Leonardo Royal Hotel London City - Tower of London

Location was fantastic, facilities were excellent. The decor was also very good especially in the common areas. Really liked the pool, excellent facility in a central hotel.

The room was too hot and when you turn on.the A/C the noise is really loud. The bathroom clearly need a bit of modernisation. We couldn't avail of any slippers or bathrobes during our stay, we have asked on several ocassion in person at reception and over the phone. We were told they will send it to our room, but never got it, then we asked again the next day and were told they haven't got any. It is strange when you have a spa and pool and you can't provide the basics. Meanwhile there were a few guests in the pool area with slippers and bathrobes. The lucky ones.

Me and family would highly recommend this Hotel. We have stayed at many hotels in the Capital but this is by far the best. All the Staff were friendly and polite and helped us with all our enquiries (special mention to all the concierge staff who always had a smile and went above and beyond to assist).The Hotel was clean and nicely decorated and the view from our room was fantastic (views of Tower bridge/Tower of London & the Shard). Breakfast was really good (again staff really nice).Pool is clean and spacious. Overall an outstanding hotel (and stay) and me and my family will definitely be coming back.

Excellent hotel

Location! Location! Location! Tower Hill station is within a few steps from the entrance of the Hotel, you can easily commute via tube to all the great destinations in London for shopping, site-seeing or food and drinks. The Hotel is surrounded by decent pubs, restaurants with views of Tower Bridge and a few rooftop bars. The Hotel has a really nice indoor pool area with a sauna. steam room, aroma therapy room and also a Jacuzzi which was not busy at all. If you want a central location, with good views from the rooms facing the tower of London (9th floor and up) that has easy access to public transport and easy access to entertainment then this is one of the best I have stayed in, also its off the beaten track so is not overrun by tourists so has a good balance of quiet and close enough to the busy areas or within a couple tube stops.

Fantastic hotel with good facilities. Great choice for breakfast. Swimming pool and spa very good. I visited a good number of times during my stay. Tower of London right on the doorstep. Ideal location for tube station. I'm sure I will stay here again!

Overall very good but there is definitely room for improvement. Rooms could do with re decorationing, hook on the back of the bathroom door kept falling off. But nonetheless had a great stay.

The location was great. It's very near the tube station. The staff were very attentive. Breakfast was great value.

Needs more soundproofing in the rooms that over look the tube line.

The hotel was clean, great staff,near London City and just 1min away from the underground. After at arrival receiving a very disappointing room litterly inside the tube station, we were moved to a different much better room after complaining.

There is a rooftop bar/club just outside the hotel which plays loud dance music until midnight every single night (Saturday night until 00.30 AM). It is unpleasant and not solved by closing the windows. For whoever is sensitive to noise (like us) should know this before booking. Breakfast had no vegetable nor any salad or something more light and healthy.

The location is excellent! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beds were good, and the housekeeping staff was helpful and extremely friendly. It's a really nice place in a prime location for a city trip without children. However, we were not on a city trip without children but with children...

We chose this hotel because of the pool for the children. However, the water was cold, children were only allowed to swim during certain hours of the day, they couldn't join us in the sauna, they couldn't use the hot tub, and they were restricted to specific lanes in the pool. Additionally, the lifeguards were primarily focused on telling the children what they couldn't do. All in all, it wasn't very child-friendly, so if you're selecting this hotel for the kids because of the pool, I would recommend considering another option.

Very very close to the Tower Hill tube station as in a 1 min walk from the front of the hotel. Only a 4 min walk to Tower of London and tower bridge. You get fantastic views if your that side of the hotel of the Tower of London and Tower bridge. The breakfast was perfect, a full English buffet, croissants/ pan au chocolat, mini muffins, great selection of cereals, porridge, fresh fruit and salmons/cheese. The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially the duty manager Robert and the concierge Constantin. This is our second stay at this hotel and we are already looking at dates to book our third. Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location. Easy to get to and close to attractions and transport links. Hotel was nicely decorated and our room really comfortable. We had a bottle of wine in the room which was a lovely touch. The ability to cast to the tv as great! Liked the variety at breakfast - lots to choose from.

Had to ask for vegetarian breakfast sausages which took 25 minutes to arrive and were dry and cold. Vegetarianism isn’t new and in a busy large hotel like this I don’t see why you can’t have these out as standard alongside other hot breakfast items. There was a good selection for breakfast but if you are vegetarian and you want a hot breakfast your only options are tomato’s and mushrooms unless you specifically request the sausages. Hence a 9/10 overall

grate location. the underground is few steps away from the hotel ( Underground Rail, public train system ) not far from barking am palace. a lot of tourist goes to tower of london also a few meters away from the hotel. food everywhere around you taxi's are everywhere all time verry nice

The hole of london's food does not have salt or its fake salt have no taste. Food in london are blund .No spice and the hot sous is not hot i can drink it like cola, but i love the place wen i go back i am staying at the same place obviously.
