The breakfast was excellent quality and hot option was perfect. Very good value for money.

I was unclear on the methods of payment which were excepted. The afternoon receptionist told me card wasn't accepted when I clearly saw another client pay by card. Then the night staff told me cash wasn't accepted. I like this to be clear to staff the refusal of me paying by card made me feel untrusted as if the money wouldn't be on my account.

Spotlessly clean and fresh. Modern decor and good breakfast. Great location. Reception very accommodating when we required a slightly later check-out at 12. Comfy bed with extra pillows. Handy electric fan/heater available, which we used on cold to ventilate the room better as there's no air con in the room. Breakfast had a great selection with nice hot and cold options available.

Nothing much we didnt like but it was warm...What looks like an air con in the room is not an air con. Is it an air cooling system? If outside temperature is above 21 degrees it will automatically kick in, this won't be on much in Glasgow but during our stay it was 19-20 degrees so very warm and couldn't turn on any cool air. Window has restricted opening, which is understandable for safety but didn't help much with ventilation in the room. Great coffee machine at breakfast but requires better instructions to use. Not very clear, but eventually got a cracking coffee.

- The hotel was in a good location. There are plenty of takeaways and bars nearby as well as a small supermarket. You can't hear the noise from the bars so don't worry - It is a 10 minute walk to the city centre; just stay on Bath Street - The hotel room was lovely and spotless! Housekeeping staff do a fantastic job. The shower is HOT so if you like hot showers you won't be disappointed, of course you can adjust it to your own liking and if you forget your shower gel/shampoo then don't worry as they provide them in the showers. There is also hand-wash at the sink too. The bathroom consists of a toilet, small sink with a light up mirror and there's space next to the sink to leave your toiletries and you are given two towels and a smaller hand towel. Housekeeping replenish these when you want them to clean your room - There's a kettle in the room and sachet tea, coffee inc decaff, sugars/sweeteners and milk which again housekeeping will replenish when they clean your room. There's a flatscreen TV with Freeview channels and a small wardrobe to hang your coat and other items and you can store your suitcase there so it's out of the way. There's also a full length mirror and hairdryer. - Mattress was a little hard for my liking but I still had a great sleep and the pillows and cover was comfortable and kept me warm. There's an air con unit which you don't need to adjust as it'll either heat or cool your room depending on the outside temperature. Once the curtains are shut and the lights are off the room is pitch black, you can't see your hand in front of your face. I like it like that but if needs be you can either leave the curtain open a little bit to let in some light or leave the light on in the bathroom and close the door - In the lobby there's a bar where you can take the drinks back to your room and there's also a seating area I have uploaded some photos.

Nothing comes to mind. I was lucky enough to have quiet people in the rooms next to me and I didn't have breakfast included in my stay so I can't comment on that.

The size of the room matched our expectations with a nice decor, a very nice welcome kit with a few local treats (that was really nice considering we had just arrived in Scotland). Bathroom had very nice toiletries (soap and shampoo) and everything was very clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Location was very nice - we walked to the hotel from the central station easily and from there to a lot of nice places (we did not use any means of transportation during our stay in Glasgow, we just walked everywhere). We had breakfast there in the first day (Ibis was using the Novotel restaurant structure at the time) and it was just great (eggs, bacon, sausages, some types of bread and beverages, cereals, yogurt, porridge, etc). Easy check-in and check-out.

The main staff down stairs at reception was so friendly and helpful made us feel very welcomed. We came from london so we was a bit nervous as it was our first time here but nothing to worry about. If you need any help from the staff send them a message via what's app and they will respond very quickly. Room nice a nice size and had everything we needed in there

Only thing we didn't like is that the cleaning staff gave us the same re used towels the day before we was leaving. We requested a room clean the day before our flight as we didn't want it the day after we arrived the room was still clean . So the next day we just took sheets and towels from the cleaners and did it our self but we did requèsted a room clean the day before leaving . We left our rooms and came back and found that they only fixed the beds no new sheets or clean towels.

Really easy to get too, nice and central, close to all everything you need, shops when coming home late for snacks, close enough to the Hydro to walk there and back. staff were excellent, super helpful and informative. beds super super comfy, genuinely wanted to take the whole thing home with us. rooms nice, clean and modern and a lot better than what we expected for what we paid. I usually stay at the one at Springfield Quay but will be constantly back to this one from now on. my partner particularly loved the pancake machine at breakfast (pretty sure it made the whole trip for him)

literally 3 things and this is only because I work in a hotel so I’m being super super picky. the toilet makes a racket when flushing and as a 7 month pregnant lady I woke my partner up multiple times a night. the shower had shower gel running down under the shower gel holder (me being super super picky here). breakfast was a bit mental and products weren’t being refilled as quick as they probably should be HOWEVER I fully understand that it was busy and staffing may have been an issue so ultimately isn’t a problem for us personally. None of these are major, just maybe things to consider and as said we’ll be back next time we’re in Glasgow.

Just enough room. Check in was easy. We arrived early and left our bags there while we started to explore. They gave us an option of a room right away but told us of construction on that side of the building (appreciated the heads up and let us choose) The location was comfortable to visit both east and west sides of the city and close to two attractions we were eager to visit - Tennament house and Mackintosh at the Willows tea rooms. Easily got more hangers on request. Helpful and friendly staff.

Lack of a few drawers to put our clothes. The closet was a bit awkward to use. More hooks in the room would have been helpful as well

Reception Staff were excellent. Room ideal for my needs.

Breakfast in the next door hotel was a trial. The room was very near capacity with residents. The coffee machine did not work so used the instant coffee facility to discover the milk dispenser was empty. Went to get a glass for juice but none, so had to use a coffee mug. I tried to get an orange juice and only water came out of the spout! The Staff seemed to be overstretched. Food was good which was a plus. I appreciate that the sound volume on the TV in the rooms is restricted, but for someone with impaired hearing this was an issue. I could not get subtitles to switch on.

Location was good, close too most attractions. Just don't use cash points on sauchiehall Street as you will get robbed.

The fact I hadn't been told breakfast wasn't being served in the ibis hotel when booking, also card payments for everything like drinks, snacks in hotel. Also the level off construction noice from the building site across the road off the hotel. Pavements broken ,cracked, uneven especially for elderly or like myself in a wheelchair I found it hard too get about. Night time staff can be rude and insulting if you have disabilities so be aware. Day time staff are much better and are very friendly, helpful.

- amazing customer service: our first room had a bad sewage smell, but the reception staff was prompt to address our issue. We were moved to a different room and even given 2 complimentary drinks. - really good location if you are going to the theatre - room had everything you’d need - they validate parking (small discount) at the nearby city park (5 mins walking) - really good breakfast with plenty of choice

- building works nearby. However, we weren’t disturbed by any noise
