Beach Green Hotel

The staff were exceptional, especially the young female manager. Outstanding customer care, attentive, attention to detail and really helpful. Right on the beach front. Food was great too, again exceptional service, despite there being a large function in the main dining room. Garden is large and dogs are welcome. Lots of parking immediately opposite.

A little tired looking in places. Wobbly shower door, slightly wonky velux blind tended to pop open. Very steep stairs (we were right up in the roof, though the room itself was great). A bit noisy due to traffic noise, but was v warm and we slept with all the windows open.

Didn't eat an evening meal at the hotel but the food on the menu looked very good. Did have breakfast and it was delicious-would recommend it. One of the party is a coeliac and the owner was very knowledgeable about what food they had available for them. This included gluten free bread. All of the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Had a sea view which was great. Could park overnight off site but it was just over the road and could see my car from the room. Caught the local train to Brighton. Station approx. 10 mins walk and regular trains into Brighton.

Room got very hot in the night-couldn't open a window until the morning as it was quite noisy from the main road.

This place is so welcoming and friendly, we felt at home from the first moment. (Pub dog Rocky was gorgeous too and let us have a wee cuddle!) The Pub and the rooms are spotless, spacious and well decorated and maintained, with an airy, modern feel. The staff are lovely, and there's a genuinely welcoming and relaxed feeling from staff and local pub clients. We were 2 gay women and had zero hassle or awkwardness, we felt totally at ease in the pub, which has a nice mix of friendly regulars and casual drop- ins. Food is interesting, contemporary, with plenty of choices for vegetarian or vegan. The beach is about 20 metres away and the town is also right on the doorstep. We will be back here for a little overnight treat of dinner, drinks and bed. Perfect place for a seaside minibreak.

Honestly? Nothing. Cannot find fault with this well-run pub hotel.

The room was lovely. The staff were superb and the location was ideal for us. Our second visit and we would stay again.

Wasn't so much what we didn't like but sadly we couldn't sit in the bar as it was quite busy We were on the third floor which was ok for us but if anyone has any sort of disability it would be advisable to mention it when booking as there are rooms on the ground floor. This was our second stay and both our rooms have been lovely. We needed to have breakfast at 8am due to family commitments as they don't start until after 8.30am on weekends we popped down the road to the Rainbow Cafe which is a short walk or drive. There is parking on the road near by or there is a beach car park opposite. During the summer payment is up to 10pm, I don't know about winter times.

Top notch breakfast cooked to perfection. Nice, well stocked rooms, great view. Good staff, very accommodating. Comfy bed, choice of pillows. Location is spot on. Busy road but quiet indoors. Good size tv. Nice table and chairs in room. Well presented. USB plugs a bonus. New and quality carpet in bedrooms. Good water pressure in shower.

Grout in shower was a bit grotty and mastic needs bleach. woodwork paint needs attention as either worn or dirty. It looks like it is undergoing some updating so I won't comment on stair carpet or staircase decoration as that would be unfair. Shower caddy needs replacing. Nothing major as work done is good.

The staff were absolutely lovely and really made us feel welcome and very well looked after. They are the stars of the show. 💙 We had lunch and decided to have dinner here too because the meals were so delicious and fresh, plus the options were excellent with a bit of pzazz to the usual pub menu offerings. The large garden was great to relax in and the location perfect as just a short stroll from the beach and convenience store. We loved how welcome our furry friend was made to feel being free to go in all the areas. We stayed in room 6 and it had a lovely view and was light and airy.

What didn't I like? I didn't like leaving! 💙

Great room overlooking the seafront and the location couldn't have been any better. Left the car in the public car park opposite (it's a Ringo) and everything we wanted was within easy walking distance. Used the train to travel to Worthing and Brighton to save the driving around and finding a parking space. The room was very comfortable with a good sized double bed and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure. As we used the hotel as a base we didn't eat or drink there. On our last morning we walked along the beach side path towards Shoreham which was very nice. The host was very welcoming and check-in was easy and straightforward.

The room was spacious and clean. The decor of the bar was particulally to my liking, but may not suit everyone. We had one breakfast which we really enjoyed.

We booked for an evening meal and unfortunately tge chef had a problem and had to leave but we were not informed until we went down ready to order but ee then had to go the local Harvester. But it hasnt put us off planning our anniversary break there in August.

There was a beautiful sea view from our room. The staff were friendly and the service was good. We only had loaded chips but these were tasty. The warm weather allowed us to enjoy our drinks in the sunny garden. The wifi was excellent when we finally mastered the code!!

Hotel is situated on a busy roundabout and a bit noisy if the windows are open. There is no car park but £4 to park all day in a nearby one was ok. Warning this can become busy and difficult to get a space. This hotel was quite expensive but maybe add on another £10 and include breakfast.

my third time staying with you guys and again it was lovely. the food is outstanding and the hotel itself is in a great place for heading to Brighton or just enjoying the beach at lancing. the staff are great and very attentive, can’t do enough for you. can’t wait to visit again.

Room 1 - curtains need sorting as they have come off the rail and won’t close properly!!!
