Good location, easy to get a taxi/uber and only down the road from metro station which makes it easy to get into central Manchester. Staff were friendly and welcoming when we checked in and also when we got back to the hotel later on in the night. Whole hotel was extremely clean including the room. Great hotel if you are going to be out and about for most of the day and just need a decent place to stay for the night.

I booked this room back in January for a stay in June for 3 people which was only £54. But I found out that the price had gone up to over £200 closer to the time - if I had paid that much money I would not have been happy as the rooms are very basic (clue is in the name, its a budget hotel), and obviously had a lack of facilities e.g - no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The room was compact but comfortable and had everything we needed for a couple of days' stay. The bed was comfortable enough and we were able to get additional pillows for added comfort. Good size TV and there was an ironing room easily accessible. The cafe area felt welcoming and the location is just a few minutes walk to a tram stop which takes you into the city centre easily and efficiently. It is equally well placed for an easy enough drive to Trafford shopping centre. There was plenty of parking space at the hotel for a decent price. We requested a quiet room and were given one facing the car park and it was nice and quiet.

There are no plug sockets near the bed which is a little annoying if you want to have your phone charging within reach overnight. The toilet and shower are sort of within the room and lacked privacy - this didn't bother us as a married couple but may be a negative point for others sharing the room.

I have stayed in a number of Ibis budget hotels and this was one of the nicest and cleanest.

Prior to arrival, I was informed that parking was privately owned and would need to pay. Very difficult to find the car park on the first night (dark) as only a postcode was given which went to a locked gate. Found free parking on a nearby side street however was informed by reception that this was a bad idea however my car was parked there for two nights with no issues. Essentially sign posting outside the private car park would make it easier to find but free and equally as safe alternative was found anyway.

The hotel's location is close to the iconic Old Trafford Stadium. Being able to walk to the stadium was an absolute treat, saving us from any transportation hassles. One of the major highlights of this hotel was its outstanding value for money. Considering its prime location and the quality of service provided, it was a budget-friendly choice that did not compromise on comfort. Parking availability was another big plus. The staff at Ibis Budget Manchester Salford Quays was truly excellent. They were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests we had. Lastly, the proximity to Salford Quays was an unexpected bonus. The scenic waterfront area offered a great atmosphere for an evening stroll, with good cafes and restaurants to explore.

Breakfast could be improved.

Staff were friendly and helpful, easy to find your room, location was good, the rooms were nice and clean, the guests were friendly as well, the tram line is a 5 min walk away from the hotel, you couldn't even hear any other guests coming or going

Location is great if you want to see around the Quays but for city centre not so good, had problems checking in, as ibis doesn't allow cash in any aspects of the hotel apart from the pool table, getting to the city centre by taxi is pretty expensive from the hotel, but that I blame myself for not asking the staff for info about the trams,

We stayed at this hotel as it is within walking distance from the Manchester United Old Trafford Stadium. The staff is cordial and helped us out with a lot of questions. It is also walking distance from the Exchange Quay Tram Station. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Offers meals and breakfast at a reasonable price. Free coffee was also offered on both the days we stayed. Few restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance.

It is not very close to the City Centre Area but a Tram ride will reach the hotel within a few minutes. Rooms are very small and bathroom is extremely small. The bath area and the toilet area is separate. So if you are travelling with heavy luggage, there would not be much space available in the room.

Great little budget hotel. No frills. Needed cheap accommodation for a night out in Salford Quays and it did exactly what it said on the tin. Beds were comfy, small lounge/dining area downstairs great for quick breakfast or hot drink. Reception staff were welcoming. Car park was bigger than I expected and had plenty of space available when we arrived at 5.30pm on a Friday.

It's probably not suited to people not comfortable with each other as the shower and sink are in the bedroom area, with only a small toilet behind a door. The rooms are small (you get what you pay for!) so you are in very close quarters with whoever you're sharing with. This wasn't an issue for us as friends, but just something to bear in mind!

As regulars here couple tesca year to visit family living Salford. There was a football match close by so we didn't get our usual meal at the pub opposite first night as it was very busy, but ate there on 2nd nights stay. Matchstick Men pub do lovely meals from 12 noon. Tram stop is literally opposite the hotel so easy to travel about. A day ticket only £3.50 for the 2 zones we needed.

Disappointed that boiled eggs and sausages no longer available on continental breakfast options so it's now more limited. Being diabetic I need to be careful of carbs. However we will still return as the hotel suits our needs and budget. Staff always pleasant.

I liked the design of the hotel and my room I was in. Lovely and colourful interior lights downstairs where guests can have breakfast and lunch. I liked the pool table downstairs in the reception area. I thought that was very productive and very accessible for guests at the hotel during their stays. I liked how there were different ways of entering the hotel with 2 automatic sliding doors when checking in. I liked the shower door where you just only have too open and close it pull and close with a hole in it without any handles to use. I thought that was very easy for me to do and I had very good access for me to go in the shower then. I liked how the toilet room/cubicle and the shower room/cubicle were separate from each other. I also liked the light switches too which were above my bed in my hotel room rather than me get up and turn the main one off instead. I really enjoyed my stay here. I couldn’t fault it and recommend it enough.

The welcome was great. Nice receptionist who greeted me with a nice smile. He introduced to me about everything.. not the fire exit and assembly point . But no one does. I always ask when checking in. The room was small but cozy and the interiors were quite nice.. super small TV though. Overall nice experience

The bedsheet had big spot.. I always carry a bedsheet extra since I am a bit paranoid about cleanliness, but there were big yellow spot. I do not expect a new one but I don't wanna see spots. The food of the shower is a little glass door that does not close with a lock.. is just a divider.. but was actually not closing properly and the door was slightly open while having a shower. Not big of a issue..
