No.10 Preston

Each room is individually decorated and furnished - all to a high standard. I have been staying in this hotel for work purposes, due to it's location and have been delighted at all the rooms I've stayed in so far. Cost comparisons to the nearby chain hotels are very competitive and during some of my stays, have far exceeded value for money. The rooms are warm, cosy and clean. The beds are comfy. The staff are lovely and friendly and cannot do enough for you. All in all, a fantastic place to stay whether you are away on business, or visiting the town for social reasons. I would 100% recommend this to anyone without fail.

There isn't any parking, but for £8 you can stay in a carpark around the corner, which is only a 2minute walk away.

Location was excellent . We came by train and this is very near station . It was a late decision to leave the car at home and I was worried about finding parking nearby so this was a good decision. Apartment finished nicely and two en-suite bathrooms lovely. Everything we could need in hand and milk etc also in the fridge .

We were there for two days and I was surprised to have the apartment serviced on second day . I had items scattered about and would have put these away if I had expected anyone to come into the apartment . I did not consider that necessary but nice to have it tidied up. Internal living room had no natural light and decor did darken it even more but we were not there long .

Room very comfortable and nicely finished. Water and fresh milk was put in the fridge which was a nice touch. Modern bathroom. Cleaning staff very pleasant. It is a self-service hotel with no reception or on-duty staff, but the check in codes for access and obtaining the room key worked well.

The room was quite stuffy. The windows would only open a small amount because of locking wires. A fan is helpfully provided but would struggle in hot weather. A room safe took up most of a cupboard and would have been useful, but was not functioning as confirmed by the cleaning staff. A pity.

We were upgraded on the day of our stay. Lovely and clean. There is plenty of room. Very comfortable beds. Complementary water, tea, coffee, biscuits, and milk but the milk had gone off, unfortunately. Milk was in date so just one of those things. We would definitely stay again. Great location.

A bigger table for eating would have been nice and a dressing table with a mirror. Plus accessible plugs for hair dryer and straighteners as I had to get ready in the lounge. But this would not deter me from staying again as it was a lovely apartment.

clean, warm, friendly and conveniently located! bed was super comfortable and the bathroom and shower was amazing! not much of a view but then again I came for a short stay so this wasn’t an issue, was surprised that some rooms are in one entrance and some on another which was a slight inconvenience as I had friends staying in another room so had to wait to gain entry to see them through the other main door but again nothing too negative.

Everything was lovely. one issue is it’s quite loud when you’re in late check out and cleaners are fumbling about outside your bedroom door with vaccines. talking about which rooms need what etc. again not a big issue but some guests might be woken by it.

This was my second stay a whole almost 5 years later at this property and it didn't disappoint! We stayed at the 1760 2 bedroom apartment which was extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated with and amazing double rainfall shower! The staff communicates promptly and even assisted with extra towels, toiletries and showed us how to use the shower late at night. We are a family of 5 with a lot of heavy luggage and they even helped us heave it up the stairs to the third floor where our room was located. This property is affordable and great value and located right at the Fishergate shopping center and walking distance from many restaurants and cafes. Loved every bit of it!

The rooms do not have A/C and it could get hot or stuffy and we had to open windows to get air in. I would suggest that the hotel add A/C if possible. And an elevator! :)

We stayed for just one night as we were attending a wedding in Preston. I wish we could have stayed longer as the hotel is lovely. It is very centrally located, being just off a main shopping street, can't get much more central to Preston than that. Two minutes walk to the train station. We were woken a couple of times by a delivery into the store next door but to be honest, it wasn't a major issue and soon fell asleep again in the very comfortable bed. The small kitchen was ideal for a few days stay so you don't have to eat out every night. Complimentary waters, tea, coffee, a bottle of PROPER milk in the fridge. Décor is lovely with a boutique feel. Nice extra touches like a jar of sweets on the bedside table and the bed was so comfortable. The water in the bathroom was too hot for a shower and the control was a little stiff to cool it down, but as we like it hot it wasn't a major issue.

The floors creak so much I felt sorry for the people in the room under ours.

The only thing we struggled with was the heat. It was an exceptionally warm, humid night. Our room was on the ground floor on the front of the property so we couldn’t leave the windows fully open with the bar being across the street and neither myself, my husband or infact our dog slept well. The was just no air flow, way of getting cool air in or air con/fan available.

Very nice music playing on arrival very snug and warm. Lovely place more than I was expecting with great decor. Was upgraded on arrival which was nice.

Didn't interact with staff as nobody there. - leaving the building was difficult as directions on exiting the main door indicated to press a button to left of sign - but this was a hidden dial that needed turning- a small thing but frustrating!

Very spacious, comfortable, great value for money, the location was perfect, they left milk and water in the fridge. The sweets were a great personal touch. Will 100% be back for another visit.

Only thing was I couldn’t find the wifi password. Because of the phone network I am with I couldn’t get any reception which was a little bit tricky to stay in touch etc, but that’s just a very minor issue. It could of been in display somewhere but I couldn’t see it.
