The location was fantastic, just set back from the main road into Exeter and a short walk from a train station. We were able to head into town, find great restaurants and complete the trip with ease. The room was nice and clean. The parking was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The value for money is truly fantastic. It isn't trying to be anything more than it is and delivers brilliantly on it all.

We had a superior room but that didn't come with a bath just a shower with a slightly awkward on/off system. I always prefer a bath when in a hotel but that's my preference. They've clearly maximised the space available with the shower design and made up for the small bathroom with a mix of natural light and a great mirror light too.

The check-in and check-out processes were very simple and convenient. The room was small but cozy. Breakfast was hot, tasty, and in sufficient quantities.

The amount of noise filtering through from neigbourng rooms was somewhat annoying. For some unknown reason, the occupants of the room next to mine locked each other out. The entire fight and drama took a few minutes but was enough to spoil my night. While I appreciate adherence to rules, I was a bit disappointed when a couple who confused the weekend breakfast times with weekday-schedule were not served for coming at the very end of the service time.

The staff were welcoming and very pleasant; the hotel was very clean and my room, in particular, was so cosy. It was a single room, but big enough for my needs and had everything I needed. Despite being situated on a very busy through road, the traffic noise subsided as the night progressed, so sleep wasn't disturbed. The choices for breakfast were good, plentiful and quickly delivered after the order was taken. The location is perfect for me as I have family close by - this is my second stay at the hotel, and I'm sure I will be staying again.

There was nothing I disliked.

Easy location to find of M5. Close to Quayside and city centre, Nice greeting, room not large but adequate size, clean, comfortable bed, en suite nice, shower good strength. Breakfast was hot and good . Would definitely book there again , very good value. On main route into Exeter but traffic noise was minimal. Nice good size parking on site.

Room was very warm turned of radiators but heating in whole building hot didn't make a lot of difference, could not open window because of traffic. No phone to reception in room to ask about fan or any queries

We'd normally go for a chain hotel but gave this a try because of the limited (and expensive) parking available at hotels in the centre. Were a bit worried about what we'd find. Immaculately clean hotel, spacious room, stylish decor, thoughtful design, decent shower, comfortable bed. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff polite and welcoming. It was great to be able to park our car and walk a very short distance to the quayside area. Superb value for money.

It was all great - I'm nitpicking really, but it would have been to have proper glasses in the room rather than thin plastic, and breakfast finished quite early at 9am, especially as checkout wasn't until 10.30.

It was a comfortable but very small room at the back of the hotel which just fitted my one night stay on a 24 hour trip to Exeter. Tea and coffee was available in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly when my initial flight was cancelled and I had to delay my visit. Finally the breakfast was wonderful! It was all freshly cooked and extremely tasty.

I got what I paid for so, while I might have liked a larger bathroom, it was fine and there was nothing that I did not like.

We booked the family room and it was fine, beds very comfy. The only problem, it was a very hot weekend but the hotel did provide us with 2 fans which were a great help. Lovely clean bathroom, no bath but shower was great. Free parking behind hotel, we left the car there from 11am on check in day, so this was a bonus. Hotel about a 10-15 minute walk to the Quay and the town centre, so a great location for us. Breakfast was perfect, we are vegan and they had great options. Full English or a sausage sandwich. Plenty of toast and jams/vegan butter, juices and tea. Had oat milk for coffees/teas. Waitress was super friendly and a helpful, lovely girl.

The room was very hot, no air con. But the hotel provided 2 fans, so they certainly did their best to help.

Good location, free parking available and we were able to have a late evening check-in. Nice room, very clean bathroom with towels & toiletries, fan provided in the bedroom and lovely comfortable beds. There was continental & cooked breakfast available, served at our table by friendly and efficient staff. A great alternative to the usual ‘chain’ hotels that we normally stay in and will have no hesitation in staying again should we visit Exeter or surrounding area.

The only thing I could mention was our lovely room was at the front of the property. So there was a little road noise but didn’t interfere with our sleep as the beds were so comfy!

The room was very comfy. We could not hear the traffic to much. My husband wanted fresh milk for his drink so that was given without any problem. The breakfast was ample and very tasty. The staff were very accomadating. We walked into the city centre along the canal. We enjoyed our mini break😁

Unfortunately we could not get any hot water. Because we only stayed one night I did not query it.

Very comfortable, clean room, with a very welcome fan, since our room was at the top of the hotel and the weather was hot. Very good breakfast., with plenty of choice. Hotel staff were exceptional: all were unfailingly helpful and polite. Plenty of free parking at the hotel is a real bonus. Very good location, within ten minutes' walking distance of the quay, and with a bus stop right outside the hotel. Buses run into the city centre and back, every half-hour.

We were happy with everything, and would recommend the hotel to others wanting to explore Exeter.
