Friendly staff. Convenient public car-park with EV charger. Convenient arrangements for paying for that car-park at the hotel. Food served at the bar until quite late. Pleasant, spacious bar/lounge area. Hotel easily accessible by road.

The food at the bar could be more varied. Also - I know this may sound trivial but I also experienced it on a previous stay - the potatoes in the clam chowder I had (otherwise tasty) were still quite hard. I presume it had been micro-waved. The televisions constantly on in the bar, nearly always on the same programme, BBC News, could be a bit irritating. A rack to put one's open suitcase on in the room would have been helpful.

Immaculate & comfortable rooms, friendly & efficient staff, excellent breakfast and evening meal. Overall very good customer service. Would highly recommend it. We stayed there for 2 nights for daughter's graduation and unfortunately the day before departure our other daughter was very unwell and had to cancel her room, but the manager & receptionist were really helpful - flexible and responsive in arranging a refund given the circumstances.

Expensive (due to peak/graduation season) and cost of breakfast could have been included. Difficult to contact anyone directly at the hotel by 'phone to notify them of room cancellation etc. - kept ending up at the Leonardo's central call centre. Perhaps need another person on reception during peak times or to answer the 'phone?

Hotel was lovely and clean, check in and out was really easy and hassle free with the online booking system. Bed and duvet was so comfortable!! The rooms felt private and I felt really safe as a single female traveller. The thing I was most grateful for and really appreciated was that because I have dietary issues, I requested a fridge in my room so that I could store the milk and special items I needed - this was done without any fuss or extra charges and was in my room ready for my arrival. I would definitely stay again and look forward to my next stay at the hotel.

Parking at the NCP was expensive but appreciate that because its so central this is tricky and really it's probably only the price of a taxi fare if you stayed further outside of the city @£13.

Clean room, great location, temperature control system easy to use. Bed linen in second room smelled fresh and looked spotless, beds very comfy and the carpet was clean.

We were initially given room 404 which felt very humid, and smelled like mould and damp, the bed linen had some holes and stains (small but noticeable). I informed the reception, as my son has asthma and didn’t feel safe to stay in there due to smell. We were given a new room 401 and was absolutely fine. If the exterior room 404 has issues should not be rented due to health issues. Also no fridge in the room…these days all hotels have fridges in the room so very disappointed. Lastly, checkin / reception very slow but staff seemed lovely and helpful

It is well located near to the town and to the coach drop-off/pickup, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the lounge is comfortable. The WIFI is also of great quality, as I was able to stream videos overnight. The beds are comfortable, and the room is clean. There is also a safe in the room, where I can leave valuables during the day, and there is a single USB power socket in the room which I use to charge phone/tablet.

On the second day, when I returned to the hotel after a day out, my room keys (cards) were no longer working (one had been with me, the other remained in my room throughout the day). So I had to go back down to reception and get a new keycard. Presumably the room was accidentally reset by the system, as I can't think of any other way both keys would have reset when they were in entirely different locations all day. Reception did handle it quickly though.

The staff were amazing. They were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was just right, The buffet breakfast had lots of variety and the restaurant had a good selection on the menu. All the front desk people were terrific, but I will mention Geraldine as she went out of the way to book a taxi in advance for an early hospital appointment, among other things she did. Also the restaurant staff were cheerful, friendly and welcoming. I would especially like to mention Karen. All in all a terrific hotel.. rooms this summer . I would absolutely recommend the hotel as well as stay there again.

They need a pool. We wouold stay there this summer with a party of 13 for 5 rooms but we need a pool for the younger ones in the group'

Great location in the middle of Exeter. Close to everything you will want to see. The room was tidy and nicely decorated. We had a view of trees from our room that were very pretty. Parking for the hotel is across the road or behind the building and no more than $10 a night

Nothing with the property. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. A note for travellers to Exeter - Uber does not operate in the city. If you use the ap you will be charged extra for them to call the local cab company. Wish we knew this beforehand. Use the local taxi company and get the hotel staff front counter to book it for you.

The room was a decent size for what we paid and had two windows so had a lovely breeze coming through it (was a VERY hot day) TV wall hung opposite the bed so could happily lounge while watching. Linens were good quality, and towels a great size. Nice selection of tea/coffee in the room and some shortbread. Room service available though we didn't use this. Reception staff were lovely (sorry, didn't get names), as we only stayed the one night we didn't see any other staff so can't comment.

One of the blinds in our room was broken so couldn't put it up. There was a thick metal 'hoop' sticking out of the floor in front of each window - has anyone broken their toes yet? Or is it just bruises at this point? You can't avoid it if you get out of the RHS of the bed in the middle of the night so be warned! We ended up putting a shoe upside down over it to reduce the impact.

The lobby was very “warm” with a smooth transition toward restaurant space and bar. It was pleasant

I could not figure out what was going on just outside the front door, lots of men standing around ages 20-50, from groups of 2-6. Either drugs, a prostitution thing, or some gathering. I could not “read” it due a bit to cultural difference, and they were never an issue, they just were loitering. After a few passes in and out and seeing on two different occasions young women scantily dressed leave the building, I expect some rooms in the hotel were being used as a P ring.

The location of the hotel was perfect in that it was next to the city centre. The hotel was quiet and next to a cinema and multi-storey car park, too, as well as a small supermarket. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was really clean, of a generous size, warm and comfortable. The bed was really amazing. The food was lovely. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast was brilliant, with amazing choice and a great gluten-free selection, too. It was easy to pay for parking through the hotel. We thoroughly recommend you stay here and we would gladly stay here again.

Nothing -- the staff clearly care about what they each and together do. The hotel was faultless.
