Hotel Cafe Royal

Everything was excellent especially the ladies at the reception. The check in process was smooth, they even have a champagne welcome drink. The room size is perfect as well as the bathroom. The best part of course is the location if you want to be near all the shopping areas.

One thing we didn't like is this one door man who was rude to our chauffeur. That kinda turned me off and because of that, I'm now rethinking if we should stay there again next time. Considering we always choose to stay in Cafe Royal. Whether guests, staff, or chauffeurs, the door man should treat everyone nicely.

the location is maybe the best in the whole city especially during the Christmas season. room 222 has a 180 degrees view of the Piccadilly including three balconies 🙌🏼🙌🏼 the staff excellent attitude

the facilities need to keep up with the prices. no usb ports. lights were going on and off on their own and the shower cord was completely destroyed. a sense of decay in the furniture and the food at the brasserie was not up to the standards of a five star hotel.

The hospitality of the staff during the breakfast. Artful and his colleagues were so friendly and humorous! It made us a pleasant start of the day! The evening room service to check up water supply and tidy again our bedding make us feel warm. Especially my younger daughter brought a puppy with her. The staff placed the puppy in different gesture and beds look so cute and warmly when we got back every night. Due to our early flight ✈️, we couldn't make it to the breakfast. Unexpectedly the breakfast boxes and coffee/milk were delivered so early to our room, even before 👨‍🍳 chefs arrived. How did you make it happen? We will definitely stay here whenever coming back to London!

The hotel and facilities were excellent.

1 of the concierges was a little abrupt. I asked if I could plug my lap top in anywhere in the lobby area as I needed to check some emails. In the end I did however he made it quite clear that he wasn't happy about me doing so. I couldn't really understand this, after we agreed I could plug my laptop in. I asked is this ok and he replied not really no. Everything else was excellent I just didn't appreciate this little point. I must say the other concierges were excellent in every way and very helpful.

Great location, super friendly staff, luxury and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Fresh flowers in the room was a nice surprise in addition to the chocolate Easter egg which looked like a piece of art. The restaurant was elegant with excellent service and tasty food. The bar has a cozy atmosphere with nicely made drinks. We had an afternoon tea which was very special given the intricate decor of this historic place and famous people who visited is though the years.

All the saff were very friendly and helpful, especially Torres on the door. Rooms were very quiet. Food was excellent.

Pillows were uncomfortable for myself and my 7yo. Lights were hard to work in the room often being only very bright or off TV was faulty but was replaced with a TV box which bypassed the TV. This meant we were unable to watch a movie however Pool was cold and I received mixed information on the temp of the pool from staff, one saying it was set at 24 degree's another saying it was 29 degree's. I'd say it was somewhere inbetween being a pool owner myself.

Additional service charge per day which we were not aware of via booking.com or hotel when booking. Also we booked and confirmed for 2 adults and 1 child and the hotel had 2 adults confirmed so we were charged extra for breakfast and for a sofa bed, this was challenged and cancelled, but something went wrong between booking.com and the hotel here

The central location and being so near the Tube Station! Junior Suite facing the Regent street was wonderful and the bathroom was really spacious and luxurious Bubbles and Cakes' desserts are simply divine and a must try!

Breakfast lacked variety. We stayed for 1 week and it was the same limited options everyday. Pastries was the same few pieces too. Bathroom toilet should upgrade with a bidet The water pressure was disappointingly low for a really spacious luxurious shower

The gym is very good and also the trainer is a very experienced trainer. The food is great and breakfast is very good. Location is right between Mayfair and Soho. Covent Garden is also very close.

Light in the room is hard to use. Also it was rather cold in the room. Also we had a room at the front of the hotel on the piccadilly circus view. We liked this more than this room on the 6th floor. The 6th floor doesnt have spa access and we use the spa /gym often when we stay in thios hotel

Everyone was super nice. Everything tasted great, from the drinks to the restaurants to room service. Place was very clean and in a great location.

Completely forgot our dinner order for room service. To their credit, they did not charge us, but it was still an inconvenience and we wound up eating dinner at 11pm. Took way too long to get the check and cash out during our first breakfast.
