King Street Townhouse

We have had an absolutely exceptional stay at King Street Townhouse. After booking the room, I’ve spoken to the to hotel, to let them know it was my partners special birthday, asking if we could maybe do some decorations in the room for him. The hotel accommodated all my endless requests without any problem and gone above and beyond to make it extra special for us! The cozy room was absolutely stunning, with a nice bath and the biggest rainfall shower I've ever seen! We didn’t need any more - they had thought of every single detail. Champagne in the mini bar, luxurious bedding, nespresso coffee machine, enough storage space for bags, ESPA products in the room - there was nothing that hadn’t been thought of. Hotel left a little birthday treat for my partner which was a nice touch, apart from decorations I have already arranged with reception!The room was filled with balloons! It looked fantastic! As a part of our add on package, we also had two pizzas for our room and a bottle of wine. The food was simply delicious and there wasn’t a problem with swapping the wine for a couple of cocktails instead. We didn’t have any treatments in a spa, however we had a 2 hours access to enjoy the facilities as a part of the package. It was beautiful and very relaxing! Roof top pool in the hotel was an extra treat! Especially we have managed to get a stunning sunset! Staff at The King Street Townhouse were very welcoming and professional. Will definitely return in the future.

My husband and I recently had a two night break here and it was amazing from start to finish. From the kind and helpful staff to the luxury bedding, super comfortable bed, gorgeous toiletries and fantastic infinity pool. I enjoyed the purity and inner calm package in the spa and it was exceptional in every way. All the little touches were duly noted. My espa facial was so relaxing . Breakfast was served in the tavern, I had juice, yoghurt, pastries and the most delish Breakfast. Again nothing was to much trouble and all added to the peaceful tranquility of a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Lovely comfortable room, great kingsize bed, fabulous large bathroom with great rainwater walk in shower. Excellent rooftop terrace to sit out and enjoy your drink, lack of service on this bar during our stay though. The open air small pool, jacuzzi was amazing. 😊 Definite selling point. Friendly and helpful team.

Sky box was attached to the rear of the tv, so the remote control would not work unless you stood to one side of the TV. Kinda defeats the point of using a remote. Would suggest you move the sky box. Could have done with more USB charging points adjacent to the bed. Breakfast was included, but unfortunately on both days I had problems with overcooked and dry items, and had to return. 2nd time around was OK. But you'd expect better from a hotel charging such a high room rate really. Food should be checked more on the pass before being sent to guests surely?

the hotel is very clean and has an amazing calming atmosphere! the rooms are very cosy and it almost makes you feel at home but better! the pool and spa upstairs is exceptional you can order drinks straight up, the pool is heated at just the right temperature and if you go at the right time you could have it all to yourself. the staff are amazing too very friendly, we where celebrating a birthday and they made the day so special!

the only thing was the lift would sometimes take a while to come up and down and we would be waiting outside the lift for a couple of minutes however there where stairs right next to our room so if we was in a rush it was no problem!

Very unique and comfortable hotel. Close to all shopping and grocery areas. All the staff are very friendly and they greet you every time they sees you. The only lady security officer Delia welcomes us with a big smile once we enter the hotel and she provides marvellous service always giving us tips on what’s nearby and helping us out on our luggage. I don’t see that often even when I stay in more luxury hotels. The infinity pool is a must to go when you stay here, too bad there’s construction while we’re staying so our view wasn’t really that good. Overall me and my partner really loved the hotel very much and we would like to thank all the staff especially delia!

Exceptional and helpful staff and great location. Beautiful bar/ cafe area. Beautiful clean rooms and the pool is what you would expect although only small. However the scaffolding is still up on the cathedral until 2024 although right now it is coated in white. Please note the Gym, Sauna, neutral cafe, ice shower you see on the photos are now not included and they are outside on an external building that is attached but you have to go outside to get in. It is an extra £20 per person. All that is included is the pool, shower area, a steam room and some chairs looking at the view with your room.

Bed was extremely comfortable, the room was a good size and very clean. Location was perfect.

I arrived at the hotel at 1.30pm and told my room wouldn't be ready till the check in time of 3pm which I was fine with. I left my bags with reception and left to go out for some lunch. I then returned back to the hotel around 4.30pm to be told that my room was still not ready and I was asked to wait for another 30 minutes in the hotel bar. I was in Manchester for 1 night as I had a work function that started at 6pm and I still needed to get ready so this was not an ideal situation and left me feeling quite stressed with the staff giving little explanation. In the end the matter was resolved and i was in the room by 5pm but it was still quite inconvenient and left me in a rush.

The staff are lovely we have stayed a number of times. Lovely breakfast and Tim who looked after us, was absolutely superb!! Thankyou also for the little sweet birthday plate on arrival in our room I think the lady was called Eva xx

The bed itself mattress pillows v comfy but the bed surround not great. You had to take a run and jump to avoid banging or knocking legs not ideal and I have a bruise on knee. We have always had lovely bed on other occasions. Usually stayed in a comfy room this wasn’t available and I think bed surround perfect. Also our toilet seat was moving around which was a bit of a pain and we have always had 2 bottles of complimentary water in our room. We were a little surprised you now had to pay for these. I think being the standard of hotel it is you would expect water as a basic. We do not complain however it was a special birthday and wanted it to be perfect like it normall is. Just want to reiterate the staff all lovely.

Great pool and relaxation area which was fairly quiet both times we attended. Spacious room. Great location central to everything.

We were surprised that there was no complimentary water provided in the room and that breakfast wasn’t included in the price. When considering the cost of these rooms I would expect both to be included. Also check in was a little inefficient - we asked if our room was ready at 2.40pm, the lady at reception advised us it was not and asked us to wait in the bar area which we were fine with. We then went back at 3pm and she checked her spreadsheet and again told us it was not ready despite this being the official check in time - we asked if she had chased housekeeping for an update which she hadn’t which was strange considering she had us sat there waiting for 20 minutes and alas when she did check the room was actually ready and our baggage was already there!!

Loved the stay! Me and my mom came over the Kings Coronation weekend, it was such a beautiful room and the location was great, so easy to get too and the parking facilities was so near. It was a not even 2 minute walk to restaurants and bars from there. The spa was such a great experience being able to order cocktails while being in there was a great touch. No noise from other rooms, not too busy, do not have one bad word to say, I also witnessed a Wedding, they must have been staying there while we was, the bride looked beautiful!

I do not have anything bad to say other than nearly slipping over in the pool area which is a massive reach because obviously the floor is going to be wet lol.
