The room was lovely and cosy ,the owners were exceptionally lovely and helpfull they made you feel welcolme stopped to chat , bed was memory foam very comfortable, good choice of condiments VERY clean and lovely big walk in shower , out of the way of the other houses so very quiet would definitely come back £243 for 2 nights including breakfasts , good value for money. Breakfast was the best I've had in a while all came out hot wasn't cheap sausages or beans eggs was runny just how I like it and bacon cooked perfectly .

Mum struggled a bit with the steps outside but we knew that before comming, they are well lit at night.

This was our first time staying at a B&B, and to be honest, they left the bar too high. It's up to date technology wise, and we found that not having to carry around a key was best, as sometimes it can get lost. It has parking, which was great because it seems that everyone has a car these days, so parking is difficult. The views are beautiful, and the location lets you get around Kent easily.

The only issue we had is that being so high up we really couldn't go out at night for a walk, is not really a problem as we got back quite tired from walking during the day, but if you like to walk at night it might be an issue.

excellent breakfast, warm hospitality by Margaret and Phil, we really apprecaied their advice on where to go and when to visit the museum, the cliffs and the castle. The view from the room was nice. The room had all amenties we needed, the temperarure was fine, they also offered fresh milk and drinkable water for free.

If you don't use a car in the night , it would be better to use a flashlight when walking down hill to the centre or coming back , as the final part of the road is a bit steep and dark. The private part in the property, however, is properly lit, no need for the flashlight there.

Our room had bed, living area, kitchenette with frig, microwave, dishes etc. We stayed 3 nights so we could eat our leftover meals! We could make tea/coffee. Breakfast was amazingly good, with a nice view from the dining room. Greatly located above city center. Hosts were so nice & helpful. We rented a car to go to Canterbury etc.and there was parking there. We loved everything about it, location great for city center.Dover Museum is free and worth the visit. Castle closed except for weekends in winter.

Just a caution for anyone with walking issues, it is up a hill.

Our hostess Margaret was very helpful to us, especially how to get around and places to eat. She even called a taxi for us the morning we left so we could get to the dock. She had tried 5 taxi companies before she was able to reserve one. Phil’s help getting our luggage up the hill was great. Very close to Dover Priory train station. The shower was amazing. Also, we had choices for breakfast that our host cooked. Very excellent food! We could see quite a lot of Dover from our window.

This was an ideal stop for us as we were having an overnight break prior to a morning sailing from the Port of Dover. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast from the dining room with very impressive views over the town. The owners were very friendly and well organised and on our departure lost no time in calling me to alert me to the fact I'd left a charger in the room- luckily I retrieved it in time!

Parking space at bottom of steps was a little difficult to navigate on arrival in the dark.

We were met by Margaret with a smile, although she probably didn’t feel like it as it gone 9.30 pm when we arrived due to M25 hold-ups. I did message through booking.com but she hasn’t received it. The facilities were first class, everything was catered for. It was spotlessly clean, with a very snazzy shower. The bed was super comfy Thank you, one of the best B&B’s we have stayed in.

Only one minor disappointment we didn’t get breakfast as they didn’t start serving until 7.30 and we had to leave for our ferry at that time, although Margaret did kindly offer to pack us up croissants.

The house is situated up a private drive with plenty of space for parking. it is a lovely house with beautiful furnishings. Despite being 2 hours late we were met with smiles and a warm welcome from our host. The luxury bedroom was just that. The bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed and top quality bedding. The shower room was very large with an excellent shower. I loved that everything was labelled including the shower controls so there was no chance of a surprise overhead shower. The towels were large and soft. The toilet was in a separate room and again this room was large with the wash basin in it and again lovely towels. We had ordered an evening meal and it was delicious and well cooked. We slept really well and everything seemed to have been thought of including a black out blind. Breakfast had more options that we could manage. We went straight for the cooked breakfast that we had pre-ordered the night before. It was beautifully cooked and delicious and the breakfast room has lovely views of the town and the surrounding countryside. Everything about our stay was first class. For me the icing on the cake was how well my dairy intolerance was dealt with. There was non-dairy milk in the fridge in our room and supplied at dinner and breakfast. All food prepared was also non-dairy. A huge thanks to both our hosts for welcoming us into their beautiful home and looking after us so well.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike

We want to thank the owners for everything they have done for us.It was our first stay on a B&B. I was a bit sceptical at the beginning, but everything was perfect, starting with the location, which is very close to all the attractions, the room was clean and very comfortable, and food amazing. Definitely I recommend this place Thanks you 😀

Quiet location. Easy access to high street shops. Beaches are within a mile. Comfortable dinning table with views overlooking the city. Spacious parking spaces. TV with internet access so we could carried on with videos we watch on YouTube. Cleanness and sanitation measures are important during this time which are fulfilled well. Happy to see owner couple wearing face masks when meeting their guests. Breakfast was gorgeous.

Bedroom was a bit cold at night due to breakdown of the wall-mount heating system. Could be good to have a spare heater standby to make a stay more comfortable.
