it was located outside of Bristol and exceptionally easy to access and good parking facilities, met by the lady who owns the property, she was friendly and helpful. the room was clean and had the usual facilities and a four poster be which was very comfortable. The shower eventually became hot ( was cursing a cold shower)but when it was hot it was possibly the best electric powered shower I have ever had it had a good pressure and was hot. breakfast was served in the main house and was very good with good selection of cereals and choice of full English or continental- full English was very good.

the room was cold even with the heating on and the bathroom cold in the morning.

Everything is perfect. We had reserved a family room, and when we arrived, it surpassed our expectations in terms of cleanliness, warmth, and the quality of the shower. The view that could be seen from the room was breathtaking. We arrived at the hotel at six o'clock in the evening, and the weather was foggy; consequently, when we checked in, it felt like our own home. You can use communal microwave and fridge too! The English breakfast was incredible, and the surrounding farmland and house provided a breathtaking backdrop for the meal. We felt our stress melt away as we strolled around the farm that belonged to the house. We were only able to stay there for one night, so it's a shame that we have to leave.

Nothing!

I was only there over night but the host was very pleasant, room was clean and warm, breakfast was cooked fresh and served quickly. I will definitely stay here again. Because the weather was not great I did not spend any time outside, but looks like a lovely place for a family to stay as the surrounding views would be stunning and the farm itself has a children's area. I was on a business trip, needed somewhere to stay overnight. Easy access from here to Motorway network and Bristol or Bath.

There was nothing that I didn't like other than the weather.

the property was very old and the part we stayed in was a very well converted barn. meant to read the information about the history of the place when we were there, but did not have time.

nothing about the property, but would have been helpful to have been given information about where to get an evening meal. it was Sunday when we stayed and most places to eat were fully booked. would have been useful to have pre booked a meal knowing the popularity of the pubs/restaurants nearby.

A classic B&B in a historical guesthouse building surrounded with a working farm and countryside views, 15 minutes driving from Bath and close to other historical towns and villages.

There was limited access to the farm animals, most of them being behind electrical wires and even the few who are not were mostly incommunicative (with the exception of the family dogs), unlike other places in the countryside that we visited. A little disappointing for our kids.

Nice big room that was already toasty warm when we arrived. Full English breakfast was delicious and piping hot - perfect way to start the day. The staff were friendly and very efficient. We met the owners young daughters who were delightful, kept us entertained at breeakfast!

The bath was very sloped at the shower end so my 6ft+ husband couldn't quite get under the shower properly but he improvised and got sorted! Personally I would have preferred a slightly bigger bed but it was comfortable so thats all that mattered.

the place was very easy to find (i used satnav as travelled from far), it looked fantastic from the outside. got my room and I couldn't believe how beautiful and tasteful it looked, true farm house style. Plenty of space around to walk the dog too, although I kept him on the lead as plenty of sheep with lambs behind the fence and stomping at us :) Owner lady was delightful to deal with. excellent experience, loved every minute of it and definitely will be back!

We first used Toghill Farm in March of this year; from the moment we met the owners we felt at home and they made sure we had everything we needed. The well prepared and varied breakfast served with such a warm and friendly manner was just the sort of greeting to set us up for the day. As we needed to come back to a local hospital again yesterday 15th June we contacted the Farm and were very happy to be welcomed back, We enjoyed another room and the breakfast once again. The scenery from our bedroom over their fields and the lambs and hens were an extra bonus, we know they are completely dog friendly and our dogs would be very happy; well behaved both coming from farms so we hope to be able to visit and stay a little longer in the area around there and look forward to seeing everyone there and of course the dogs we met there. .

There is nothing negative about the farm from a usual holiday break just one thing I have found awkward for me; I am not very good at climbing stairs after a nasty accident several years ago. I do not want to let my problems spoil what is otherwise a perfect break.

Comfortable beds. We also appreciated 3 singles beds for kids with good mattresses. The rooms were clean with nice design. Breakfast was nice but could be more variation (e.g. no cheese / ham was provided). Staff was attentive and helpful.

The shower head didn't work well, and the wc reservoir took a long time to refill. It would be handy to have a hanger for wet towels so they can dry overnight.

Fantastic welcome, friendly and helpful host made us feel relaxed straight away. Great location with a lovely room and sheep right outside our window. We had a bath with our room which was a bonus after a long day walking in poor weather.(there was also a shower over the bath which was great). Room was great to relax in and that all we did in the evening and watched some tv. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast, my vegan requirements were catered for and the lady that served us was very helpful and friendly. I felt for the price we paid, it was brilliant value for money and would heartily recommend.

I didn't find anything that I disliked.
