We had a really lovely stay at Lansdown House. Nigel the host couldn't have been more accommodating, and the house itself was lovely. The room was spotless and massive, and breakfast was excellent. We opted not to have a full English due to going out for a big lunch but what we had was lovely and I'm sure the breakfast would have been exceptional! The B&B itself is situated really close to the beautiful Staffordshire/Shropshire/Cheshire countryside and within striking distance of the various pottery museums in Stoke. There is also a really nice pub nearby called the Red lion, attached to the Joules Brewery, also in the town, which serves both good food and good beer!

Market Drayton itself has lots of very old buildings which were nice, but perhaps felt a little down on its heels. A good base though for further exploring or the wider area.

The host was great, very friendly. We stayed in two different rooms, and they were both lovely. Breakfast was good, flexible times. So we're the times of arrival, which was very helpful. It's practically in the town centre,

One room had a very tiny shower, the other not that many places where to put stuff. Some of the TV accounts weren't set up and couldn't be used, but that is a very minor thing.

The warm welcome from Nigel gave us a very positive first impression of this wonderful B&B. We had a large double room and it was incredibly comfortable. I was particularly chuffed to be able to have a coffee latte upon wakening. The full English breakfast cooked by Nigel was deliciously filling. Located a stones throw from Market Dayton’s town centre we were able to walk to the pub and local Indian restaurant for our evening out. Thank you for looking after us so well Nigel.

Nigel our host could not have been more helpful- letting us check in early and helping us organise a taxi for that evening. Ideal location for what we needed and a good breakfast with lots of choice.

The rooms were quite hot when we got back in the evening- it was easy enough to turn the radiator off and open the window but maybe they could save money on their heating a little bit!

Breakfast was 5 star quality and Nigel was so accommodating to any variations for food choices

There is no parking outside the house, although up the road a little there is free parking on the main street outside houses, this is not recommended for anyone with disability, too many steps and stairs for access to building and rooms.

Nigel was very friendly and helpful, a superb host. Breakfast was fab, lots of options. Room was lovely, very comfortable. Would book again if we're down this way.

Nothing really that we didn't like. Taps in the bathroom could be converted to wing taps to give more room but that's a really minor thing!

This is a cosy and friendly B&B. The bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were very pleased that the room had a bath. The breakfast was delicious.

No complaints at all. As they don’t provide an evening meal Nigel recommended the Red Lion for supper and that was marvellous.

Everything was perfect! Nigel was a fab host. Room was beautiful, it was a great size for myself and my son to stay in. Breakfast both mornings was lovely! Location was spot on for the wedding I was attending at Tern Hill Hall.

We liked everything! We only had one small problem which was the radiator wasn’t working but Nigel had provided a small fan heater which was perfect.

Arrived here, wasn't expecting a lot. 4 poster bed extremely comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities available. Very quiet and majestic. Full English breakfast with all the trimmings. Superb host, would stay again.

Nothing comes to mind. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be staying again. I give it 5 stars!!
