Great location for us and at the right price,we tried the food at night,4 different dishes all lovely no complaints at all.The staff were friendly and free parking as a bonus.Had a problem with a mattress but was changed as soon as we mentioned it,was asked if we required anything for our rooms when others were being cleaned, more milk etc no problem.Yes rooms need updating but bathroom was clean, bed comfy even though on casters so moved if wasn't carefull and we found it quiet after hours too,so glad we didn't take any notice of negative reviews.

took quite awhile to clear plates off our table but there was only 2 staff on check in and bar.

room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Evening meal maybe a little overpriced but tasted nice. location was central with sainsbury's across the road being a bonus for lunch food and petrol.

it is on a very busy road which was quite noisy during time spent at dinner and in the bar area. however once in rooms could not hear it. the only other thing to note would be when coming off the main road round to the hotel the directions/satnav does not tell you which lane to be in and we had to cross 3 lanes of traffic to do the right turn into the hotel!

the hotel offers free overnight parking which is a bonus if your expenses don’t stretch that far. it’s also very convenient for the city centre with ample car spaces. My twin room was clean, warm and prepared for guests and at the price I wasn’t expecting too much. Shower looks old but was better than most hotels I’ve stayed at.

on arrival I found the car park is a little too dark for my liking. The hotel reception is located next to the restaurant not the main hotel block, which is a pity because they would have had a better idea what was going on. I was eventually relocated to a top floor twin room, windows didn’t hold back any road noise and luckily at least one of the two beds suited my needs.

Next to Sainsbury, many shops around, good price to fill the car, KFC McDonald opposite the road, Free parking, at that price only 7 mins drive to the City centre. Bus Number 33 directly to the centre, only 2 mins walking. Yes, the room decoration is aged, but based on the money paid, it worth it. carpet and bathroom tile are old style but very clean. The staff and other customers are very very kind! Consider you pay at least £12 to £25 parking per stay otherwhere, it is a good choice for a short stay. Pillow is good, mattress is firm enough.

Very hot if you are facing the south side. Tips: keep the curtain close tightly and open the room door.

The room was a decent, size and standard, and with a city view (half the rooms have a car park view, so that was just luck) - the location was fine for me as I like to walk, but it is a good 15 minute walk to Cornbrook tram stop, the surroundings aren't the most sylvan but it is walking-distance into central Manchester, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Also, I arrived several hours before check-in time and was allowed to park early without extra charge.

Nothing could have been better for me - it is in a bit of a public transport black-hole but a 10-15 minute walk takes you to places from where you can get anywhere across the city. So if you have mobility issues, you might think twice.

the location worked very well for me and the accommodation was really good. However a small refrigerator and/or microwave oven in the room would have made it more convenient . you can also add more variety to your breakfast menu .I would recommend the Hotel to anyone visiting Manchester .

No small refrigerator in room or microwave.

Easy to find and great to have a guaranteed parking space. Room was fine - clean, roomy, modern, view over the river. It's a big hotel and we were on the 3rd floor. No lift for anyone with difficulties but we managed fine. Busy place, lots of youngsters. Opposite a retail park so easy shopping, fast food etc.

Nothing really. Good value, nothing fancy and could probably do with a coat of paint here and there but fine for our needs.

Not too sure why people have moaned about their stay? It's around £50, for that you get fresh sheets, hot and powerful shower, TV, tea and coffee, a bar downstairs, FREE PARKING, 11am checkout and a 20 minute walk into the centre. Yes it's a little dated but for a overnight, I think it's perfectly acceptable, one thing that I could grumble about was the mattress, it was a little springy. Just to add, I originally booked Sachas but I'm glad I didn't as the reviews weren't the best and I opted for a walk into the centre vs a hotel with no parking and bad reviews.

Springy mattress and a dirty window.

Great value for money - perfect to get enough sleep after a gig. Solo traveller - enjoyed the stay! Not too noisy despite the main street, although only stayed between late night and early morning hours.

Staff was awfully unhelpful - I arrived just before check-in and got told to come back when it's open, no 'you can leave your bags,' 'have a drink while you wait'. The bar felt a bit isolating.

We didn’t have breakfast as we met our son in the city centre and ate with him.

Didn’t like being woken up by someone banging and kicking a door trying to get in their room around 3.30 in the morning. But that wasn’t the hotels fault, not sure if they have security cameras on the corridors.
