Beautiful location perfect for our stay with the dogs. Great walks for the dogs also Couldn't have asked for a better place. Host Rob and his dad Wallis were so welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful and suggested places to eat. Tried the Gatekeeper Inn at their suggestion and was not disappointed. Overall we would highly recommend here for a stay, it is stunning. Shame we weren't staying longer

We really loved this beautiful place. It was very cosy: the room, the beautiful garden where we could sit and the surroundings. The folding chairs and table were very handy. We could make a nice place for ourselves to have breakfast as the weather was nice and it didn't take much space in the room. We loved the nice walk we could make with our dog around the hill near the accommodation. All the members of the family that owns the property were very kind and inviting. We felt very welcome. We loved to hear about the interesting history of the property. And of course it was perfect that the B&B is so close to the tunnel. Being there you cannot imagine that it really is that close (only 10 minutes) because of the quietness of the place and the surrounding beautiful Kentish landscape. Hythe is a nice town close by, where you can go for dinner (dog friendly) and for a nice stroll. We definitely will come back when we take the tunnel again.

We liked everything!!

A lot of thought had gone into making our stay comfortable and welcoming by our hosts. The room was very clean and well appointed. As we were leaving early our hosts kindly offered to make us a packed breakfast and provided a large cafetiere of coffee for the morning. The hotel was very dog friendly and there was somewhere to walk the dog in the evening and morning. We found out that Beachborough park is only 5 minutes from the Eurotunnel terminus via a local back entrance (although you cannot hear it) which meant an extra 30 minutes in bed as an added bonus. We have already booked to stay there on our return and will stay again.

What a wonderful find - perfect for an overnight stay close to the Eurotunnel. When we arrived, we were delighted to be able to park next to our accommodation. Our hosts were charming, friendly and courteous on our arrival and this continued until we left. I should mention that Beachborough Park is extremely dog friendly. The room was clean with adequate hygiene supplies. The room itself was clearly part of a converted stable block which enhanced its quaintness. We were so close to Hythe that we were able to drive there and enjoy a meal at one of the local public houses (reviewed elsewhere). On our return we took advantage of a leisurely walk in the grounds with our dog, In the morning the adequate continental breakfast was served in our rooms but the weather allowed us to sit in the garden space just outside the room. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

The only disadvantage, if one can call it that, is the limited number of outside tables and chairs which could be occupied very quickly in the event of actual good weather.

Great stay in a lovely barn conversion. Tastefully made with nice wooden doors, nice and warm inside. Loved the fact that there was a grass field in front of the room so our dog could play a bit with her ball. The beds could have been a wee bit bigger but were very comfortable to sleep in. Overall clean, nice tea facilities and a good breakfast with a bit of everything (croissants, toast, corn flakes, yoghurt, jus d'orange, milk, granola, jam&butter). Great stay if you need to be on the ferry or train to France too. Absolute value for money and we will be back. Very nice welcome by Rob, thank you for hosting!

Beachborough Park is a beautiful property with very friendly and caring operators. Thank you Gordon for your kind care and interesting conversations. The location is rural and charming with horses, cows and squirrels, our dog was very welcome and even got a breakfast treat. Breakfast was good and sufficient. We enjoyed it outside on the meadow, uniquely beautiful! The location to the Eurotunnel and the ferryboat is perfect, also a visit to the White cliffs and the Castle in Dover can be highly recommended. From Beachborough Park everything is easy and uncomplicated to reach. A full recommendation from us and should the opportunity arise, we will stay there again!

Nothing to complain about!

Host was more than helpful, very pleasant and welcoming for both us and our dog, an ideal place to stay for an early trip on the euro tunnel but to be honest its an all round nice place to stay anyway and would consider staying a few just to explore the region.

Not much to complain about at all, if anything due only to the unseasonably warm spell the room was very warm as the front wall had been in the sun all day and that radiated through the night, that was not the fault of the host just the weird weather we are experiencing now

Perfect location for channel tunnel - only a few minutes away. Unique accomodation (old livestock barn/ stables). Exceptionally clean, and very comfortable beds. Dogs accepted, and we took ours - you would never know other dogs had ever stayed there as no engrained doggy smells like at other places. Continental breakfast brought to room in morning was exceptional and quality totally unexpected - we had freshly ground coffee, fresh orange juice, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, and a basket of warm croissants, toast and pain au chocolat - with butter and jams. They even brought a breakfast doggy chew for our pet!

There was nothing I didn't like, but due to the accomodation being on rural land up a long country lane with no lighting I would have felt slightly vulnerable if I was a lone female. However, we stayed as a family of 3, so it was fine. We would stay again :)

This was our second stay (our return journey from France via Eurotunnel) and this time we stayed in the Summer House, which is a detached, single-story property in a quiet area of the estate. We loved it! It was ideal for us - a kitchen complete with fridge to stock the food we'd travelled with and lots of space for Eddie our dog to pad around. Eddie loved watching the rabbits play in the garden that the Summer House's front door opens onto. Gordon is an exceptionally good host - very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our vegan breakfast was lovely - brought to our little dining table in the living room dead on 8am! Toasted bagels, jams, fruit, ground coffee, orange juice, yoghurt, toast, cereal etc. - perfect. We slept really well as it's a particularly quiet choice of accommodation, given that it's a detached property. The dog walks on the doorstep are beautiful - we climbed to the top of the hill right next to the estate before breakfast and really loved the views. We are very grateful for Rob offering the Summer House on our return journey and we'd definitely stay there again. The location is so perfect for the Eurotunnel and you can't get a more dog-friendly hotel. We can't recommend the place highly enough.

We were travelling to France via the tunnel and were concerned about delays both on the motorways and at the terminal due to strikes. So we booked a morning tunnel and an overnight stay, arriving late the previous evening. It was a perfect solution in all respects. The accommodation was simple but comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. The tasty breakfast delivered to the room was a bonus, and it was such a quick drive to the Eurotunnel check-in that we got booked on an earlier train, all without rushing. The location was amazingly rural, bearing in mind it took us less then 4 minutes to drive to the tunnel!

Nothing.
