What a find. Your hotel is amazing! I don’t know if it’s new or just hadn’t heard about it but the rooms seemed like they were brand new. The smeg fridge, dyson cooler, Nespresso coffee machine, was so impressed with the quality within the room. The bed was incredibly comfy as well

Guys I’m proper having to search to find anything but thy only thing was the check in system. It just felt we were hanging about in the restaurant surrounded by tables. This did not have any negative impact on our stay and I get it might not even be economical to change it for the amount of guest you have checking in but just thought I’d throw it out there

The room was well kitted out with a Bluetooth speaker, coffee machine, fridge with mini bar, GHD hair dryer and hair straighteners, and plenty of toiletries. The decor was modern and stylish. The bed was very large and comfortable. The location is great, right in the heart of the New Town and easily walkable to shops, bars and restaurants, and to the main sights of the Old Town. There was zero noise from the bar and restaurant below.

My room was on the street level and the bins and bottle recycling were right outside my window. I did ask if they could be moved, and they immediately were (the staff were very helpful overall). However, the following day they were back there. Perhaps a little barrier by the back door of the kitchen could stop them from creeping back into view.

Breakfast was nice but disappointing that couldn’t have unlimited drinks and ordered the continental platter this morning and there was one piece of salami and one piece of palma ham so not very generous on portions. It was tasty though. Loved the toiletries in the room, that was fab.

Noise without fail every morning at 7 am. Windows clearly kept no noise from the alley out. Hard as we had done to sleep as young baby. Unclear if the water was complimentary in the room and some sort of sign saying what was free and what part of mini bar would have been useful.

I liked the GHD hairdryer and straighteners in the room and the smart fridge. the bed was two single pushed together so it seemed like a larger bed which was good and it was comfy. The staff were so lovely and pleasant. The location was perfect, A 2 minute walk to princes street.

We were up early so it wasn’t as much of an issue but the hun men came around at half 7 and you heard bottle being emptied. As it was mid week, it was quieter but I would imagine staying here at the weekend you would hear more noise as it is above a bar/restaurant. Also having to walk through the bar to get to the bedrooms was strange.

Received a warm welcome from this adorable hotel, the rooms were gorgeous and exceptionally clean. The breakfast provided in the morning was amazing as well as a hot drink at no extra cost.

The only fault with my trip at this hotel was that my room was on the first floor and so my window was on ground level. This meant that the view was of the road next to the hotel and had small bins next to the window. I did not feel unsafe however, having the noise of glass bottles being thrown into the bin wasn’t ideal.

The bar restaurant was really nice as were the staff especially Kirsty who booked us in and let us know everything going on with our stay. The breakfast in the morning was first class and the cocktails at night were excellent and at a fair price for what you pay in Edinburgh. The room was excellent very clean and homey, didn’t really feel like you were in a hotel room which is a great feeling. All in all it was an excellent and we both agreed we would 100% stay there again.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like.

The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was quirky, not the standard hotel room decor.

The room was up three flights of stairs and there was no lift. Fortunately the wait staff from the restaurant were lovely and helped with our cases. The room looked onto an alleyway, which was noisy. We were woken up the two mornings we were there at around 5 am to the sound of clanking glass, and trucks emptying skip bins. The room was on the hot side with no air circulation (although a cooling fan did help a bit).

We liked everything about Rabble , lovely setting and staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent a large choice on menu we had cooked breakfast and you could taste the good quality ingredients .

The room has plenty double/triple glazing but because it was so hot ( a large fan is in the room) we had to sleep with window open and it was quite noisy outside from about 5am sounded like refuse lorries and empty bottles getting lifted . With windows closed you don't hear anything .

From the moment we arrived, ALL of the staff were EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and kind to us. We could not have received a warmer welcome! Then each morning, the breakfasts were divine, and the choice of breakfast dishes on the menu to choose from was wide. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the vibe in the bar is hopping with great music - incredibly, you can't hear a peep of noise once inside your room. Just perfect combination of lively and happy below, quiet in the room for rest and sleep! Last but not least, location was great, walkable to many places we wished to go.

nothing!

If you’ve ever wanted to stay in rooms behind a pub this is your place. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were roomy enough and had excellent amenities, lots of plugs, storage and room to hang things. The entire establishment was very classy.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but it was a little awkward walking thru all the restaurant customers to get to our rooms. I’d just never experienced anything like it before. It would not stop me from staying there again on the least though.
