The location to amenities, the beach and pier was excellent, great having access to the pub from the hotel for breakfast in the morning. Room was adequate and bathroom lovely , comfortable beds and spotlessly clean and so glad there was a lift as I have mobility issues. I would stay again.
At the time I stayed there were repairs going on to the roof which we were informed about but it meant we had no view from the window and at night the wind was so fierce that the plastic covering around the scaffolding was rattling and banging all night which resulted in not having much sleep at all

Great location on the beach front. This is a large Wetherspoons over several floors, with a large garden area (watch out for seagulls while eating, though). Food and drinks were available until late - which was handy as we couldn't find an open chip shop in the main town when we left the hotel at 7pm so ended up coming back to eat. Our room was clean and comfortable and unusually had feather pillows and what seemed to be a feather duvet. We had side peeps of the beach. There was a member of staff whose job it was to sit in reception from midnight until the bar reopened. All the staff we spoke to were lovely, and there seemed to be lots of them within the main bar. When we initially left the hotel, in the evening we headed towards the main pier and the streets into Weston. This was a mistake - everything was closed or tired and empty of people. Many of the shops are closed. In the morning we turned right out of the hotel and saw several bars that looked more inviting (we didnt try them though as it was morning). The outdoor seaside pool (Weston Marine Lake) and old pier area were also pleasant to walk around- although it was sunny so the weather definitely helped. The hotel doesn't have parking- if you contact them before you arrive they will send you a list of suggested parking options. One staff member mentioned that it can be worth checking in and asking the hotel.next door if they have a spare space as they offer a good rate. We paid £12 for the Melrose Car Park but probably could have found cheaper parking. Overall we enjoyed our trip to Weston - this hotel is great for a short stay and we would recommend it.
We were surprised and disappointed at how Weston has deteriorated in recent years and how many shops, bars, and facilities were closed in what should be the height of the summer season.

We stayed for a night as we were going to a local festival . On arrival.we were given vouchers for a free breakfast as there was scaffolding outside the room. This was a lovely thoughtful touch even tho the scaffolding when we got into the room didn't completely spoil the sea view. Staff were friendly, helpful and worked really hard. The room was spacious , well decorated and the perfect temperature,. This is the second wetherspoons hotel we have stayed in , and we have been equally impressed with both. We would definitely have a stop here again.
Nothing it was all good

Nice hotel, food availability excellent, location very good.
I was contacted a few days before our visit, by the hotel manager, informing me that as a new lift was being installed we would have to use the stairs and was this a problem? My reply was, jokingly, not a problem as long as we were not on the top floor! I was assured that our room was on the first floor. On checking in we were given room 301, which was on the third floor, about as high up as you can get in this hotel, I said we should be on the first floor, but was told the manager was not available and we could sort it later, obviously once settled in we didn’t bother as we were only there two nights. As we are both over 70 this was not what we were hoping for and took the edge off a nice stay.

The location, the view from the room was fantastic. Comfortable and clean. The staff were amazing and helpful.
If travelling alone with small children it is difficult with a pram. Had to leave my son's pram downstairs due to layout of building. Getting up and down stairs a lot. Understandable with the building layout. Also Can get noisy as our room faced with the outdoor drinking area but quietens down later on. It is a working bar below so small children are fine just expect it to be busy/ lively especially at weekends bank hol etc doesn't effect the hotel stay.

The overall experience was really good, staff were so helpful, room was spotless, with lots of extras in the room, had such a good night's sleep in the bed and had a beautiful sea view from the window. The breakfast in the restaurant, was cooked lovely and tasted really good. Definitely recommend The Cabot Court Hotel.
The only setback is the hotel and restaurant is short staffed, through no fault of their own. They work so hard to still give the customers the best experience they can, which is not an easy task, with the restaurant being so bust sometimes.

Great location, rooms were really good with comfy beds. Nice sea view. Friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and even biscuits. Very nice to see oat milk sachets too. As always with Spoons food and drink is great value for money, great choice with breakfast and refillable hot drinks are always a bonus
The cleanliness downstairs in the pub was not good. The rooms and hotel were very clean but unfortunately not the same story in the pub. Walls had drinks splashes completely covering a wall where we were sat. Cupboards with condiments on we're absolutely filthy underneath which you couldn't miss. That's the only issue in what was a very nice stay. The pub is really busy but that didnt affect the service. Staff are very hard working and really pleasant it's just the cleanliness in the bar that was very noticeably poor. We would definitely return as it was overall really fab.

Great location right on the sea front. I had a lovely big room with a very large and comfortable bed. Room decor was fine, except bathroom. Excellent powerful shower (though above bath). Being above the Weatherspoon's pub didn't cause any problems and there is a separate entrance to the hotel so I didn't have to walk through the busy bar.
The room was quite cold and I couldn't make the room heater work. The en-suite sanitary wear was a little tired, with some staining which could probably have been removed. Staff on check in (who came out of the bar) were not particularly welcoming.

Great location on the sea front, Rooms were very clean, bedding and towels appeared new and good quality, best stocked tea station in your room that we have seen for a long while in a hotel, we had a fabulous sea view. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
It is not a criticism but a FYI - it is an old building with lots of steps so not the easiest to get around for people with mobility problems. staff were very helpful in bringing a mobility scooter in and out and there is a lift on the hotel.

We paid extra for a sea view room, which we got and it was very spacious. The only problem was that it was on the 2nd floor and the lift was broken, but we were informed of this before we arrived. The location of the hotel could not be better, right on the sea front excellent. The breakfast was good and the service from the staff could not be faulted. This being a Wetherspoons hotel it was very popular in the day time with drinkers which made it very busy, but there is plenty of tables and a lot outside when the weather is good.
The only thing we could say was having to climb 3 flights of stairs because we are both elderly. The staff would have helped with our case but we declined. Otherwise, we could not fault this hotel at all.
