Forest House Hotel

The warm welcome we received was second to none, we was made to feel right at home straight away like part of the family. The room and hotel was kept spotlessly clean & tidy. We slept really well on the most comfortable bed yet and the shower was amazing.They even had secure parking which really helped us a lot. But make sure to enter the car park heading west bound off of the A406 (North Circular) to avoid the dreaded £12.50 ULEZ CHARGE! I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be looking to book again in the future.

The staff was friendly, attentive and very helpful and accommodating. Helpful with arranging taxi service for daily transportation and providing good and reasonably priced places to eat. Location was fairly near to venue for work. Room came with good amenities.

As no lift available for upper floors, I was accommodated on the street level floor, near to reception office and entrance off busy, noisy street. However, there is 24/7 staffing and a secure coded entry. Shower flooring was slippery with slow drainage. Room was warm, no air conditioning but remedied by ceiling and portable floor fan which was made immediately available.

Staff were incredibly kind and helpful - always happy and we really appreciated the conversation! Room was clean and well ventilated which we were glad to find out as we stayed during a heatwave. Tea and coffee in the room, a TV, a comfy bed - can’t complain!

The only thing we would say is that the ceiling fan didn’t work, although it wasn’t much of a problem since the room was quite cool anyway, but would have been nice to have that extra breeze.

Having lived in the area previously for many years I was surprised that I had never noticed this place previously. The facilities were simple and basic, perfect for my requirements. Room with en-suite, TV, Wi-Fi. Tea/coffee facilities, everything worked, you could adjust heat to suit, fan also if necessary, quite clean, tidy. I booked a twin room. Stayed 3 nights. Local shops were very useful, there are loads of places to eat in the area, I believe they also have small studios if that’s preferable. The best part of the stay were actually the staff, and their great customer service. Arrived early and asked if I could check in early, Nick was great accommodated my request, he just let me know when the room was ready. All staff I encountered were friendly, relaxed and lovely. They created a nice environment to stay in. Ricardo was really helpful, I had a few issues with the access code for the door, but he was always very patient and kind never getting irritated or tired of helping me get in. He would just smile and say that’s what he was there for. I asked for an iron and ironing board he sorted it out. All staff were always smiling and friendly. I was there for my dad’s funeral. It wasn’t an easy time, but the pleasant stay I had at Forest House actually helped with the whole experience. I didn’t get everyone’s name, but thank you to everyone I encountered. I highly recommend Forest House.

Single bed felt quite small but, but ok.

I had a very comfortable bed. Room was perfect for me, clean and the bathroom was really nice. Good water pressure in the shower. Staff were really nice, helpful and cheerful. Location’s perfect, has a 24/7 shop and a bus stop right outside. Overall I enjoyed the stay.

The room I was at was right next to the reception. I got woken up very early all nights of the stay due to people talking at the reception, corridor or the room next to mine. Quite noisy and the walls are really thin. I do not know if anything can be done to ensure sound proofing or at least to make it a bit less noisy, but I’d definitely consider that feedback.

it was nice and clean, the provided a fan in the room which was lovely as it was very hot during our stay. towels provided also nice bathroom. the bed was big and comfy (my partner and I are very tall!) nice long mirror in the bedroom also. staff were always very helpful and nothing too much trouble we ordered a takeaway and had no cutlery the lady at reception was kind enough to grab some for us. there is a bus stop and many shops right on door step including a cafe. also have secure parking. staff asked about our day always smiling was a very pleasant experience

nothing it was perfect for what we needed

We were definitely apprehensive about the place because it was so cheap. However, when we got there the staff were so incredibly kind and welcoming (family owned business so it is extra special). They upgraded our room for free and carried our bags up the stairs for us. Absolutely recommend this place! We felt very safe inside the hotel.

The only negative is the location which of course can’t be helped and much of London looks the same anyway! However, the underground station into the city is only an easy 10-15min walk or 5 minute bus trip away.

Super friendly and helpfull staff. There is 24/7 someone available to help you with your questions. The room and bed were clean. Not new but ok.

the beds are UK standard sizes, that means they will be 140 to 160cm. Even the single beds are a bit smaller then the European standard. Alas this is something that is the case for most hotels in london. Some rooms do have a lot of street noise, but that was not an issue for us as we sleep in with a podcast.

Easy to reach, as it’s in the bus route from wood green tube station. 24x7 check in access was appreciate. Room was as the pictures shown in the site.

Not issues, but the fan which provided was not sufficient due to high temper these days. No lift access, although I requested ground floor room as I have lots of baggages, my stay was upstairs, however the staff was supported to carry bag upstairs😊

Very close to Palmers Green train station and bus stops. Very friendly staff, nice modern interiors and big windows for a small room which made it feel more spacious. Good storage.

Quite small bathroom, but manageable for one night. A third single bed was put in our room, due to lack of hotel storage, which we were warned about. Again, okay for one night, but would be very irritating to lose the room is staying longer.
