Brilliant location, great room, nice additions such as coffee and snack vending machines plus the options of buying a breakfast relatively close by.

When I requested to park my van during the day to pick up after work, I was first sent an email saying that I could and that there would be no charge. Then I was later phoned and told I could park during the day but only if I paid £20, which I declined because there is 'park n ride' free parking option 2mins away. I was appalled that this fact was not brought to my attention and that they wanted £20 to park.

This is a brilliant place to stay for proximity to Cambridge. I really liked the rooms. It was all very easy and suited our needs perfectly. I can't comment on the staff as we didn't see anyone....

We are happy enough with a cold room but the beds need properly dressing with a decent duvet and blanket. We were freezing all night. I'm glad we packed our thermals and pyjamas but getting out of bed to find a blanket in the small hours is not fun. In this sense we weren't comfortable and we didn't have a good night's sleep unfortunately.

Would have liked breakfast to be included in the price!

Room was lovely, location was great. Parking was a little tricky despite the huge parking area - maybe something was going on. Bathroom clean. Just as hoped and great value for money.

Would have been nice to have had an option for breakfast somewhere on-site or at least a nice cup of coffee compared to the awful packet of Nescafe in the room.

The location and setting were perfect for our day out in Cambridge followed by a visit to Duxford air museum. Easy access to the park and ride as well as the M11, yet a peaceful rural location.

The check-in directions to our room did not make it clear that the building we checked in at was actually where our room was. Minor detail but a bit of a nuisance as we carried out luggage to the building opposite, which was actually the house. We were also a bit perturbed at having to pay a £50 deposit for the room as well as paying the full booking cost in advance. We have never had to do this anywhere else.

The location is within bus stops, convenient to get to the city. The bed was very comfortable, no disruptions with hot water, very clean and nice room. A very quiet and beautiful area. Tea bags and coffee was renewed every day, which was very lovely. Absolutely lovely room.

The room in the loft is rather hot even when it is cool outside, no fan. However, it's possible to deal with it by opening all windows in the room and in the bathroom simultaneously. The wifi was fading often, the connection was rather poor even for audio call without a video.

The directions to get to Rectory Farm was good, close to M11 and close to the bus terminal to get into town. Beds were comfortable and room was clean, had plenty of tea and coffee and fresh water was provided. Room was refreshed the next day. The instructions given of what to expect in the room was clear and we ensure we brought what we needed in the room. A lovely place that is far enough from the noise of the city centre, loved seeing the animals on the field too, was very peaceful once in the confines of the farm. Breakfast was not part of the booking but recommendation of where to eat was given and the food was good.

Sound quality of the rooms was poor, otherwise the room was exactly what we wanted

Rectory Farm is now my favourite place to stay in Cambridge. I need a place to stay in Cambridge occasionally but regularly, and Rectory Farm is the best in its price range. Good location, convenient parking, absolutely reliable and a fuss-free check-in and check-out.

Nothing is a particular problem. The flouncy curtains and large numbers of cushions are not 100% to my taste, but I guess other guests may love them. Lack of breakfast is no problem provided you know in advance. The only thing I do worry about is: there's never anyone around at check-in. What would I do if there was a problem? Fortunately, there is never a problem, but still.

Amazing comfortable room. Large bathroom with shower. Communication was great too and everything was explained very clearly, in particular that they don’t offer breakfast (but nearby options are provided), that no shower gel etc is supplied (just soap), the method of self check in and the refundable security deposit, all clearly explained in writing in advance. Hairdryer, iron and extra blanket in wardrobe plus tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely chalet room. I was very impressed with the room and the quiet location.

The only thing of note for me was that though your room location is very clearly explained and sketched on the check in information I just found it very hard to read the chalet number on the door, as I arrived after sunset, and it was very dark with little light to see the number. Also, it was explained that I was to leave the key in a basket at the main chalet door but I couldn’t see one so ended up leaving the key in the bed instead. That’s it. All very minor.

All I can say is OMG! We stayed for 3 nights and had just about a perfect weekend. The room was immaculate. It was a nice room in the main building. The shower was excellent and huge.... we were at the back of the house and overlooked the gardens. I thought the bed was going to be uncomfortable, but it was the best night's sleep I've had for ages. The place was easy to find and was within walking distance of the pay and ride into Cambridge. A taxi back was only £10. I actually love this place. It's quiet and out of the way of the hustle and bustle of city life. I can't fault it. We will stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Oh and if you stay take a trip to the American cemetery just along the road it's amazing.

We didn't come into contact with any staff. The contact less check in was a bit bizarre.
