be the next morning.

I don't have anything negative to say about The Woodborough. Keep doing what you are doing !!!

We arrived on an exceptionally hot day, 2 children and Max (the dog!) after a great but tiring week camping. We stayed at the Woodborough as a stopover on our way home. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful to make our stay as comfortable as possible given the heat! The food was fantastic and the breakfast too. Special thanks too, to the staff member who kindly posted back a loved toy left by one of the children. We would very much recommend the Woodborough for food and accommodation. Thank you!

Breakfast was hot and cooked perfectly. Love the village location. The room was clean and well decorated. The bed was excellent with crisp bedding and very comfortable. The evening meal was also excellent.

Could do with hoovering a bit mor regularly. Coming down to breakfast with food on the floor from the previous night was not very appealing. The stairs were also full of bits when we arrived.

Very good location, helpful staff, lovely breakfast

The room was lovely, spacious and a working TV! The only problem was the mattress which was far too hard for us, but that is really a personal preference. I have arthritic hips so the stairs were a bit of an issue, but I managed. I think maybe grab rails in the shower would be a useful addition in case anyone needs a little help.

our room was very large and had a separate bedroom within it for a third person. it was very clean and nicely furnished with a 2-seater sofa and 2 armchairs, a large tv, kettle and hairdryer. All of the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. The evening meal was excellent as was the included breakfast.

Located on a very busy junction, so noisy at peak times if sitting outside with a drink

It was may second stay in this place ( first time in July 2022) and I hope not he last. For me it was the - close to the Sidcot. school. Excellent cuisine ( The tosty with avocado and eggs for the breakfast - unforgettable . Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms with large comfortable beds . Homely atmosphere . I truly recommend.
