Hilton London Tower Bridge

The Executive Lounge staff was so very helpful in providing me (with food restrictions of no gluten/soy/dairy milk products) with 'safe' foods for my breakfast and evening meals. I had a similar positive experience with said food restrictions for dinner and breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn on Eastern Perimeter Road near London Heathrow on May 14-15th. So, kudos and my thanks to Hilton! These two positive experiences will certainly influence my hotel choice when we travel in the future.

A room upgrade on arrival, with a small bottle of wine, coffee machine, free mini bar (very limited, of course, but still nice to have). As well as the general cleanliness of the room, next is the bed, which is super important for me and we weren't let down as it was very comfortable with crisp clean linen, and together with aircon (that actually worked...) meant we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice, and the location was good, with only a short walk to the tube station and Tower Bridge.

There was a limited menu when dinning and although the food was okay, it could have been better. Room service was quick and friendly. The menu was scattered with spelling mistakes, although that's likely the snob in me (I can't claim to be the very good at English grammar, or spelling), there were some errors that cheapened the experience; although, again, my apologies for the apparent disdain.

Everything.. Location is great. All the staffs who were working during my stay in the reception was so friendly and helpful. They are so pleasant and their welcoming nature made me to visit again and again. I will definitely recommend my friends and family too. Housekeeping staffs are very helpful too. On top breakfast was delicious and their staffs are welcoming, polite and helpful too. If you visit, please do not forget to order onion, chilly and mushroom omelet. It was so delicious means smooth and juicy. I loved it..

check in was great. the room for myself and my sister was clean and bright. staff very helpful at check in and throughout.

The server in the gin/breakfast bar was rude as and the breakfast was hands down one of the worst I’ve had in a long time, and the worst from a Hilton hotel full stop. My half cold poached eggs and smoked salmon - no butter on the muffin, over cooked eggs and it was swimming in hollandaise. I couldn’t finish it. My sister’s continental breakfast had gone off slimy melon in a bowl and unbuttered bread with hard butter on the side. The saving grace was the excellent coffee. Save your disappointment and go elsewhere, the only reason we ate there was because it was raining but in hindsight a short 10 minute walk in the rain to a decent breakfast place would have been worth it

very modern and well appointed, very good and popular bar, restaurant, 1751, was very good and food was excellent quality and good prices, staff were attentive and friendly, the room was very clean and spacious, a safe, ironing board and iron were nice touches also.

the bed… very uncomfortable and creeky, it felt like sleeping on the floor and both my wife and I struggled with it being way too firm, when you moved the base also creeped and groaned, this was the only negative so come on Hilton get some new, not so firm beds please!

Price was really competitive for London hotels - we upgraded to executive with lounge access which was so worth it. We ate and drank for several hours in the lounge which was fab. Location is right in front of the underground station and the room was beautiful. There are dozens of coffee shops within 2 mins walk so we got a room only stay and popped out for breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at the hotel many times, location is great - near to the sights of the southbank but just out of all the hustle. The atmosphere within this hotel is so laid back and perfect for relaxing after a long day in the city. Most of all, the staff are absolutely fantastic; professional, personal, kind and all are so welcoming. We stayed at a similar hotel a few weeks ago as this was full - the difference is remarkable for the same price point.

The staff were exceptional, breakfast offered a varied amount of choice and was well cooked and tasty. Location of the hotel was fabulous - close proximity to London Bridge, tube and train stations and restaurants and bars (plus Borough Market which was a real treat)

Did not care for the bed and pillows..... bed a little too hard and pillows too soft. We were in an accessible room so the shower was not ideal (with a curtain) and the overflow of water.

Room was comfortable Breakfast was excellent. Good selection of fresh, good quality food Location is excellent We had a couple of problems with our bathroom but the response was very good from the hotel

Initially, we were told we had a room with a view, but it turned out to be one of a wall. This was rectified however. Had to call for assistance as Bathroom sink was clogged. This was fixed, but then the plug couldn’t be operated. The hotel made reparations however.

Location is great very close to Tower bridge and Borough Market, staff there can’t help you enough especially the lovely receptionist Christina who is a credit to the hotel so friendly and helpful .. we will be back in December. The beds are super comfortable and the pillows I wanted to pinch (but didn’t of course 😄) An amazing breakfast too x
