The room was just so lovely, had everything you could need - hairdryer, toiletries, iron & board etc. We stayed in SnapDragon, Room 10 and it was just a delightful room - the only slight annoyance was the toilet made a really long and loud noise after flushing but probably something easily remedied. The pub/restaurant was great. When we arrived there was live music and the staff were super friendly and really helpful. We didn’t have dinner but we did have breakfast which was delicious! We stayed for 2 nights as attending a wedding close by. It was a great location, really quaint. St Margaret’s Beach/Bay just 10 mins away was beautiful and a must see, recommended by the bar man - thank you! Really good value for money for such a lovely place.

There was nothing to dislike!

Well presented. Very clean. Comfortable bedding. Large TV. Doors opening onto large garden area with bistro style chairs for sitting out. Loads of electric sockets. Large soft towels The manager was very helpful. Plenty of parking. Good pub/restaurant

No iron or fan available. Rectified by staff on request. A larger selection of quality coffee/tea, (no decafe) needed for price point. Not enough for two persons. I had to walk to restuarant in the morning for additional milk. Bathroom well presented, only one waterglass. Toilteries basic, again more quality and quantity needed. Plus shower cap? Bedside lamps would be useful. A bit more attention to details above would make an over score of 10.

Stunning location. Perfect to be near the pub for fantastic food. Staff are lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.

3 very Minor points 1) property info didn’t mention feather pillows/duvet as I’m allergic. Seems to be more common in most places actually, but the host was immediately happy to sort for us and she was super kind. 2) green emergency light was soooo bright it was like daylight so take an eye mask - thankfully I had one. 3)Only other thing was the machines wouldn’t let us tip, and we like to tip good service. So anyone reading this, take cash for tips. We feel bad cos we couldn’t tip.

Lovely pub with helpful & friendly staff; the food was freshly cooked and very enjoyable, good choice of real ales too. I stayed in one of the lodges which was quiet, clean and comfortable. I was cycling the Cantii Trail (Kent coast) so a bonus for me was being able to keep my bicycle in the lodge for security.

The mattress was a bit worn and not the most comfortable. The pub prices were normal but I found the room quite expensive but was booked at short notice so was my choice & recommended by someone on the Cantii Trail Facebook page. Shame no breakfast available to guests on Tuesdays.

The accommodation is spotlessly clean, the location is amazingly peaceful but there are options if you want to join people at the Inn for food or drink s. People are very friendly and warm. Room with a garden view has beautiful scenery out to the rear of the garden and countryside.

What was difficult for me was I collapsed in my room before going to bed. This was due to a heart condition and really scared my wife. The couple next door Clive was amazing he sat with me until ambulance arrived, the manager was really good to came over and made sure everything was OK. I was then taken to hospital for check up this was all OK and after spending 5 hours at AnE we came back. What was really considerate of the manager is they gave us an extra 2 hours time to sleep before we had to leave the room. We will definitely be going back to stay here it is a lovely place to stay.

Location is simply amazing, a lot of green around. The rooms are clean and quiet, everything looks new or very well kept. Hairdryer and tower fan available, plenty of plugs close to the bed and under the mirror. Staff is simply amazing, kind and super helpful. The pub/restaurant has a great choice of drink, we had dinner at the restaurant, food is absolutely delicious and prices more than reasonable. A lot of free parking space close to the rooms and a big playground in the pub garden. For sure we will come back with the kids

nothing to complain about

The view from the lodge was amazing, we was in the bridal lodge. The lodge was spacious , clean , well decorated

The lodge is very spacious and I feel it could of had a bigger bed in there . Instead if a standard double. The WiFi isn't good in the area , we got the password from the staff when we went for dinner , maybe this could be on a laminted information sheet in the room ? ... check in is after 3pm and checkout is 10.30 am I think checkout could be extended until 11am as breakfast is 8.30 - 10... we booked breakfast for 9.30 so had to make sure we was packed up and out the lodge as there wouldn't have been time to go back after breakfast.

Location fine . Breakfast took 30mins to be served .

Breakfast was rather disappointing . After cooked breakfast there is usually a choice of toast and jam or marmalade . Also we could only have cereal if we opted for continental breakfast . We found this surprising as everything prior to breakfast had been faultless.
