Breakfast very good - especially the choice - lovely room - great location

We stayed in Casablanca 209 but I was woken several times during Wednesday night (4 am!) noisy club night queue possibly connected to rear of Rose Steet. Not hotel ‘s fault but this one off problem is an issue. We also had problems with WiFi connection but this might have been my iPad - staff tried their best to be helpful

My partner and I stayed in the Sydney suite for our anniversary and loved it! The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. I paid a bit extra to get some chocolate covered strawberries in the room for our arrival and they even added rose petals to the bed which was a nice touch. Every member of staff we spoke to during our stay was lovely and so helpful with any questions or requests we had. The location is great too as it's close to many bars and restaurants and only a 10 min walk from Waverly train station.

There was some noise pollution on Fri and Sat night, either from the hotel bar or the club next to the hotel (we couldn't really tell where it was coming from). It stopped around 2/3am but I just popped in some ear plugs and was able to sleep fine. We also had some issues with slow WiFi on our first night but by the second night it seemed to have fixed itself.

Second time staying at Le Monde and will definitely be back again. Staff were a delight and the hotel is clean, quiet and feels safe. It is comfortable, in a great location on George Street and feels romantic. Highly recommended.

There was nothing really that we didn’t like. The TV in our room (Barcelona) felt a wee bit outdated. It could maybe be updated slightly with some more channels and maybe a Chromecast option or have some apps like Netflix or Disney+. The bar was a wee bit quiet when we visited on Sunday night, however as the night progressed more people joined and the atmosphere increased. The bar staff even made us a complimentary cocktail to gather opinions on a potential new drink since we were the only ones in - which we were very happy to do.

Nice big room including a huge bathroom that was very comfortable during our stay.

The faucet was too forceful for the sink and water was easy to splash out. Would have liked an extra pillow per person. Took some testing of the lights to understand them. Might have been nice to have a discounted gym access for facilities that were nearby.. I was looking for some to go cups of coffee & tea somewhere within the hotel. No directions for the coffee maker..ended up wasting a pod trying to get it turned on.

very central. very clean. very friendly. quiet. breakfast menu was limited but tasty. the breakfast menu offers just one main with juice.

juice at breakfast was a long drink full of ice and not juice as we know it. the room PARIS was a bit clumsy with toilet and washroom on one side of the bed while the bathroom cum dressing room was on the other side of the bed. ac left us sweltering on the first night but reception controlled it thereafter.

Fabulous location! Around the corner from the Hop On Hop Off bus (which we used frequently) and the bus to the airport. Very near lots of restaurants. Walkable to the old city. Also, the best shower we've ever had in a hotel!

Our only complaint was that the bathtub and sink didn't drain properly. Also, the coffee in the restaurant wasn't very good. Everyone in Europe seems to think that Americans like Americano coffee. But it's very weak and has little coffee task. We were grateful for the free Illy coffee pods and bottled water in the room.

Great location. Staff attentive and welcoming. Speedy lifts.

Chewing gum stuck under tables we sat at in bar. Staff wearing jeans and a blue shirt. I would have expected a bit more formal wear. Trainers on one staff member in particular looked filthy and ready for bucket months ago. Marks on ceiling in the bar area from god knows what, not cleaned. Noisy outside from nightclub next door and bin men emptying buckets full of glass. Very broken sleep.

Beautiful room, excellent location and view, very nice coffee and tea making in room facility, large multi-space room: bedroom, wc, bathroom and wardrobe, comfortable large bed, very nice and lively bar restau on ground floor

The 2nd night of my stay, the club next door had a party and a loud crowd stayed outside until late

Stayed in the Barcelona and the room was beautiful. Gorgeous bathroom. Good quality toiletries. Fabulous cosy seating area set within an alcove with large corner windows. Well-stocked mini-bar with nice glasses for drinks. Lots of options for different lighting settings. The bar area is fabulous - gorgeous cocktails. Perfect location in the centre of Edinburgh for shops, restaurants etc.

The light system was difficult to operate. Still not sure how it works. Could do with upgrading the TVs to Smart TVs. Most quality hotels now have Smart TVs allowing guests to watch Netflix, Prime etc using their own accounts. I was looking forward to watching a film on Netflix with my grandson after dinner and we were both disappointed.

First time I’d had a Scottish breakfast and wasn’t impressed. For the rest of the week I had eggs benedictine with bacon. Lovely.

When we first arrived, in the top drawer of the wardrobe was a pair of knickers and some socks. Not impressed however they gave us a drink in the bar, moved us to another room which had an ice bucket with some Prosecco which was very nice. One thing to note. Don’t accept a room at the front of the hotel. It’s next to a night club. There were people on the street drinking, shouting which was hard to sleep through. The noise died down at around 4am. When we mentioned they moved us again to the back end of the hotel which was very much appreciated.
