The room was lovely. It was well catered for. It was en-suite with complimentary shampoo/shower gel, hand wash and a wet room style shower. It was very clean and comfortable (super beds). There was a large double bed...probably king size, with a single bed. A two seater sofa, a small kitchenette area with kettle, toaster etc. Full range of coffee/tea and a few biscuits. Linda (the owner) couldn't do enough to make sure we had what we needed. She even offered us transport to and from Blenkinsopp Castle Inn (where we fancied for dinner) on the first night so that I (the driver) could have a nice meal and a wee glass of wine. Wydon Farm was a B&B and the breakfasts were amazing and plentiful. It is in such a central location.....much nicer than staying in any of the many establishments that were in the town of Haltwhistle itself. This is a working farm so you do hear the farmer out on his quad bikes in the morning, the sheep and the horses but for us that just made it all the better.

We just happened to be staying in a few of the days that had exceptionally good weather which was a little hot and muggy. So although the room had doors that were styled as stable doors so you could open the top half - this wasn't something I was keen to do overnight whilst we were sleeping and there wasn't a window that we could open a little and feel secure during the night so it was a little stuffy overnight....but this is such a little thing......everything else was a complete positive for this stay. Wydon Farm B&B is a little treasure.

Linda picked us up from Housesteads Roman fort on our Hadrian's Wall walk which was absolutely lovely at the end of a 20 km hike - the end of which was in the pouring rain. The room was lovely with comfortable bed, TV and cooking facilities such as a microwave and a fridge etc. Breakfast was in the house and cooked by Linda - amazing farm produce - we waddled out of there in the mornings! Thank you so much Linda for having us!

The only thing that could be installed into the room to improve it would be a sink in order to wash one's dishes up. Apart from that everything was very comfortable.

The room was in a beautiful old stone building that was well fitted out with a very comfortable King size bed. The breakfast was served in the main dinning room of a very beautiful home. The meal included a large variety of choices and the hot meals where all individually prepared to perfection. The setting and views were lovely and quiet and our hosts went out of their way to help us with a rental car problem even helping to transport us locally while the car was out of commission . Our hosts Linda and John could not have been more friendly and helpful.

This is a working farm with converted outbuildings. We stayed in the Willow Room which has a 4 poster bed and a whirlpool bath. Very comfortable and peaceful. Wydon Farm is close enough to walk to Haltwhistle The breakfast is divine. You name it, they have it! We will be back as soon as we can!

We didn’t dislike anything. Maybe a small table and some crockery/cutlery for evening snacks would be good. This is not a big thing. We loved our stay

Great breakfasts, lots of choice and excellent croissants and home made pancakes. Fresh farm eggs and more! Our room was exceptionally well equipped, with en suite shower room and kitchen area including a fridge and microwave. Warm welcome from hosts Linda and John and lots of tips for local places to visit and where to eat out. You won't find a better b and b!

Nothing, it was great all round

Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed an outstanding lamb roast dinner, then breakfast in the morning was also excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable. A very quiet and relaxing spot in the countryside near Haltwhistle.

We were pleased to have the option of dinner on site as the trek back into Haltwhistle was longer than we expected.

A gorgeous location to immerse yourself in the countryside (loved the sheep just across the path!). Room was fab, comfy bed, big TV with Netflix, clean wet room/toilet, very tasty biscuits with tea and coffee. All staff were very helpful and the amount of information on the local area, places to visit and eat was second to none!!! The breakfast was incredible with so much choice. We had pancakes, fruit, options of cereal etc. and I had an omelette, my partner had a full English. Couldn’t fault it! Would love to come back in Summer when we can explore more.

Honestly… nothing! You get what you expect! It is dog friendly so bare that in mind. I am actually allergic to dogs (ours doesn’t malt) and didn’t get any allergy symptoms - go figure!

Linda was a wonderful host picking us up from Housesteads at the end of an exhausting day's walk. Breakfasts were amazing. Bed was comfortable. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

The only one thing that could be added would be a sink in the room so the room would have a proper kitchenette. That is the only thing - otherwise everything was wonderful
