Hotel Indigo Glasgow, an IHG Hotel

Bright modern hotel with such a history to the building we loved it ♥️ Myself and my 2 son's 5 and 14 stayed two nights . Comfortable room not much if a view but that was fine. Good room mini fridge with water and caramel wafers 🙌 that was a win with my boys. We booked breakfast both morning brilliant priced and kids ate free outstanding selection and also a full hot breakfast menu great quality and selection. I've stayed in most city centre hotels I found the indigo Glasgow outstanding and will definitely return. Great rooms value location and the staff are wonderful and can't do enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Where to start.....my partner and I live over 200 miles apart and we are limited as to when we can see each other....I booked the hotel and read the reviews which were all very good. Nothing however could prepare us for the room.....immaculately clean warm welcoming comfortable tasteful and the shower!!! The best one I have had in years! Loved the tea and coffee-the caramel wafers and bottled water were very much appreciated and most welcome after spending four hours on a cramped bus!!! Breakfast was lovely-we opted for the full Scottish and it was perfect! Very tasty and everything on the plate was cooked to perfection-praise please for the kitchen staff responsible and there was a good choice on offer for the continental breakfast too but full Scottish for us and my partner doesn't eat breakfast as a rule so that was a huge complement when he ordered and thoroughly enjoyed it-empty plate too!!! However the staff-fantastic. The young lady when we first arrived was so helpful and friendly-really pretty girl-the young chap from Greenock and the I took to be the Duty Manager on Saturday evening were an absolute pleasure to deal with-they are an absolute credit to the team. Had a soft drink in the bar-young dark haired lass on the bar another very pleasant lassie and on Sunday morning the waiting staff were just fantastic. Each and every one of them were so helpful great service attentive and nothing was too much pleasure. The lady on the desk in the restaurant was Greek and she was a wee sweetheart! Every single member of the team were youngsters and so good at their jobs bless them all and five stars to the kitchen staff too. As we left it seemed that half of Glasgow were leaving too but the two girls on reception managed admirably and were very sincere and genuine. We thanked them for such a positive experience and I could not let everyone's hard work go unnoticed.

Are you kidding!! Who would find fault here! If I could have awarded six stars I would!

Really great bathroom (shower was excellent and Elemis toiletries were lovely). Very comfy bed with fluffy duvet. Air con worked well on the humid evening, so slept very well. Room was spacious and a Nespresso coffee pod machine was a nice touch. The breakfast the next morning was excellent - choices of milks was a treat not seen in every hotel too. Great location, easy to find. Smooth check-in/out with friendly staff. The hotel's bar was great too. I wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future.

Hotel was modern, clean and stylish. Room was spacious and stylish with a comfortable bed with great pillows. Staff were lovely Location was good Good value in comparison with other hotels

We did not have a city view and instead looked right into an office block (next time I would ask for a room that faced a different direction) Sitting in hotel bar at night and especially next morning for breakfast it was a little cool. I appreciate it was very cold outside and the cost of gas/ electric just now but would appreciate the heating to be turned up a little to feel comfortable Providing a robe in the room is always an improvement

location was perfect for our arrival into the central train station; lots of restaurants easily accessible

It was very warm in the two adjoining rooms we had. We turned both thermostats down but it didn’t feel like anything changed. Could not feel air moving. We opened the windows. We told the front desk agent who went in the office and told me something was on the wrong setting, that she’d “reset it” to “coldest setting.” Nothing changed in the room after that either.

The room was large and very comfortable. All the facilities were up to date and pleasing.

The room was not cleaned on two days of my stay although I did get new towels even though I had hung them up to use them again. Neither the basin nor the WC were freshened up. We decided to dine at the restaurant and were given micro-waved dishes and no gluten free options on the bread. Very disappointing.

The room was very comfortable and had good amenities. The staff were excellent. Quick, easy check in and always happy to chat and answer questions about the area. Fiona is great at her job and a lovely person. Breakfast was great.

The weather in Scotland was unusually hot for May and the AC in the room wasn't powerful enough to cool the room quickly. But the weather was fabulous so that's a very minor negative.

The room was very spacious. It was beautifully decorated and had a lovely big shower room. The bed was a good size and very comortable. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room and a mini fridge, which came in handy to keep our Prosecco chilled. The hotel is in walking distance from the main shopping centre, bars and reataurants. We really enjoyed our cooked breakfast in the morning, with some options made fresh to order. It was a wee bonus to get freshly made warm pancakes too! The staff were very helpful, particularly a lovely waiter who took time to explain the menu to us and looked after us. We had a fantastic stay, which was super value for money, and we will definitely stay again.

Lovely room, beds were very comfortable. We had a twin room and had a double bed each. Fridge in room with bottled water which was replenished which we were grateful for. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. We overlooked the main Street but even with the window open it wasn't noisy after 10pm. Location was excellent only a 5 min walk from train station. Excellent stay, thank you.

Only 1 grumble. We ate in the hotel one evening as we were too tired to go back out again. Having experienced a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast we were confident the evening meal would be of the same standard, oh dear! We both ordered fish and chips. When they arrived everything was obviously frozen to start with. The 'fish' was triangular and was not fish at all but mushed pieces of brown stuff probably left over bits of something swept from the floor. It was very cheap rubbish. We were very disappointed.

Very comfy bed, very good staff and excellent breakfast!

The shower room was a little tired from wear and tear, could do with some TLC. The walls between rooms were thin, I could hear people speaking very clearly in the bedroom next door, this may not have been helped by there being an adjoining door between the bedrooms. The ironing board was missing from my room so I had to call reception, but they were super quick in providing it :)
