Artist Residence Brighton

Lovely room, nice view for the second night I was really impressed with the architecture and rhe interior design. The staff had an easy going but professionally accountable attitude. I think they encourage you to make the beat put ofnyour stay.im.very glad that I chose this residence for my short stay it was a good help to me and a little of what I needed to relax and to have a break.the staff were friendly and although quintessentially English they were welcoming g to all nations as I am not quintessentially English but from the UK. I also thought that their breakfasts were very good.top I would aay having an open kitchen for ervjce was a really good part of the design of the downstairs.the garden was good too the court yard atvthe back. Thank-you there are rooms rhat are ideal for hen parties to Brighton as well. Many thanks to the really understanding staff o. Call during the time.

Not too much that I didn't like.it all seemed quite good but the wi fi that I have on my own phone the signal didn't reach tithe first room that I was staying in there was no signal. But apart from that a lovely place to stay beautiful surroundings on my second night the room yhebat I had was just perfect for me ,and my needs thank you again " thr artists reaidence".

We had a great stay here - the room was very bijoux, having the balcony to sit out on was a lovely addition, and the little homely touches were good quality (slippers and robes, tea, coffee, toiletries, etc). The staff were really lovely, the bar/breakfast room on the ground floor had lovely decor and a very chill atmosphere for an evening drink / breakfast in the a.m. In terms of location, there's an underground carpark directly opposite which was expensive but v convenient, and you can easily walk from here to any of the central sights and shops in Brighton and Hove.

Due to the age of the building and the fact it's been converted (rather than purpose built) it was a bit noisy from the stairwell and the floor above us when other guests arrived home in the wee hours. Our mini fridge in the room wasn't quite working properly but I informed the hotel of this when we left (so hopefully that was fixed straight away!)

An amazing little gem of a room with a fantastic view. The bed is very comfortable tiny room has facilities, perfect if you’re going out in Brighton. The hotel itself has a lovely bath and good location opposite the car park which is separate and you have to pay for.

The bathroom has a sliding door which doesn’t close fully so you could hear someone going to the loo etc. if you’re not shy no problem it’s a little gem of a room!

Always great to find a boutique hotel which offers that little bit of difference. Loved the concept of an artist designing each room. Ours did not let us down and had a great little balcony to sit and just enjoy the outlook and sunshine. Hotel had lots to offer the visitor or the business person. Breakfast was delicious. Staff brightened your day- you were lovely lovely! A place we’d come back to again and would thoroughly recommend!

We booked this as a last minute night away over jubilee weekend and stayed in the ground floor apartment which had the most gorgeous sea views. We absolutely loved our stay, everything from the decor to the furnishings and little details really made it a night to remember. We had breakfast in the hotel the following morning and the staff couldn't be more accommodating in giving in to my children's various food requests, food was absolutely delicious. I have already looked up the locations for all the other hotels in the group and plan on visiting them all.

The communal areas are beautiful with a great cocktail & drinks list, expertly prepared. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Great location. Comfy bed, great bathroom products, ultra clean; not a single cobweb anywhere in the high ceiling. Powerful shower and good use of space.

No soundproofing whatsoever. Put in a pair of ear plugs and had a great night's sleep.

Very cool spot- right near the water with good views and very stylish interiors. We stayed in the smallest room with a balcony which was tiny but gorgeous and very atmospheric. Great bar and cocktails which can be enjoyed in the stylish lounge or in your room- we enjoyed watching the sun set from our balcony with a whisky sour. Breakfast was also excellent.

Nit cheap given the size of the room. Staff were a bit too cool for school

Very well appointed room, immaculate linen. Some of the comfiest pillows I’ve ever slept on. Room was a thoughtful collection of comforting, quality items, original features and stylish decor Robes, slippers, Nespresso (they get 5* for the tunnocks bar alone) and lovely products in bathroom It’s going to be hard for me to fault x

If I’m being super picky…. Room was mayyybee a tad compact, resulting in a rug/bathroom door interface issue, and rearward view was ‘industrial’ …these are comments more than faults Back to positives - it was v good value for Brighton, I was only there for one night, and certainly wasn’t expecting vistas of Babylonian gardens. :)

The two rooms we stayed in were of a high quality and with sea views, loved the artworks in the communal areas and on the stairwells. The breakfast we had on the two mornings of our stay were good with one of our party having the best eggs florentine they had ever tasted. All the staff were brilliant and very helpful. Would definitely recommend the Artist Residence Brighton. If you want a B&B with a difference-this is the one!
