wow what a beautiful bed and breakfast from the minute we walked in the door kendy and Corrie made us feel very welcome . we stayed in the Leopold room very spacious clean everything you needed coffee machine hot choc biscuits . absolutely spotless room nothing to fault we were shown our room abd everything was explained nothing to much trouble Corrie told us about the area the best pub and fish and chip shop lots of information about the area where to go Then what can we say about Tvfos breakfast the happy danceing chef who made the most superb breakfast every morning full English lots of little extras we were very spoilt . we would not hesitate to recommend anyone wishing to visit Eastbourne to stay at the Albert and Victoria it’s like going back a little in time you will not be disappointed. this will always be our go to place in Eastbourne

The breakfast was lovely and very filling. There is a form to fill for breakfast each day and you can choose to have full english breakfast or vegan breakfast and anything extra according to your choose. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The location is good, just a 2 min walk to the seafront. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

There is no parking, and we had quite a difficult time to find parking on the streets, usually the parking on the streets is quite full. The toilet flush in room Beatrice wasn't working properly and it was not very convenient. Please replace the toilet flush.

The Albert & Victoria is an exceptional friendly family run hotel close to the seafront. Warm and inviting decor to the room we stayed in called ‘Leopald’, which was clean, tidy and spacious. Feather pillows, cotton sheets, Free wifi, a large screen Tv and espresso coffee machine with ample beverages including biscuits and a mint chocolate. These small touches certainly add to the overall enjoyment. The bathroom was well provided with towels, flannels, quality environmentally friendly washing gels and lotions to both sink and shower. The freshly prepared breakfast choice was excellent catering for both the vegan and vegetarian diets with a simple checklist placed on the door for the owners to retrieve before morning ensuring a fluid and fast service at sitting. Access to all rooms is via the internal staircase. Parking is an issue in Eastbourne. If you cannot get a vacant free spot in the street the hotel is willing to provide an overnight seafront parking permit. The owners are a wonderful gracious couple that make staying at the Albert & Victoria a joy. Recommended.

There isn’t anything to dislike while staying at the Albert & Victoria, Eastbourne.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were accommodating and very kind to let us into our room a little earlier too (we were really grateful as it was freezing outside!) The room was just as advertised, so cosy and full of character. We loved the fact that there were plenty of hot drink options and even a coffee machine. The breakfast was wonderful, with a large selection to enjoy. It was nice to stay in a room with a name, not a number. We escaped from reality for a while and we really needed it! We'll be back for sure!

No negatives.

The owners/staff were exceptional, very friendly and professional. Lovely cooked breakfast and fresh fruit salad every morning. A great location for the seafront and pier. A great recommendation of a pub serving great food. I loved the pictures on the bath panel and how they kept the room in keeping with the 19th century.

The room was small and there was too much in it, maybe consider getting rid of one of the armchairs. Need some more hangers in the wardrobe (I'm sure if I asked, they would have given me more)

The best thing about the whole experience were the hosts. Just as warm as could be and nothing was rushed or any trouble. They were both outstanding. We miss them.

The location is perfect, parking we found easy and did not pay for any parking the whole time we were there. On the same street as the property was easy. The place was wonderful, clean and a nice vibe about it.

I was warmly welcomed, which I needed after a long, frustrating journey. The room was delightful. It was small but ideal for me on my own. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! And they even rang me soon after I left because I'd left something in the room. Really lovely hosts.

The only downside was that the TV was small/old, and I couldn't get to the plug to get it switched on. But with free WiFi, I could watch the news on my iPad.

The breakfast was very comphrensive, the staff upon arrival were very helpful and throughout, the room was spotlessly clean, coffee & tea in the room, beautiful shower and soap, shampoo, conditioner. We were on 1.5 flights up but easy to get to and had lots of large bags and the owner offered to help with up and down.

Actually, it's really hard to find something to criticize. Overall of course the room is a bit smaller than a room in a large hotel but we already knew that and great value and it was still large enough to get two adults and 3 months of vacation bags. That's not a criticism, but what it is.

Albert and Victoria is a gem on St Aubyns road. The rooms are warmly decorated and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a lovely surprise. You walk into a cute breakfast setting with china dishes. I felt like a special guest. Breakfast is made to order. The location is half a block from the walk that runs along the beach.

Nothing comes to mind.

Lovely Host's wo could not do enought to make our stay memorable

We found that our bedroom was on the fourth floor which was quite a long way up when you are in your mid seventies. It might be adviseable to inform senior citezens as to which floor their room is on so they can make their mind up as to weather they stay, or not stay.
