Village Hotel Manchester Hyde

Everything really. Staff were friendly professional knowledgeable about the area the reception staff were very professional easy to get along with and nothing really phased them. The cleaners were very pleasant and I had a good chat with a few of them and they said they wished more guests where like myself as I cleaned up my room made mu own bed washed out the bath every time I used it and I made sure there was little for them to do. They were very good with me and they were really lovely people.

Unfortunately I had a skin reaction to the bedding. My excema has not flared up in almost 20 years. The bedding is taken away and washed in industrial detergent and starch and it was very sore. I explained to a cleaner named Anne, and she did her utmost to find me softer bedding and she was very pleasant professional and understanding. I really enjoyed my time here.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Village Hotel Hyde, largely thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by the team. From the warm and welcoming receptionists who made check-in a breeze, to the talented kitchen staff who prepared delicious Breakfast and the attentive spa team who ensured a relaxing experience, every aspect of my visit was met with professionalism and care. The staff's dedication to making guests feel comfortable and valued truly set this experience apart. I left with a sense of rejuvenation and gratitude, and I look forward to returning to Village Hotel Hyde in the future

I couldn't honestly find something I disliked about my stay.

Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Gym was great to say it was part of a hotel but could do with some more plates for the barbells. Very clean and again, lovely staff. The young blonde lady that checked us in and was on over the weekend was excellent! Always smiling.

Breakfast was disappointing: we sat down at 09:30 and there was nothing left. However, after speaking with the young host, she informed the kitchen and within 10 minutes they'd brought out fresh beans / eggs ect for my partner. As a vegan, there wasn't a lot of choice and sadly my sausages were dry and quite tough, but imagine they don't have much of a demand for them (the Starbucks however did a very scrummy vegan bap!) The lady serving was very nice but was having a rather loud phone call whilst also serving and eventually told her friend she'd call her back. Small point we hadn't planned for was also no USB ports and the only sockets being on the one side of the room. We bought a plug however and it was fine. Very small details that didn't detract from a good stay.

fabulous facilities, super clean and very helpful staff. receptionists we’re so friendly and helpful, bar staff exactly the same, cleaners and room service all very professional and nothing was too much for them all. Same goes for the staff at the gym and pool. Room was stifling hot and the doors slam so Loud! there was also a prom on til the wee early hours - screaming teenagers = no sleep. All of this is nobodies fault of corse and we would 100% stay again. thanks to all staff for making the stay enjoyable

I loved the location, central for all Trustees ftom Cheshire and Yorkshire. The staff were super helpful and friendly, if there was a problem the were quick to help. The food was nice snd the seating area outside was very welcome in this heat. Many of my friends used the pool and said it was fab, others used the gym and were equally impressed.

I booked all 8 rooms and wanted to pre pay the process was so complicated. I found myself explaining our circumstances over and over. After all the explaining and painful pre check in, the order for breakfast was still wrong and our charity ended up paying for 5 too many breakfasts. That's £50 and the cost of an anti suffocation pillow for epilepsy. I'm waiting for a reply about a refund. I had breakfast, arrived at 8.45. I had to find someone to ask for more hot food, everything was running out. There was no weetabix left. It was a little disappointing.

Nice looking hotel in very good condition. Plenty of facilities, swimming pool, gym, nice bar/restaurant, friendly staff, good breakfast/dining room. Added bonus of an onsite Starbucks... Plenty of parking spaces. Room had everything needed for a pleasant stay & - very importantly for a winter stay - room was pleasantly warm.

I cannot think of anything that was a downside for me. The location may have not have suited some people, but I was going to a wedding which was a very short drive away.

I was really surprised by this hotel, which is apparently the very first Village hotel. The guy at reception was great, very friendly, and put the sofa bed down in my room within 5 minutes of asking as I didn't need it. Comfy, clean bed. Great nights sleep.

Towel rail didn't work well and was last tested in 2018!? Bottom of bathroom door splintered which could be dangerous. One of the bathroom spotlights kept going off.

A beautiful hotel run by excellent staff, who were super friendly and informative when asked about the area and its surroundings. Really clean, WiFi worked really well and the facilities are well maintained. We love it and booked an extra 3 nights stay.

Breakfast was a bit hit and miss depending on what time you arrived. Oneday perfectly delicious and next day, cold and overcooked so pick your times (go early) I also think as a guest the carpark should be included in the price along with the hotel swimming pool. It wasn't exorbitant only £5 pounds per room to swim or £5 per day for carpark but that soon adds up when you are staying in several rooms with family.

Booked through yourselves and paid through you as instructed then the guy at reception said it hadn't gone through and nothing he could do to help ! Quite rude to my partner as I heard as I was on the phone to make sure she got in ok as it was in my name.

Very helpful when checking in, helpful when visiting the pool and overall good experience! Room was just the right size, had a lovely bath and shower. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room were all amazing!

Whilst relaxing after dinner, someone knocked our door and entered then swiftly left once realising people were inside. Partner went and checked and was housekeeping.
