When I booked the currency was in Euros , by confirming ,the price changed to Pound sterling and I got no choice to confirm my booking only by using Paypal .As a result I lost 30€ !!.I lost my time by making complains, by sending copies of the screen ,bank proof etc etc at the end i lost my time for nothing

The bed was comfortable. Everything about my stay was just OK.

Booking.com gave me the option pay now or pay at property. After reading T&C's it became apparent that payment was needed prior to arrival or no key code access granted. Emailed proprietor to sort but no response. After several emails/txts allowed me to pay online. He did apologise later. No en suite rooms. Limited parking.

The bedroom was a good size and the bed had such a comfortable mattress and pillows. The sheets and towels were clean and felt fresh and there were also comfortable chairs to sit on. The entrance to the guest house was clean and welcoming and the stairs weren't steep. There are two bathrooms which are cleaned well daily and there's a bath and two showers. Even though they were shared between the residents I felt very comfortable using them as they were sanitary and welcoming. There's a shop across the road for groceries and the town centre is about a 15 minute walk (or there's a bus stop right outside the guest house). There's loads of food options in the town centre and a variety of places to go and have a drink. Whilst we didn't socialise in that area we did get food from there to eat in the room and I was happy with the choice available as a vegan. The tube station was a bit of a way from the house but there are busses if needed. We came in to London via Euston station and it was a bit of a trek to take public transport so I'd probably drive to the house next time as there's some parking available or more on a side street without permits required. I'd definitely stay there again!

Very few things. The only things I think could be improved on woukd be to have a bath mat on the floor in front of the showers in the bathrooms and the top floor shower was more enjoyable to use than the middle floor one due to it being tap fed rather than electric. Small details though and for the price I paid I'm really happy with the overall quality.

Enjoyed our stay and was a reasonable priced room, within a short distance to commuting to Central London. Very speedy check-in with a message received with instructions (key fobs on wall) to enter the property. Bed was comfortable and a spacious room. Will definitely look at returning as familiar with the town and local area.

The only issue we had was the other guests who seemed to slam the doors shut! Maybe having a door on a soft close spring maybe as it was late at night/early in morning. Also, having an occupied sign on the bathroom as you don't know if someone is inside.

I left too early to have breakfast. Location was 20 minutes cycle from where I was working.

The shower was a bit hit and miss. Several times, it showed the LP low pressure warning on the display. Sometimes the pressure returned of its own accord. Sometimes, I had to turn it on and off until the LP warning disappeared and the flow was restored.

Breakfast perfect for us. Don't recall giving a preference of having a quiet room so can't complain about being at the front of the house by the main road - have forgotten how busy the roads are 24/7 ! Thank you guys - so glad I found Kathleen House!

Only thing to mention is that the keyring for the front door key needs replacing - but this is not a complaint or a moan 🙂

Excellent value for money. We stayed in room 5 at the top of the house. Room was small but comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. We forgot that breakfast was included so missed out on that. Checkin processes works ok but is is a little lengthy as you have to wait for a text to get a front door key and then use a code to get into your room. It would be good to get this in advance. We had a wedding to get to and were tight on time so it was a bit stressful having to chase up for the code to get in when it wasn’t sent at the agreed time. It’s great to have free parking but there are only 2 spaces and parking is quite tight. The town centre is a short walk away. As the property is on the main road there is traffic noise if you have the windows open. This didn’t bother us and is no worse than you would expect anywhere in London. Great at the price and would recommend .

It was our fault we forgot that breakfast was included but a reminder would have been helpful. Maybe breakfast times could be included in the checkin text. We appreciated the early checkin but were disappointed when the checkin code didn’t arrive on time and meant we were running late.

It's a lovely property on a fairly quiet road. Nice off road parking and very secure. The owner gave good instructions on how to enter the property and was available to assist me when we had a problem. We stayed in the loft conversion and it was lovely. Didn't even mind the shared bathroom as it was gorgeous. I would highly recommend.

If it could have been a bit nearer the TH Stadium that would have been ideal.

Loved the ease of acces and instructions to the property, everything was well explained and as described. Loved how clean and comfortable the place was. All available as you need it.

Maybe need a sign or reflective number on fence outside, arrived late and place was hard to find in the dark drove past several times.

Not applicable only Monday to Friday. Stayed 1 night weekend.

Noise from outside due to the traffic on a busy road immediately outside bedroom window, this was typical of a London Suburb other guests slamming bedroom doors which was not what you would expect.
