The staff were really nice and friendly and the room was comfortable. Although the furniture etc has seen better days, it is clean

It is more a hostel than a hotel, so I would have liked that made clearer when it was advertised. I paid to upgrade the room when I got there so we could have a private bathroom, otherwise we'd have had to share a bathroom. I should have checked about the bathroom before I booked to be fair, but as Ive never had to check that before for a regular hotel. I wouldn't not recommend the place, I'd just have liked to know it's more a hostel

Just opposite the Wood Green underground station it is an ideal location just 7 stops from Kings’s Cross/St Pancras. They have no breakfast included but there are several great breakfast places in the area, one of them just nextdoor. Value for money (just 100€ per night for a private room for 2 with spacious bathroom) is good, lively atmosphere at night because at night the lobby changes to a Japanese Sushi restaurant Oita, they have another location in Soho. Really good sushi (mainly famous for deepfried stuff) with a drink just before you go sleeping, amazing…

When you sleep bad because of noise, this is not your place. The busstop is in front of the hotel and there is a busy road junction not far away. Also they are rooms for longstay, so in weekends the locals tend to have small parties as well…

Staff were lovely. Food smelt amazing although I didn’t get a chance to eat here. For value the rooms are basic but perfect for your needs.

The room temperature seems to fluctuate a lot, heating crazy high but with windows wide open. There was a window stuck open in my room, which made laying in bed a bit drafty. Considering my duration of stay I didn’t try to address with reception. But I’m sure they would have helped. Something the hotel couldn’t help - it is in a busy location. If you’re not used to noise/traffic/sirens you will hear this. Again, no fault of the hotel. Just me being a delicate flower from the countryside.

Beds were very comfy and room spotless clean. Warm rooms and corridors. Very friendly staff

We travelled for a weekend in London, to an open air event at Finsbury Park. The Green Rooms are just a two minute walk from Wood Green tube station :) Upon on arrival we were welcomed by the lovely staff of the Green Rooms, who couldn't do enough for us from arrival to departure, - a real credit to you. Room was spacious, basic, clean, tidy and the bed & pillows the comfiest we have ever slept on ! We had the most wonderful nights sleep! Breakfast was another bonus - i have a terrible sweet tooth and the most delicious sweet treats were on display for you to choose, agreed all of them would of complimented by breakfast tea. As this was our first visit, we were extremely happy with choice of venue and we will be retuning to The Green Rooms on our next visit to London.

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Super quick handover for bags and keys, polite and overall felt safe and trustworthy. We were attending a festival, so we went to the hotel around 10 AM and they let us check in our bag with them and gave us a ticket to collect it when we came back. We then returned around 11 PM and the restaurant which it's attached to was still open. We were told that morning that if the venue had closed we just had to ring a number on the door for someone to let us in as well, just for anyone wondering. The room was generally spacious, including the bathroom. The room felt clean and airy, the windows had been left open a bit so it wasn't stuffy and it obviously isn't cold in the UK at the moment. I honestly forgot to take pictures because we were so exhausted from our day, but I was thankful we had booked somewhere good. There were plenty of towels for us to use for the shower and there were also complimentary soaps and shower gels attached to the bathroom walls. It's also literally a 1-minute walk from WoodGreen station which as I say, we were knackered so that was a relief as well. There are also some nice affordable places to eat around, we recommend Kantin Kitchen for breakfast. Overall, we would definitely stay again as it's outside "central London" so it's not stupidly busy and expensive, but it's very well connected.

The mattress could have been a touch comfier and maybe have 2 pillows for one person instead of 1, but I could have possibly gone and asked for another one as well, I was just exhausted. This is a subjective matter and I say we would definitely stay again.

Brilliant location and fantastic price! Room was lovely, staff were friendly, facilities were good. We stayed tor 1 night for a concert at Alexandra Palace and the location was fab, just a 15 minute walk away.

The bed in our double room was quite small. It had a comfortable matress & bedding but seemed narrower then a standard double bed. It was difficult to fit myself and my partner... we both ended up rolling off the side a couple of times in the night

I have been staying in a few different hostels and can surely say that Green Rooms is my all-time favorite. I was really surprised straight when I entered the coziest lobby/cafe. The staff was brilliant, too. They were very welcoming and friendly. The location is also perfect - right next to the tube station which takes you to the centre in 20 minutes. When I went to the room I had a feeling that this hostel was built by travelers for travelers. Everything had a thought behind it. The beds are built with little platforms around the mattress, so that you can store your stuff there, the sockets are right beside your pillow and the walls are built so that you don’t fell like you are sleeping next to 11 strangers. Moreover, even the top level of the bed is built in such a hight that a person below you would not disturb you when standing near the bed. WOW, privacy in a hostel! Also, showers are placed inside of separate cabins and are clean with body wash present! Lastly, the mattress… It felt like I was sleeping on a little cloud. Honestly, the bed was one of the most comfortable ones in my life. Thank you, Green Rooms! You will definitely be my choice for next trips to London (until I get rich 😅)

The location was great for us – we were going to an event at the Alexander Palace which is only a 10–15 minute walk. There’s stores and restaurants close by. A shared bathroom isn’t ideal, but they are clear about this in the booking and the bathroom itself was clean and perfectly fine. I would recommend this hotel and I would consider staying again if I was planning another trip for the Alexander Palace.

The rooms were nice but basic. They had no a set of drawers but no hangers for clothes. There was no hair dryer in the room or in the bathroom. The rooms also had no tea/coffee facilities.
