The room was superb and accommodated 3 adults with room to spare. The location is great - just a short stroll to Harrods. The breakfast food was superb.

There were a few little things which disappointed us, but they didn't spoil our overall enjoyment. One evening, we arrived back at the hotel quite late and as the bar closed at 11pm, we asked for a couple of slices of lemon so that we could make a hot water & lemon drink in our room. The barman said he would bring it up to the room and he never came. Another issue was that even though there were 3 adults in our room, the housekeeping people only left us 2 towels and every day we had to ask for another one. Not major problems, but for the price we paid, we expected slightly better attention to detail. Having said that, we appreciate that the hotel was probably understaffed due to COVID.

The decor of the hotel is very elegant. We were made to feel welcome on arrival. The rooms are a good size with very roomy, comfortable beds. Our room was facing the garden and was very quiet. The underfloor heating was nice in the bathroom. I liked the fact there was a large bottle of complimentary water and more bottles given in the evening turndown service. A cake was delivered to my room as we were celebrating my birthday. This was a nice personal touch. Quality ingredients had been used in the breakfast, it was delicious and we didn't feel rushed.

The wardrobes weren't full length. I had a long dress and coat. You couldn't close the door. The toiletries looked in keeping with the bathroom but were difficult to open. Maybe time for a new shower head? Ours sprayed every which way but straight down! Breakfast wasn't properly explained, so the full english came first and then we ordered from the continental menu. There was also a service charge on the Breakfast.

very nice small hotel in a quiet Chelsea street. The staff are very good. Plenty of bottled water is supplied in the room which is vital when you return from a busy day/evening, simple but important.

Very nice room, but a few logistical issues….. No Mirror available by a plug to dry and style hair, which is a fundamental requirement. Although a good GHD hairdryer was supplied, but I’m not sure where they think you can use it? Also we had to pick up the coffee machine and move it to the ledge in front of a very large lamp to plug it in? if you don’t have room for a coffee machine just supply Taylor’s coffee bags, as they are just as good.

Hotel was in a great location with helpful and friendly staff. Comfy room and good amenities.

Dog friendly rooms but you can’t have your dog anywhere else in the hotel (you can only walk through the main entrance to your room, not even sit in the lobby or bar). I understand they don’t want dogs in restaurants, but not allowing dogs in a bar/lobby means you have to go elsewhere for a drink and meant we went elsewhere for breakfast too (so the hotel loses out too).

All the little touches! From arriving to leaving this hotel they think of all the little things! Attention to detail is second to non!

It would be nice if there was an outdoor area but recognise this is probably out of the hotels remit......this certainly would not stop me re-booking again!

This stay was truly exceptional in every way. The service received from all members of staff has to be properly recognised. They were professional, efficient and attentive without being obtrusive. The location is superb. Set within a very picturesque, largely residential area, it gave us the peace so often sacrificed for optimal location. The Franklin hotel gave us both. Beautiful bed linen, thick fluffy towels, exquisite afternoon tea…..it has become our hotel of choice when in London. we have already booked a further stay in May!

if we were to be really picky, the hotel room we were allocated looked a bit ‘tired’ and could perhaps do with some redecoration.

it’s a fabulous small hotel in great location . Walking distance to Chelsea & Knightsbridge . The staff are lovely , very welcoming and helpful . The room had a lovely view over the gardens ( request on booking )

The gardens are no longer accessible to hotel guests . They used to be before the pandemic . The gym could do with a wider selection of weights - the 4/5/6 kg

Lovely, quiet location. Spotless and luxurious. Excellent service from superb, friendly staff. Food was faultless.

Could hear the room next door, gap at the bottom of the adjoining door, but with the bedroom door shut, wasn't a problem. Could have done with a guide for the room comfort panel, we couldn't get the air conditioning to stop blowing.

location was fantastic, private, quiet and absolutely luxury. I never sleep well in hotels but this bed was amazing and so comfy. service was brilliant and this morning they were decorticating for Christmas. staff super friendly loved it .

I was promised a complimentary upgrade before arrival and was going to extend my stay due to personal reasons but I didn’t in the end it was was fine and my room was amazing albeit the plaster that came away from the ceiling (dust) it didn’t really affect me as I was leaving the next morning anyway. there was a bit of in consistency in the communication from before I arrived arriving and then as I left but it was fine I was so pre occupied and resting i didn’t have time or energy to chase this up - that was a let down overall
