Marlin Aldgate Tower Bridge

The location was good,the view stunning and the apartment spacious.

They said they service the apartment once a week. We were there for a week, and not once did they clean the apartment, change linen or provide clean towels.

We stayed for a long weekend in London. The room had spectacular views over London and was only a stone's throw from Shoreditch and Spitalfields. Aldgate East Tube Station 5 mins away. was Perfect. The apartment was clean. Good Bathrooms and beds were divine after walking around London. Great to have a mini kitchen too for a good breakfast! no noise on what was a very busy weekend too.

The water pressure for the shower was slightly under expectations. other than that couldn't fault it.

Great location. underground stations close by. good range of restaurants etc and supermarkets nearby. Walking distance from Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The property was clean, warm, quiet and the apartment offered good views. The staff on reception were pleasant and always able to solve any issues.

The equipment in the kitchen was sparse. If you are wanting to self-cater - it is difficult due to lack of equipment. for example, only a bread knife for cutting, no serving bowls. There was also no tee towel or dish washing liquid and only 2 dish washer tablets provided - for a 10 night stay. I asked at reception for a tee-towel, they said it was company policy not to provide them. we ended buying both of these items. For a family of 5, space was very tight- but doable.

Great location - only a 10 minute walk to Tower Bridge, and very close to the tube. Apartment was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony all the way around the apartment which offered spectacular views.

Just a couple of minor things - kitchen utensils could do with an update (no wooden spoon, small knife, peeler etc) and the pillows were quite hard and too high for my kids - they had to sleep on the small cushions instead.

The location was perfect, 5min walk to Aldgate East station and slightly more to Aldgate station. The apartment was easy to access and staffs were friendly and helpful. The toilets were generally clean and the 2-bedroom apartment was spacious enough for my parents and my spouse.

There were stains on the bedsheet and on the wall of the master bedroom which was quite an eyesore (they looked like blood but it was probably red paint). When we arrived, some of the towels were damp and it wasn't very pleasant but fortunately, they provided 2 sets and we could just utilise others. The bedframe had wheels and half of the time, it was moving around by just us sitting on the bed itself. The bed was rather soft and not as comfortable as we would like it to be. However, it is still definitely value for money for a great location.

Locatation was grate close to aldgate east tube. The Apartments was very quiet and have planty of room,have grate view from the balcony. The Apartments was very clean and got all the things we need.

The sofa at was not comfortable and very old. The bads all the time move at the bedrooms becouse of the weels they got

Good location. Not far from Aldgate East tube station, although building work took us on a detour from the tube to the accommodation (not the fault of Marlin). Very nice suite with separate bedroom, lounge with sofa bed and kitchen. Kitchen needed something like kitchen towel to dry stuff (we understand health and safety regarding tea towels etc) because we had to use a bath towel! Great kitchen facilities otherwise! Everything was clean and we felt very comfortable in the suite.

If I'm going to be picky - the pillows weren't comfortable. It was difficult to move the pillows under your head - too stiff or something. I don't know. Certainly not a quality pillow. And there's a pervading deep humming noise - perhaps the central heating - that is loud enough throughout the night to wake you up. There's no a/c unit to change temperatures. I can only think that it's the central heating that is noisy.

Stayed for 6 nights whilst on holiday in London. Location was central and close to most tourist attractions, hence it was easy to get around on foot. The stay at the Marlin Aldgate was a pleasant stay. The reception staff were welcoming and got us quickly settled into our apartment. Thanks to Mateo and Shedieka (hope I spelt that right 😊) who were very welcoming and efficient. We got allocated a 2 bedroom apartment which was amazing! The apartment was well stocked! Clean and the beds were comfortable. After travelling around in hotels for a while it was really nice to be able to have a washing machine, dish washer and a well-stocked kitchen. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Being an apartment, it is expected that it does not have a porter as a hotel would. It does provide a starter set of toiletries in the bathrooms. We could buy our supplies from the café next door. We will recommend Marlin Aldgate for a very pleasant stay

Good location. Reasonably priced. Apartments are excellent. Balcony.

Staff could not get me a second key. Lift sometimes takes long to warm up before starting again.

I love the 2 Bedrooms Apartment, it was larger than I expected and the view was great. I love the location, very close to the bus stop and easy to move around. Lots of grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. For the size of the apartment and the location, I will stay here again whenever I am in London.

The bed has a wheel so it moves easily, there was no provision for kitchen paper towel. I needed the trash can to be emptied but I was told to bring it down by myself so that I will be shown where to trash it. Also, when I requested for bath gel I was told that it is a service apartment and that I was supposed to provide everything for myself when the ones placed in the room got finished. I did not like the fact that after paying for a total of my 4-day stay, I was still not allowed into my room because a credit was required for the payment of a refundable deposit of 200 pounds, even when I offered to use the same payment method, it was refused.
