Location. The building is beautiful, though singularly unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility, and situated within a 2-minute walk of Liverpool Street station. Walk for five minutes more to see Leadenhall Market, Lloyds of London, (for now), Spitalfields Market,(another 5), the Gherkin, Heron Tower, Tower Bridge, and the Tower itself all in easy walking distance. West of the property, the Bank of England, St Paul's, the Old Bailey, Bart's Hospital, the Museum of London, and on and on. Use your phone, and don't pay to go half a mile. it only takes fifteen minutes on foot.

Our shower enclosure was missing its door. Not a big deal, and the floor of the bathroom seemed well sealed, so a little mopping up was no great imposition, and was ably supported by an endless flow of fluffy white towels throughout our visit.

It’s a great location for the City of London & Shoreditch. Opposite Liverpool street station and a late opening Tescos for food etc - The room was a good size and loved the coffee/snack area which had fizzy drinks, water, crisps and biscuits all free, felt like we were staying in a little apartment. Super housekeeping, very clean and friendly, excellent.

The noise and had no contact at all with anyone in reception or while we were there. We had the room above the pub, it may be a lot quieter on the second floor. Told no breakfast but saw breakfast food on the bar so not sure if that’s the case. It’s such a great location but the bin lorry collection 1am, Beer keg delivery in the early am, & general noise is a lot. I knew I had booked above a bar but it was all the other noise, not the bar, that was a problem. There is secondary glazing but it needs more.

Location, price and clean. Directly across from the Liverpool Station offered a direct access on the Elizabeth Line to Heathrow and the Circle Line for sightseeing. It’s a short jaunt to the Tower of London, St Paul’s and the Tate. Bishop gate is a great neighborhood with dining choices in all price ranges. The hotel next door is at least 100 pounds more per night. Our room was small, clean and nicely appointed. It was the first available for a last minute requested early afternoon checkin.

Be prepared to climb steep stairs but staff did help us. Some minor maintenance needed to be done on the hand held shower in the bathroom. Honestly, we were not bothered by the street noise with and without earplugs. Just mentioning these items in case it would bother someone else.

Excellent room and friendly helpful staff, and yes stairs were a bit of a problem getting all the way up to the suites, but even so I was given help carrying my luggage up and down stairs. Enjoyed my stay.

The room was a good size, the bed was really comfortable. The shower was great, I also liked the bathroom extras ie shower gel, shampoo and conditioner great idea. Room cleaned and replenished with towels which you don't always get in the big hotel chains. I also liked the choice of little snacks and drinks in the room. It was also great to see a bottle of water in the room this again is something you don't get in the big hotel chains. All in all the stay with the Bull and Hide was an enjoyable one.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Gorgeous, spacious rooms with lots of mirrors and natural light. We booked 3 rooms for a group of 6 and the staff were incredibly accommodating and put al of our rooms together on a separate floor from the rest, which we very much appreciated. The pantry was a fantastic touch and was the Cherry on top for us! The staff were all friendly and check us in early, there are spaces to leave your bags if you need to though. The hotel is in a fantastic location as well!

Nothing we didn’t like, I would be very keen to come back :)

Well located. Nice room, spacious bathroom. good bedding and towels.

The steep three storeys of stairs could be challenging for some customers. The argument between a cleaner and a manager about poor cleaning standards in the rooms was not (whilst the manager was right) what I wanted to hear over breakfast.

Great location near Liverpool street station. Very clean, comfortable room with lovely touches like complimentary snacks and drinks. The staff were fantastic and quickly resolved a problem we had with the shower. The breakfast was really good.

The rooms are on a busy street above a pub, which we didn't know before arrival. It can be noisy but the hotel have put effective sound proofing in from the pub. There is no reception and you have to check in at the pub and any issues you have to ring someone off site. Our shower was faulty and had to be fixed while we were staying. It really needs replacing.

The room was a wonderful suite. The bathroom was perfect and having the coffee, tea facilities and the complimentary snacks was a treat. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The stairs were disconcerting but the guys carried my bags up to my room which was appreciated. I was also able to leave my bags at the hotel till I left for the airport. The location was perfect - close to Liverpool Street Station which linked me to so much in London. Wandering around the local area led me to some amazing landmarks.

It was all pretty good actually.

Great place to pop your head down for the night, welcoming friendly staff, including the cleaning crew. Was able to leave my bag before check in and afterwards. Location is perfect for London Liverpool St. The pub has a pantry for guests to enjoy snacks like crisps, biscuits and soft drinks. Room was very comfortable and well furnished. Can get quite noisy as it is really popular with the after work crowd.

No longer serves meals, except breakfast, but I was welcome to order a takeaway to have at the pub.
