Buckle Street Studios by Locke

Staff was excellent!!! Interacted with 3 of them and they were all so helpful, attentive and friendly. Place was super cute and cozy and clean. Good restaurants and pubs very close too.

The apartment was incredibly small and tight. Banged my elbow on the wall probably 5 times. Wife did too. When i say small and tight, i mean it. Luggage didn't have anywhere to go, just blocking either front door or bathroom, your choice. Had to move it and/or trip over it a lot. All in all a cute place tho. Just be warned that it is very tight moving around.

I really loved the view, the style, and the facilities. I will surely come back here for my future work trips as it's very easy to do laundry or to work from their dedicated work space. The location is also perfect as it's super well connected but also not too noisy as the very city centre can be.

I was expecting the room to be bigger, to be honest. I'm not sure I'd book the small studio again. Even for 1 traveller can be a bit tight, as there's no dining area for example (there are 2 small sofa tables, but it's quite uncomfortable). The toilet is also split (the toilet bowl is in its own mini room), which has its pros and cons.

Despite the very small space, the room was extremely comfortable. The bed and linen were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious despite the rest of the studio being tiny. The internet was reliable and fast and the TV had a chromcast which was a nice touch. The kitchenette had a stovetop, frypan, pot, and a toaster which meant that breakfast could be cooked, and there were laundry facilities on-site free to use. The staff were also amazing and helpful.

The rooms had no windows that opened so the room gets very stuffy and bad smells from cooking and trash cannot be aired. I would have liked to be able to air out the room each morning. The heating cannot be changed, so the room was too cold for my liking and there was no way to turn up the heat.

I like the aesthetic and relaxed vibe the hotel has, it's also very quiet in terms of outdoor and neighbouring noise from other apartments. Very comfortable beds and decent air conditioning. This is also a good location as the tube stop is outside and a leisurely walk to bars and restaurants.

We had a micro corner studio and the bed was jammed in, there was absolutely no room to walk past it to the seating area so you had to climb across the bed. There was a bit of the wall that jutted out so you ended up banging yourself if you tried to walk past. Not good for going to the bathroom at night! The bedroom space needs to be reconfigured in my opinion. Also the shower clip was broken so the shower didn't stay up. The shower head and door seal needs a good clean because it's building up. The rooms don't get cleaned or replenished which is fine but need to leave plenty of teabags etc for the stay duration as we had to ask twice for more.

We stayed in the largest room, so it had enough space for me and my mother and our big luggage. The bed was soft; the fridge was big enough to store our food, and the Wi-Fi was good. Also, the staff is friendly. The studio has a pleasant reception room, and it's close to the train station, with various supermarkets and restaurants. We found a great hotpot restaurant next to the studio and a bakery with delicious cakes.

The light in our room was dim and quite dark, which we couldn't get used to in our first days. The kitchen in our room had a few problems. We couldn't turn the stove on, but fortunately, the staff helped us with that. The shower room was together with the toilet, and when we showered, the water flooded out, making the floor of the shower and toilet wet. Therefore, we had to be careful when we showered.

The hotel was amazing. Really modern and cleverly laid out. Staff were so friendly, couldn’t do enough to help you. The bed was so comfy, the pillows and duvet felt practically brand new which was really nice. We were very impressed considering it was one of the cheapest available for the night. We will hopefully be coming back in a couple of weeks for more Christmas shopping and would definitely choose to stay here again.

The only little downside was the fact that the walls seem quite thin, and we could hear next doors TV very clearly. This didn’t really bother us though and definitely wouldn’t put us off staying again, just something to be aware of!

The room was gorgeous. Clean, aesthetic - exactly what it said on the tin. The facilities were wonderful. It’s nice to pay a bit more and actually get what you’re paying for! The staff were lovely and polite. The bed was extremely comfortable.

From the moment we walked it, it was such a warm welcome. It actually felt like the staff were excited to see us haha! The staff were so lovely, even the builders were nice. This place is so new I assume some floors are still being built but there was no noise disturbance what so ever. The staff are lovely and even entertained our drunken conversations when we came back from an all day drinking day!

It would have been nice to have more hooks in the rooms for coats etc but that is such a minor!

Loved everything about this room. Layout, bed, decor and extras. I stayed in a corner micro studio which seemed to be an upgraded version of the regular micro studios. The layout here is much nicer. Couch that extends from the side of the bed, a place to eat, nice sized kitchen. The beds had a mattress topper that they don't have in the other studios. Made a massive difference to the comfort of the room. Lighting and temp were perfect and bathroom was lovely too. Staff were friendly and attentive and lived the communal facilities.

Perfect location! Homy and stylish hotel, small room with everything we needed and a nice view from the 8th floor. Fast Internet and co working space :) air condition worked perfectly.

Room isolation is not good, we heard the neighbours talking clearly, luckily they were not often there when we were :) Lighting in the bathroom was very low. Also in the coworking area, the lighting was not very suitable for working, a little more brightness would have been amazing but we only needed it a few hours, so nothing that bothered us too much. The bed was quite used and could use a new topper. But all in all it was a very nice stay.
